Rooms rather dated but comfortable. Good location for walking to town centre
Very slow wifi and required payment at reception > Welcome to 1999 !! Come on this is 2014 most hotels (even cafes) are now free wifi. !! Room safe is operated by a key from reception on payment : this is 2014 most room safes are free operated by digital sequence !!
Great location, friendly staff
Room too small
Within easy walking distance of centre
Charge for wifi Lack of onsite amenities
Had a superior room. It was light and airy but still basic.
We opted for a superior room. I wouldnt bother next time. I dont know what the extra bathroom toiletries were and we didnt use the robes. The breakfast was poor. They had run out of all pastries and rolls when we arrived at 9.30. No hot option.
Hotel has its own covered parking, location just outside city centre 10 min walk. Nice comfortable room with a balcony.
All pretty good really
Excellently located and very nice hotel, in a reasonable walking distance to the city centre, and to the arena. Therefore I would recommend it for those going to visit opera performances there
As a matter of fact one information on the booking.com website was incorrect. Hotel has an exellent garage and there is no need to park on the street.
Helpful and pleasant staff
No air conditioning
breakfast ok-plenty of variety-rooms clean- quiet hotel
no tea/coffee making facilities-décor a bit dated-reviews said 10 mins into old town-strolling is more like 20 mins-on busy road with no restaurants close by if you didn't want to walk into town. we had to pay in cash on final day as card machine not working which was inconvenient.
the staff was helpful when I said I have a cold. They prepared hot water with honey for me. The interior design of the hotel was nice, recently renovated.
I booked via booking.com for three nights for this hotel but I wanted to stay over at a friend's house out of Verona. I told about this before my arrival over the phone, and the person on the phone said they can sort it out when I arrive there. After I checked in on the first day, they told me that since I made a check-in, I have to pay for three nights. I stayed for two nights but paid for three. In that sense, it was not worth it. The hotel also charge extra for breakfast which makes the total amount quite high compared to the other hotels. And the breakfast was nothing special. I am disappointed about this booking policy either the hotel or this website is responsible for. In addition my room was over warmed and small for the price I paid.
My account was charged even if I paid with cash. After 4 days I still do not see my money back in my account. I had to contact the hotel for explanations.
bad ( socks ) smell in room
Proximity to the hospital
Very bad internet connection (and you need to pay for it)
