Nice discount for massage/spa services. Very close to the ruins (Valley of Temples- the reason to visit Agrigento). Also, right next to a cinema (also discounted for hotel guests) with late shows for after the ruins (or in case of rain). Pretty gardens.

Staff was unevenly helpful (of course, my Italian is worse than uneven). The elevator and air conditioning were both malfunctioning, and some areas of the complex did not seem as well-kept-up as others.

Great location, very close to Valley of the temples.

Food in the restaurant is to be avoided. It is average at best and with exploitation pricing for people who don't want to walk the 1km up hill into town. It was the worst meal we had on our 7 day Sicily holiday, and the most expensive.

The breakfast was ok. It had scrambled eggs and bacon at least.

The elevators took a long time to open. Either way up or down. And the bath tub/ shower didn't have a curtain.

On the whole the staff were friendly and helpful (though see comment below). The gardens are attractive and the large pool (even in late October) was a real bonus. The food was good and there was plenty of choice at breakfast.

While some of the Reception staff were excellent, there were two or three occasions when we were greeted in a perfunctory manner. Eye contact and a smile are so important. The large dining room is rather drab and soulless. We decided to have our evening meals elsewhere because of this. Car parking can be a problem: there are not always sufficient places across the road, (and there is no notice that says this area is reserved for hotel guests)

It was set in a beautiful area on the edge of town and near the Temples. The pool area was so relaxing and comfortable. The grounds were very lush. The staff was helpful and responsive. I enjoyed the free breakfast and walked next door to the hotel to the pastry shop for cafe and freshly baked Italian cookies! Parking was right across the street and the hotel was just a few minutes ride from the historic downtown area. Our older daughter just wanted to relax by the pool but we encouraged her to go with us siteseeing. You must visit the Turkish Steps (about 15 minutes away) while in Agrigento.

The spa was closed on Sunday - the day we were there.

Wifi did not work in room. Reception staff would not help. Doors to room from balcony would not lock. Food in restaurant very expensive.

Staff not very friendly unapproachable. Pool area charged extra for towels and you had to each purchase swimming cap !! Few areas of maintenance needed in the room .

Our stay at Hotel Della Valle Wellness and Spa was relaxing and quiet. The room was spacious and clean. Mr. Simon was very helpful and gave us great directions.

Our dinner was ok but not great.

The swimming pool was nice and relaxing. The dining room was big and comfortable.

The hotel had a beautiful garden and a good location.

I really resented having to pay 2.50 euros per person to buy a bathing hat so that we could use the pool for a short swim after a long hot day.I had just paid 200 euros a night for a suite for my family and was now asked for 10 more euros for all four of us to use the pool. As we were only staying for one night this would have been an expensive swim! I was not made aware of the hotel's rules that bathers had to wear a bathing hat when I booked the hotel. I have stayed in many hotels both 5 and 4 star around the world and never experinced anything like this. I can only describe this policy as money grabbing of the first order.

The swimming pool and gardens were very attractive and well kept, it was a relaxing oasis to escape to away from the heat of the city.

I found the reception staff very aloof and unfriendly, unhelpful with attractions and advice.

It's location to the temples of agrigento

It's a hotel used mainly by bus tours so you get a party arriving at about 4pm;they all get back on about 7pm to go out to eat and they all get up at 6.45am making a lot of noise to get ready to leave at 8am. The hotel can have 3-4 such groups each day so it's not a relaxing place to stay.

Ils nous ont fait payer 30€ de plus pour avoir une chambre correct sinon nous avions droit à un immeuble sur la route digne de deux étoiles

Gute Erreichbarkeit des Tempeltales.

Dass nach 22:00 kein Bus mehr fährt und Taxis ebenfalls nicht verfügbar sind.

eine sehr familiäre Atmosphäre, freundlich, ruhige Lage

wer abends noch gerne in Gesellschaft ein Glas Wein trinkt oder gar Unterhaltung sucht, ist hier fehl am Platz

Die Tempel sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

Die Parkplatzsituation ist katastrophal. Wenn man Pech hat, bekommt man keinen Stellplatz vor dem Hotel und muss weit ab parken. Der Speiseraum hat den Charme einer Bahnhofshalle und das Essen am Abend nichts besonderes. Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Ab 9.00 Uhr ist das Frühstücksbuffet deutlich geleert und wird auch nicht wieder aufgefüllt. Das Personal beginnt bereits abzuräumen

hôtel très bien situé. On peut se rendre dans la vieille ville d'Agrigente à pieds et nous sommes à cinq minutes en voiture de la Vallée des Temples. Accueil très sympathique, hôtel très calme mais il faut dire que la saison estivale n'a pas encore commencée

Hôtel sans charme plutôt dédié au tourisme d'affaires Restaurant très cher et sans intérêt gastronomique : plats plus que médiocre
