A longtime favourite holiday destination of Italians, Rimini is all about the beach. And with almost 10 miles of sand, it’s easy to see why. It is said that there are 1000 Rimini hotels, and while that might be a slight exaggeration, this Adriatic playground does have more than just sun, sand and glorious sea.
The food is fantastic. Well, this is Italy after all. With some of the best nightlife in Italy, Rimini has a wealth of bars with dance floors, many by the beach, and the next door town of Riccione is a clubbing mecca.
Family-orientated Rimini attractions include the dolphinarium and the Italy in Miniature and Fiabilandia theme parks. A few miles south of Rimini Miramare Airport is Oltremare, a zoo-turned-amusement park located next to Aquafan, a huge water park that becomes a nightclub with foam parties.
For silence and shade, head to Borgo San Giuliano, an area of the town with pastel-painted houses and pedestrian streets. There are also remnants of the town’s Roman past to explore: Tiberius bridge, the Roman arch and the 3rd-century Surgeon’s House.
The colonnades of the Old Fish Market make a pleasant spot for a drink before heading back to your Rimini apartment, hotel or B&B. See Booking.com for the best offers.
Rimini is a beach resort town. We visited it in December so we didn't have high expectations. Boy, were we wrong!
The beach area and promenade were full of walkers and cyclists. Traffic wasn't terrible at all. I liked the fact that you could walk along the beach area with having to deal with cars, motorcycles, or Vespas.
The core downtown area is a bit small but not lacking. There were a number of shops and restaurants at our disposal. We enjoyed looking at the various architectures in the area, including the old gate.
One thing we really enjoyed was the pedestrian/bike path that runs from just south of downtown, eastward to the beach area. It was very quiet and relaxing. We never felt ill at ease.
Our original intent was to use Rimini as a gateway to San Marino. However, I think we enjoyed the city more than visiting a new country.

Not a tourist town like other places we have visited. No others speaking English when walking around etc. heard it is very busy in the summer. Took a day trip to San Marino which was so close and worth doing. Food was great and the people were helpful and very nice. Very laid back vibe. You

We had a tour guide to take us around the city and its landmarks, much more interesting city than I thought previously, our guide, Nadia, was extremely knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. There are some great restaurants and bars in the main town, so much more than the beach to Rimini!

Great resort place with countless beaches, restaurants, and shops. Perfect location. The sea, airport in the town, and railway station make it easy and quick to get there and to get to other Italian cities and various places. Beautiful old town. Ravenna, San Marino, and Bologna are very close.

One of the best hotels I have visited, and the comfort and hotel services at its levels. The cleanliness of hotels is basically the privacy of each guest, the level of services and the splendor of treatment and respect from all hotel rooms, especially. In short, your next destination if you are looking for calm, service, cleanliness and sophistication

A place to stay if you want to relax and do nothing, if by nothing you include eating, swimming, tanning and drinking. Not much to sightsee, however you must visit San Marino, it is 30min from Rimini, worth the money, however be ready for a lot of tourists.
Pictures of the hotel's interior do not do it justice. It is stylish and functional at the same time. The staff were professional and pleasant to interact with, even with the language barrier - they were always friendly and accommodating. Our balcony room was spacious, as was the balcony itself. The location is ideal, with incredible views of the beach. Although the promenade was being remodeled during our stay, we had easy access to the beach and to the street in front of the hotel, where there are numerous shops and restaurants.
I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! It is a wonderful place to stay! It is very conveniently located- just 200 meter from the beach and promenade.
The rooms in the hotel are very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Delicious breakfast is served every morning. All the people working in the hotel are very helpful and do their best to make their guests’ stay comfortable. Next time in Rimini, I’ll stay at Q hotel again!
Super friendly staff, welcoming and ready to help out with everything we needed
Decently spacious rooms, very clean and with standard aminities included
Very good breakfast for a hotel in Italy. Usually you just get some sweets in a 3* but Bamby had cold and hot meats, eggs, fruits etc.
Good location, even though we visited in winter and the beach was empty, the hotel is 10-15 min walk from the city centre
Great value for money
Familiar hotel, very good location near the beach, the center of Rimini about 2 km, 20-25 min. walk, but there is a bus directly going there. Very good breakfast, the staff is really kind and speaking well in english and german. Rooms ar about 12 sqm, enough for 2 people to stay/sleep, the balcony is quite big. On Saturday there are discos around but until midnight only, other days it is not noisy at all.
Really nice people are taking care of this accomodation.
They can speak with a correct english, don't hesitate to discuss with them about some possible reductions around the hotel (bars, restaurants).
If you get a corner room, you will get a view on the beach and on the city... possible to enjoy some meal with both views. Possible to cook in the room, separate from the main sleeping bed, which help !
I've got a superior room, instead of a regular room, thanks to the very kind staff. The room was very nice, good enough for a 3 day trip. Nice bathroom, very nice and comfortable bed, clean linens. Good breakfast and great coffee. Close to the train station (15 minutes by foot), close to the beach (max. 5 minutes). The staff was very helpful and very kind. I would revisit Q Hotel, in Rimini! :)
The staff was AMAZING! Donatella helped us completely with the logistics of public transport, which in this part of Italy is extremely confusing. Thanks to her, we reached all the scheduled events on time! She is really amazing person and replies to all questions immediately.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The beach is nearby and nice. There are also many restaurants around.
The rooms were modern, comfortable and we were delighted with the air conditioning. The hotel was close to the beach with the added bonus of a pool! The breakfast was included and it was an amazing feast! The front desk staff gave us information on what to see and wonderful restaurants and the best gelato shop in the old city part of Rimini.
Nice apart-hotel on the second line. Few minutes and you're on the beach. The beach is great, well supplied has different levels of depth, water is extremely warm. The staff was very friendly, by request they changed out towels on day 4 instead of 7, thank you for that.
This hotel has one of the best breakfast buffet that I have seen during my travels. So many varieties to choose from. Something for everyone. The location was great, right on the beach with fantastic views.
Very nice hotel facing the beach. Will surely recommend it since it’s close to main bars and cafes, let alone the beautiful beaches of Rimini.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Thank you!
I had an amazing stay in this hotel, the staff are great polite and professional, and the location is great!
Definitely I will come back in this hotel whenever I will go back to Rimini.
The location is great. 1-2 minutes walk away from some of the best beaches in Rimini. The breakfast is one of the most diverse I've ever had and better than what most hotels offer.
We always stay here on our way to and from southern italy. Friendly people, good breakfast and a big free parking lot just beside the hotel. Just 100 meters away from the beach.
Awesome location near beach. Parkin in front of hotel. Superfriendly staff. Best breakfast in Italy over 3 weeks and 10 different stays. There is alotto like. Really.
