The staff were absolutely amazing! Very genuine and full of fantastic tips & advice. Very caring and tried their best to make sure that we had the most amazing stay while in Rome. The breakfasts were good, rooms so clean and modern. Location right near the vartican was a blessing!
Nothing! Could not find fault with this hotel.
Iulia guest house is a bit beyond the real awful streaming touristcrowds, yet is it central, at the gates of vatican. Here you have the chance to see italian people, too, and maybe have a capuccino at the side of them, in their everyday café or drugstore. The service/personal is superb, kind and attentive. The rooms are new, light, well furbished and clean. Real pleasant to be there.
The douchecabin is very small, otherwise, everything perfect for a pleasant stay.
The staff was excellent and food was good.
The room decor is very tasteful. Beds are comfortable. Staff is very accommodating and helpful. Jeff is the best and Iulia was a great option while in Rome. I would stay again if I am back. - from Singapore
excellent staff who is helpful and location where shopping and food are just down stair but at the same time away from tourist crowd.
Very welcoming, clean and beautiful breakfast provided. The location was fantastic close to the main central shopping area and also a close proximity to the vatican city.
Staff- very helpful, Sef the guy in charge with running the hotel help us with everything, 10 plus for this guy Location- 3 minutes from vatican which is fabulous also 3 minutes to ottaviano metro station and bus like 32 81 or 40 which are going all over Rome and Termini station Great gelato spot near hotel called Lemongrasse gelato go there go vatican and you will never want to leave Rome Mercato - negotiation buy products. shops like zara anything you want Cosy building feeling like home
Everything was great, I will sure go back soon I will get the chance, recommend with all my heart.
We have a wonderful stay! We booked three rooms, my friends loved it too. We were taken care of from the very first moment ! Millions thanks to Chef! We love u
We love everything about the hotel especially the staff, Chef, makes us feel so warm. Thank u for taking care of us! We went there twice and we will go back again!
everything is very nice. The room is well-prepared for us, we felt warm as there are rose petal on bed which design for us. Breakfast are yummy and we can choose what we want to eat on the menu they offer. The staff is vey friendly, he wait for us though we check in late on that day.
Beautiful little Guest house, modern and clean. Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Absolutely loved it.
In this guest house we saw only one person (Yousef) who does everything and he works hard.
During our 3 nights stay they didn't change the filthy linen with stains on it, and I asked the guy to give me a new towel because we had to clean the water which came out of shower. Seems proprietor is happy with minimum facilities. The cushions on the bed were smelly. Overall we were not happy with this guest house at all.
Chef makes this hotel. Nice big room. He got up early for us to have breakfast our last day. I really liked this hotel and chef!
Never saw the owners or received a phone message, they said we didn't have a reservation, didn't check that we had two names on the reservation.
Room was modern, location was good.
Breakfast was not of Italian standard
It, was the BEST guest house in Italy !! (I been traveling around Italy) Very friendy and helpfully !!!!!!, the room was clean and very cosy. The breakfast - international and tasty. I would stay there again !! :-))
The owner and his staff were very accomodating.
The room was a little small with lots of traffic noise. The price showing on the website is per person not per room.I only noticed this in the fine print after we arrived.
Staff helpful and polite. Nice breakfast. Great locatio
Sink plug did not work and doors squeaky. Thought 30 euro for second person in small double room a bit steep
Excellent service from Cheath and the Italian gentleman
We stayed at the hotel last week for 5 nights. The location is excellent. It is an easy 10 minute walk to the metro and under 15 to the Vatican. It is in a great location next to lots of shops and restaurants. Across the street is a wonderful deli as well. Cheuf, the manager, was delightful and we really enjoyed his help everyday. For breakfast you fill out the menu the night before. You can now get eggs. Breakfast was very punctual. The bed was very comfortable. We had a wonderful hot shower all week. The bathroom was huge but we did stay in the suite. They arranged for our private car which was great. You pay the driver and so plan to have cash with you.
I did not like that there were no peep holes in the door nor a chain on the door.
Everything was perfect, the suite we stayed in was gorgeous and had everything you needed. Huge comfty bed, 2 tvs, fully equipped fridge and the room was huge. Great veiw of the busy streets below and you can see the top of St. Peter's basilica. Service was great Sef is the most helpful and caring guy around he ran the accommodation and brings you breakfast in the morning at what time you like. Breakfast is what you want from a list of continental options and you write what time you would like it. Shower was great, hot water and big bathroom. Would definetly stay there again. Location was great on a fashionable street full of posh shops and nice restaurants. Not far from metro but the metros are few and far between. Great accommodation very clean and beautiful presented. Thanks Sef had a lovely stay and thank you for looking after us.
The guest house is a bit tricky to find we were following directions on my phone and it led us to the door but there is no big sign to say 'Iulia' we walked around for a bit then realised next to a huge door is a panel which u buzz to the guest house it's definetly door number 217 which is on the wall at the top of the door. The guest house is on the fifth floor of a building block with other offices and guest houses. You have to buzz in then be let in. Not a major negative just something to remember so your not walking up and down trying to find it just look out for the door number x
Location! Cola di rienzo is a shopping via, everything is there, shops, restaurants and it's 5mns walk to the Vatican.. The room was really nice and romantic, very clean and modern. Staff members were very nice and approachable. They made the room very romantic as how I wanted it. Mr.Chef was very helpful! Complimenti
The "chef" was very nice and welcoming, the location is excellent and the rooms were very quiet.
Perfect location, nice, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, will recommend to friends and family
The only area for improvement would be to have a wider choice of items for breakfast :)
“We loved the staff friendlyness. The room was very clean and cozy. Great place to stay when visiting Rome.”
The staff was absolutely brilliant! The location is perfect, close to everything. Rome is general is a walking city and the apartment was within walking distance to the Vatican, Spanish Steps, and piazza del popolo. We will stay here again next time we visit.
