Hotel Serena is set within walking distance of Termini Train Station, which is just around the corner. The area offers many typical restaurants.
Score from 1533 reviews Very good

Hotel is on the 6th floor so our room had a nice view of the city. Close to supermarket, drug store, metro station etc. Very safe area, not that you'll have a problem anywhere else but still. Personel was fluent in english. Clean.
Wi-fi only available in public areas, but it was mentioned all along. Bars, clubs far away.easy to walk there though
it was close to everything…walking distance to Vatican, Piazza Navona, Castel Sant'Angelo and all great places to eat.
The bathroom was a little to small and didn't work out the shower being right over the toilet. A little difficult to get washed….
Eventhough we paid for a room with air conditioning we got one without. My family and I were not very happy or confortable as we got biten by mosquitos all night long. Definitely not recommended for young children, elderly or people with allergies.
I liked almost everything!! Nice location just 2 min walk to Vatican, metro is close too, buses and everything, squares with shops and restaraunts! The guys -managers are very cute! They were very helpful an nice with us. They were answering any question I asked. Also one guy unfortunately I dont remember his name called a taxi for me and my mom at 4am to Ciampino airport. When we went downstairs this guy was ready and was waiting for us to call a taxi. Very responsible!
This info only for tourists going to Rome. So my trip was very nice expecting only that fact that my newly bought phone was stolen in the bus. They opened my bag zip and took my phone out. I didnt notice that. So be very carefull. Dont put your valuable stuff in easy access places like pockets and bags zips. Use a taxi than crowdy bus. I have realized that the taxi is not expensive in Rome. For example from Termini station to Vatican it might be 15 euro. From Vatican to Ciampino airport 30 euro late night. At daytime use a bus from Ciampino which cost 4 euro to Termini station.
Friendly staff, Good proximity to the shops, restaurants & Vatican.
Noisy. Rooms are not soundproof.
Excellent location and friendly staff!!
Helpful, friendly staff that run a clean reasonably priced hotel Location is perfect on a busy street not far from Vatican.
If very old elevator is not running it is a tough walk up and down 6 flights. Must go down to second floor for breakfast.
Clean, good beds, excelent location, very good room size.
In booking they sell themselves with Airconditioner, but not all the room have them, so you might be unlucky. The toilet is literally in top of the shower, so you shower and at the same time wash the toilet, very unconfortable (the toilet).
Location is great.
Hard to find, if you don't speak Italian.
the location was fantastic, very very friendly and helpfull staff, clean, good breakfast for only €5. A basic room but had everything we needed
a little expensive for what it is but then it is in the heart of Rome!!
We find it accessible to tourist spots.
The Internet connection was not available during the time of our stay.
Great location, very well secured place, excellent service, great breakfast, very well kept cleaned, recommended 100 % Thank you Joli Hotel staff see you next time xx
bathroom was a bit of a surprise, had to shower standing by the toilet, after all it did not bother us as we knew we where not in a five star hotel!
Location surrounded by a lot of restaurants. Quite and clean.
excellent value for money compared to other hotels in the area- nice view of hills from bedroom window-- didn't opt for breakfast as lots of reasonably priced cafes nearby- would stay again
lift to the hotel slightly difficult to negotiate at first
The location was excellent, very close to Vatican, shops and market
The rooms are in an apartment building and it is like sleeping in a bedroom of a house(thin walls and door and you can hear all the noise made by other guests) The bathroom was very small and when you take a shower the water gets into the room. It does not have a proper ventilation system and the bathroom did not dry out.
Furnishing is poor very old. Wifi is only at reception area, does not cover rooms.
It'a a nice budget hotel to stay for one or two nights. Good value for money, but of course don't expect any special comfort. Just what one needs: comfy bed, shower, good location. Plus free wii-fii and continental breakfast far from what is usually called continental in Italy. I just got what I needed
The room was really nice, comfy beds, new towels and bath towels every day. Friendly and helpful hotel stuff. 10 minutes from St. Pietro square. Great view from window :)
Location was good, quiet atmosphere, kind staff, big room
No wifi in my room ;(
Excellent location,nice staff,warm room,hot water.
The location was absolutely great. The room was basic but ok. Good value for a couple of nights stay.
The bathroom was really bad. Aside from the mould stains, the shower didn't have a base but a siphon on the floor tiles. And when you unplugged the bidet, dirty water came out from the shower syphon. It needs an upgrade!!
Location was brilliant
Clean, Professionalism and politeness. The staff has helped us to make a reservation to Museums which was mandatory before you visit them. It was the best place to return to after a very tiring day walking all around the Rome. Last but not least it was located in a very nice and safe place. I would easily select it again on a next trip in Rome.
For me nothing. It was as i wanted it.
It was clean, confortable. nice stuff, good price. I go back.
The bathroom. It not was bad, just funny.
