Everything in the room worked very well,heating,hot water,lighting,shower,TV,curtain pulls.Bed was crisp and clean and comfortable.Traffic and outside street noise died down quickly after 11pm and dustmen didn't come until 8.30pm whch made a nice change from being woken up in middle of the night.Decor and design of reception and rooms and furniture was very dated-reminded me of the 1960's when I was young and I didn't like it then but it had a certain charm possibly more if you hadn't experienced it the first time around.Staff were wonderful and showed me another two double rooms for my next stay which were much better-lighter and more modern looking and I may book one of them for next time as the price is good.

The shape of the room was a bit odd and it was dark in the daytime.The armchair was of no use and should be renewed instantly as even the cover could not disguise the fact that it had definitly not ever been up to the job of resting weary travellers.The crockery and cutlery and table linen was cheap -plastic transparent pudding bowls for breakfast cereal and white plastic spoons! Breakfast was fine but juice extractor should have been in a Museum.Young people would probably be less critical than an older person.

the location is so good and easy to find . Room is spacious and really money worth.

It seems like a tourist hotel but the breakfast is really poor for such a hotel.

Nice staff, just in de centre near restaurants, free wifi in public area, , good breakfast, could park the car free just near the entrance with a special guestcard from the hotel.

Fantastic central location, less than 10 minutes walk from rail and bus station, but not noisy. Efficient and courteous staff. Very clean and spacious room.

it was a bit run down, the breakfast was not worth getting up fot. There should have been tea making facilities in the room as we were never sure when the bar would be open

The Hotel is very central. We had a large double room with plenty of space to relax. The room was on the 3rd floor and while central there was no noise at night.

A typical town centre hotel with everything you need but little atmosphere

The hotel is in an excellent position, it was clean, but unfortunately our room had a terrible smell of bad drains, room 107. The hotel did supply plenty of toiletries The breakfast was typical continental. The staff were friendly

There is an old and new part of hotel...I felt I got the last room in the oldest part - not a nice part...window to a wall...etc....was it because of booking through this agency?

The room was perfectly clean! The hotel really had a pleasant (and typical Italian) atmosphere, not in the last place because of the kind 'cappucio-men' who served the coffee during breakfast. It is an excellent hotel for a relatively low room rate.

The rooms are cleaned quite early in the morning, but this is a problem in almost all hotels. Why is that? It gives you the feeling that you get chased out of your room. In this way it is not possible to have a long lie- in. And there was no 'do not disturb' card in the room, so it was not possible to give the signal that you were still sleeping. But nevertheless, it was a really good hotel and I will recommend it other people.
