AC Firenze is set next to the old Leopolda Station, a 15-minute walk from Fortezza de Basso convention center. It has modern rooms with plasma-screen TV and a minibar.
Score from 185 reviews Very good
friendly staff and carpark available (even though space is really tight). Room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful and good.
A fair walk from the town centre (if you do not like walking). Not many eating options around the place and staff is only available in the morning.
Great hotel with great location. We had a great time stying in there.. Wish to come back in the future..
Spiders are in the corners of the bathroom. Difficult to sleep with mosquito surrounding you. Poor breakfast is served.
free parking, location (8 mins drive to old town), nice and cosy villa
All good, maybe the breakfast was poor only.
Stayed 2 nights to visit Florence, it was tricky to find because of a small sign, not well seen. The parking place (private and free) is a bit tricky to go in and out
It was all very nice, the room was very well appointed with everything you would need, quite spacious.
The hotel is simple, but charming. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. The neighborhood is quiet and silent. The highlight was the host, Stephanie. She was so helpful! She printed us the tickets for the Uffizi, she called the transfer for the airport, kept our bags while we travelled arround Tuscany by bike. She let us stay at the hotel long after the check out time, as we didn`t have anywhere else to stay. More than that, she offered many tips about Italy and Florence!
The hotel is about 20 mins of foot from downtown. After a long day walking in museums and arround the city, it was a lillte tiresome to walk that long. Beakfast is average. No fruits. Too many mosquitos!! Buy a repelent if you are going to stay there in summer time.
The car parking was the primary reason we booked this hotel. The hotel was also great value for money with a spacious room in a quiet area.
It was a 20 minute walk into the center of Florence but there was a bus stop nearby.
Secure parking in courtyard with locked gates. Inclusive breakfast was more than adequate. We very much enjoyed our stay and booked to stay an extra night.
The breakfast eating arrangements were inadequate. 1table and 6 chairs to accommodate 12 people. We carried our breakfasts into our room to eat. It is a long walk into the city centre And whilst there is a bus stop at the end of the street, to walk into the city for an evening meal and to walk back (after buses have stopped running) is just too far.
Hotel has a parking and the breakfast was ok for italian standards.
We were put in the room which was arranged in a GARAGE. It was very dark, furnishings were very basic. It didn't look like any room from the picures put on Booking. The staff was nice but the men (Piero) misinformed us. We've asked if we could leave the car for three hours more in the day of check-out and he obvioulsy wanted to get rid of us as quick as possible. Instead he recommended 'a good parking' near the center of Florence which turned out to be 8 € per hour! Don't recommend this place.
Room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Free parking so once we arrived we could leave the car there and walk to the city centre
The breakfast. Not enough choice -most of the food is sweet, starchy and packaged. Not a good start to the day.
The rooms were spacious and the building had character. Excellent to have a parking space and walking distance to the centre
There is only one breakfast table so if it's full you either have to wait or have breakfast in your room
Stephanie was very welcoming and helpful, smiling as she showed us our room. The building is charming and well-kept, and the room spacious, VERY clean, and quiet. The bath and bed were both clean and comfy. The B&B provided us with a comfortable, quiet, and pleasant place to stay; a bit off the beaten track but well within reach of everything. We would certainly recommend it to friends.
The Wi-Fi is painfully slow, when it works at all. Not good for people traveling on business, trying to keep in touch with their office back home, or for finding out anything to do while visiting. It's been noted before and should be fixed. We enjoyed the cold breakfast - a choice of croissants, toast, granola or cereal with yogurt or milk, coffee or tea and orange juice. Some fresh fruit would be a nice addition. I'm listing it here, as it detracted from the value slightly. We have had better breakfasts at B&Bs that charged less. That said, everything was fresh and tasty, and perfect for the hot weather - a larger breakfast would have been too heavy for the warm climate.
The staff are extremely polite and courteous. The hotel is quiet, clean and comfortable. The location is great! We loved our stay.
Stephanie and Piero were outstanding. They went out of their way to make us feel we were staying in someone's home, they set up reservations for the opera and the Uffizi Gallery (very important unless you want to stand in line for two or three hours). They pointed out the restaurants that the locals frequent. The place was clean as a whistle. The pluses that I liked: The small, 7-room residence/hotel is away from the crazy central part of Florence and only a 10 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride to the central train station and the Duomo. We felt like we were living in a neighborhood, which we were. We stayed in the little casita that was draped in the most beautiful wisteria vine that's at least 100 years old. Fantastic! Thanks for a wonderful time. David and Sally, Santa Monica, California.
We liked it all. No complaints whatsoever.
