Hotel Alessandra is part of Palazzo Balsamo, a rare example of Sicilian architecture in the centre of Palermo. Rooms offer original furniture of the 19th century. Free Wi-Fi is available in the lobby....
Score from 488 reviews Good
The modern and functional Ibis Styles Palermo features a sea-view, rooftop terrace overlooking the harbor of Palermo, which is just 165 ft away.
Score from 1667 reviews Very good
Set in Palermo’s historic area, Hotel Moderno offers a convenient central location on one of the city’s main streets. It is just a 10-minute walk from Palermo Train Station and Cathedral.
Score from 365 reviews Good
Locanda Re Ruggero is set opposite the cathedral in the historic centre of Monreale, a picturesque town on the slopes of Mount Caputo. The air-conditioned rooms all feature free Wi-Fi.
Score from 227 reviews Wonderful
Close to the city center and train station. Good for one or two days.
Breakfasts from 7.30am and I had to get out at 7.00am so breakfast was not available to me
hard parking around
Location - on the main street, close to railway station and to the most important tourist attractions of Palermo. Kind, friendly, helpful staff. Spacious room. Wi-fi was ok.
Our room was extremely dark! It is huge room with only one terrace door-window that can not be fully opened. Hence, even the day we had to keep on artificial lights. There were too many too hungry biting mosquitoes. The breakfast served in the room was not rich.
Good accessibility from airport when you take a bus to the centre. They serve excellent chocolate croissant at breakfast.
I have small bathroom unit but it relates to really good price.
The owners were amazing, very helpful!
The street noise
Excellent value with clean, spacious rooms.
Well located hotel very close to the railway station Palermo Centrale, good breakfast, friendly staff
tasty breakfast served in the room, friendly staff, room without the private bathroom had a sink
there was only one bathroom with no separate toilet (I stayed in the room without the private bathroom)
We had have a warm welcoming on our arrival to the hotel. Signora gave us fresh croissants and some water to drink what we really needed after travelling at a hot day in August. The hotel is located in the city center. Breakfast is served in a room. Dario helped us to print our boarding passes and 'fixed' internet for us ;D (hahaha), you are a star! Thanks a lot for everything!
Friendly staff and very good location...
Simpatici e bravissimi!
Very good localisation - few steps from the train station, about 15min by walk from the sea. Flexible and polite staff was helpful and open to all our needs. Nice breakfast included in price. Hotel is on the 4th floor but there is an elevator.
Very noisy, even at night. Could be cheaper for these conditions.
- The guy at reception was friendly - Near the bus and train stations - Nice room but the mattresses and pillows were quite old - They bring the breakfast to the room - They cleaned the room every day - The TV and air conditioning worked properly
- The Internet was slow or didn't work sometimes - The shower did not smell very well - The mattresses and pillows were old and not very comfortable - I don't like this city tax thing. I know it's now common in Italy, but why??? Why did we have to pay this tax in cash? Although we could pay the room by card, we were asked to pay this tax in cash and we didn't get a receipt. -The sockets in the room are obsolete. We had to buy an adaptor when all my devices are European (230 V).
The hotel has a great location (right in the center of Palermo and 5 minutes from the central station). The staff was amazing and very friendly! One of the owners speak very good English so I had no problem of communication. I also liked very much the breakfast as I had the chance to change it everyday and also they always brought it to me in my room an on time. Also the owners were very helpful and willing to help me with any problem that I faced during my staying. As I stayed there for 11 days I will definitely recommend it as a place to stay as it is cheap but also offers high quality of services. Finally Hotel Italia's WIFI is pretty fast, something very unusual for hotels. I will definitely come back whenever I visit Palermo again!
Everything went great and I have no complaints at all!
Great choice of hotel for a quick stop. Close to train station. Friendly staff. They were able to print off our boarding passes without any hassle.
Couldn't accommodate us for breakfast because we left too early.
The hospitality of staff in taking care an accident occurred from thieves attack when we walked along the street and we can left our luggage for half day after check-out.
The room so small and rather dark.
Made very welcome on arrival and able to access our room at 11:00
Problem in the evening regaining access as reception must have been unattended and need to open street front door to building on street. Take the phone number with you in case this happens.
Excellent place - city centre, railway station, via Roma.
Poor breakfast, rare and bad cleaning of the room. Personal doesn't speak English at all
this family operating hotel has a long history. we like everything of the hotel. staff is helpful. location is close to train station. and we walked to every sightseening points in city centre. there was not nois because it was weekend.
Location. Stuff. Clean. Breakfast.
A top location, near the railway station and near a lively night life area, which is clearly gentrifying.
That the lift doors don't always get closed properly by others, so you have to go and get it yourself. And staff lying about the check-out time, saying it is 11am rather than 12 noon.
The breakfast was not great, but then then it was a budget hotel
Noise, tobacco smell, hard mattress, poor WiFi
The staff was super nice and friendly. Breakfast served in the room
The room was quite basic , small and dark for this price.
The staff were very helpful and enthusiastic about everything. The view from the room was magic. I would go back to stay in a heartbeat.
