Quiet room with air conditioning
Very small ensuite
Very nice spacious and quiet room, had great sleeps. I asked for a quiet room and they gave me one!! Good fast wifi in the room. Yummy breakfast and coffee. Can walk almost anywhere in the historical center from the hotel. Very kind and helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again. Good value for money!
Good location. Very clean. They change towels every day. Breakfast is ok.
Quite a noisy street and very very very small shower.
Staff were amazing. Very nice and helpful. Location was great as well. Walking distance from monumento Vitorino Emanuele.
It was not hotel's fault but some of my "neighbours" (other guests) were very noise in the corridors! I had to open the door and ask them to be quieter. It was very late already. Apart from that out stay was very nice.
Tiny shower, no restaurant recommendations
Very friendly staff and great location for exploring rome
Hotel was lovely, basic but had everything we needed and was clean. Staff we're very helpful and friendly, giving us lots of directions and reccomendations on where to go. Also, staff are avaliable 24/7 which was extremely helpful. Location was perfect, walking distance to practically everywhere and also close to the metro and bus stations. Overall I would definitely reccomend it to anyone staying in Rome, lovely little place.
Good location and friendly, helpful staff
great location for getting around Rome
Extremely kind and helpful Staff, great location (quiet room in the centre of busy city), nice breakfast - all for a reasonable price. I can recommend it to both solo travellers on business trips, as well as to couples on romantic vacation. Will definetely come back.
The wifi signal was rather poor, at least in my room.
The room was extremely lovely and was well situated
The shower in the room it self, if you would like some privacy the shower faced the bed.
Terrrific staff, nothing was too much trouble Fantastic location Rooms very nice
Breakfast a bit sparse, would have liked a bit of bacon :)
Hotel is small, but comfortable and neat. Lobby area and entrance are very authentic, we liked that. Our room was spacious enough with freshly renovated bathroom - really very nice. All the reception stuff guys were very friendly and helpful, we liked them. The distance from Termini can be done by foot. The hotel itself is almost on via Nationale - which is perfect for sightseeing. Walking distance from the main places of interest.
The only disappointment was rather a sad view from the window - but it didn't spoiled the whole positive impression. A bit strange was a woman serving breakfast, who looked browned off and kind of rough all the time. Breakfast was not even satisfactory though. Poor, and surprisingly overcrowded.
Spacious rooms and bathrooms.
Breakfast was rather average
Abdule the receptionist was so friendly helpful and enthusiastic.
Breakfast could have been a bit better. More fresh fruit would be ideal.
Location, price, helpful staff.
The hallway smelled of sewage.
The staff is kind and very helpful. They assisted with directions and recommended valued tours. The breakfast in the morning is substantial and offers a variety of food. The rooms are small but very clean.
Can't think of anything I did not like.
There is a quaint old-fashioned elevator which takes you up to the hotel situated on the first floor. The doorman greeted us as we exited the elevator and helped us with our luggage. We were early for check-in so we were able to leave our cases in the lobby and when we returned to the hotel they had been taken to our room. The rooms are small but well-appointed with a small desk and shutters on the windows, along with air-conditioning and double glazing, so they are quiet. The small bathroom had an excellent shower cubicle. This hotel is great value for money and centrally located.
We asked for a second pillow but didn't get one.
location air condition in the room bathroom in the room reception staff very nice
internet connection very slow breakfast modest we had the room just next to the kitchen so we were woked up at 7 am when the breakfast started.
Air conditioning was great as it was very hot outside. Breakfast had a good selection of food. It was clean and comfortable.
The staff was great, Sabrina & Abdul were especially helpful. Quaint location near several famous landmarks. Small grocery market nearby, restaurants also very close. Good value.
Housekeeping issue upon arrival, quickly resolved. The only TV channel available in English was BBC news. Free breakfast selection was limited but still very good.
- fantastic staff who couldn't do enough for you - beautiful little hotel - very comfortable room with comfy beds, good working aircon and wifi, palatial bathroom - 5 minutes from the nearest Metro station and 15 minutes from the train station - would definitely recommend it
- a 20 minute walk to most of the sites
While small, the rooms have everything you need while traveling- the concierge was very friendly and helpful, and the location was very central.
The rooms could be a bit larger, bit it's a great value when traveling in Rome.
I stayed in Hotel Maxim with a friend in June for 3 nights. Our room was at the top floor and overlooking a really small inner yard although to be honest it was more like a smallish square so it was looking at the wall of the room next to us but being on the top floor it was light inside. The room and the bathroom was pretty big, plenty of room. The hotel is right in the middle of the busiest shopping street, 1 minute walking distance to the Duomo, 3 minutes to Uffizi Gallery and the River Arno. But the rooms not looking at the street should be quiet, just like ours. Also the hotel has free wi-fi with good reception. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is basic but fulfilling. Not expensive given the location of the hotel.
