Clean hotel Friendly staff Great location
Simple, clean, small hotel. We stayed in the annex opposite the hotel. It was clean, well tended and in a relatively safe area. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to Forum and Trevi Fountain, so good location. Staff were friendly, breakfast was good and the free wifi was great to have.
Room was quite small, and the shower was tiny, however, the ceiling was quite high in the room, which prevented it from appearing claustrophobic.
good location room was clean and comfortable nicely decorated small room but they have set the room up well so didn't feel cramped at allm would stay there again
there was a gentleman behind the desk that wasn't very approachable. I think we must have caught him at a stressful time and I don't think he handled it very well, instead of him taking the 10 seconds to help us, the next customer helped instead..
The location is great and the staff are very helpful.
Friendly staff Nice breakfast Great location
Wifi was a bit hit & miss but it was being fixed while we where there so by the time we left was much better
the location is perfect ,it is walking distance to colosseum, trevi fountain, spanish steps, piazza navona ,piazza venezia...and the metro station is realy near about 100 m.The room is very clean, breakfast was ok,wi-fi signal was excellent, the price is ok.
the room did not had fridge ,and the hotel is on first floor ,the rest of the floors are homes so there was a lot of noise coming from above and we couldn't sleep
Friendly staff, superb location. Continental breakfast was always fresh and well maintained. Room was very clean, bed made up every day.
The bed was very firm but bed comfort is a personal preference.
Friendly staff. Good effort overall.
No hot water in shower, just lukewarm.
Most of the staff were very friendly, spoke good English and the room was very clean.
Single rooms are tiny. Breakfast is very basic. Quite a walk from all the main historical sites. Charged 9€ for booking a taxi!
Friendly staff, comfy bed, large pleasant room with good central heating. Walking distance to most tourist attractions.
Small things- terrible hairdryer, shower cold at times- wouldn't heat up properly and it also leaked out and wet the surrounding floor.
The front desk was helpful
The room was extremely small. The bathroom was the smallest I've ever seen, plus the water would be either freezing cold or boiling hot when showering. The room was dusty to the point that my fiancé suffered an asthma attack.
This is a small, pleasant hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The location was just perfect for us - near the Termini and Repubblica metro station, but on walking distance to all major sites in the heart of Rome, and the neighborhood is nice as well. Our room was good and very clean and breakfast was ok. Altogether, it was excellent value for money and we could recommend this hotel.
The first two days the WiFi didn't work in our room, only in the lobby, but after that, it was repaired.
Near to the metro station, termini station,we could walk to the main Rome attractions from there.Staff was polite, breakfast was ok,room was quiet.
Not a value for money hotel. Our room had two single beds and not one double as agreed , it was smelling like mould sometimes and was too warm.Generally It was clean enough but bathroom could be cleaner.
The staff were so friendly and helpful and really added to our trip. The room was beautiful and we looked forward to coming home each day!
Sometimes the wifi wasn't very strong, but other than that I'd strictly recommend hotel italia to anyone! I would go back there in a heartbeat
Excellent location, pretty nice staff, and good price. Best option if you like to spend many hours visiting the city and using the hotel only for sleeping.
It is not the most comfortable place, so if you are the king of person who likes to spend a lot of hours at the hotel, look for another one.
Cool lift, veery retro.closeness to all tourist spots,we could walk everywhere.Breakfast was ok, but not very imaginative.
People were great at this hotel, very helpful and with easy access to the Cental Station and a main bus route on Via Natzionale.
The Internet connection is very slow.
As a frequent visitor of Rome I can admit that the central location of the hotel allows easy access to any place in the city. Front desk clerk Abdul was very helpful and hospitable. Hotel rooms were near and regularly cleaned, breakfast was quite nice, coffee in particular. Next time I will definitely prefer this hotel. By the way, wi-fi connection in the room was good. Do not search for a hotel, book this one directly.
- Clean rooms - Good location
- Wi-fi was so slow pretty much non existent. - Breakfast is really bad. inedible. - No windows or ventilation in the hotel. Even in winter it was suffocating.
The staff were very friendly, and did their best to apprise as of methods to avoid pickpockets. The room was nice and spacious, though a bit stuffy. There is a very good sandwich place just next to the entrance.
The room was a bit stuffy, but the road outside was very busy so we couldn't open the window at night.
As three friends, we stayed in an amazing hotel in Rome in the month of december. We were welcomed by a really cheerful person whose name is Abdul. Breakfast is suitable for everyone from different cultures. The rooms are quiet confortable and clean. Every single detail for your comfort is already been taken care of. Hotel Italia is located in a very good location. The bus stop is just in front of the hotel and it takes only 15 minutes to get to Termini by walk. It’s on the Via Nazionale Revenu which is a lively shopping center of the city. I’d like say thank you to Abdul, the hotel owner and to all the hotel staff...
Location, cleanliness, comfy bed, simple breakfast but good service for coffee.
Small shower with weird doors that got the floor flooded, we were charged extra to get towels to clean the mess, impossible to get internet connection, unfriendly owner seem to make his staff edgy. If you can, pay a little more and go somewhere else. This place will not make your visit to Rome memorable for the right reasons.
Good location and breakfast Nice and clean and quiet. Everything you need for a good nights sleep.
For the price it was v good but basic. Single bed, desk and chair. perhaps not for you if you are used to classic luxury hotels. Wifi connection was poor.
Clean, excellent value for money
Window blind did not work in one room
