The staff was very helpful in answering questions regarding the bus schecule. We selected the hotel because of the location across from the bus station for our return trip to Florence. Breakfast was enjoyable. |

Location The person who checked us in discovered our reservation was for one person, not two, as we thought we had reserved. He was not friendly and acted like we were just trying to scam the hotel (we did pay extra for two persons). We arrived at around 10 P.M. after dragging our bags for thirty minutes (it was not close to the train station). He seemed dismissive because we looked like weary travelers, not worthy of the establishment. |

I like the location of the hotel. Also, there was one hotel staff girl who was a tremendous help with planning our days. The bed was not that comfortable. |

Reception staff was fabulous upon check-in and every encounter, Elisa was so helpful. Rooms and hotel were modern, well-decorated and clean. Not a bad walk from city center and directly across from long-distance bus terminal. Restaurant had excellent food for dinner and breakfast area was spacious with a good selection. |

The hotel is located across the street from the bus station. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Also the included American breakfast was a nice change. |

I enjoyed the position, the room was clean and quite big.... I think nothing special about this hotel, for a 4 stars hotel my expectation was different....the breakfast not so good... |

The location was excellent, across the road from the bus station and within walking distance of all main attractions in beautiful Sienna. Breakfast was very good and of a high standard although staff were thin on the ground at this time. I even managed to get Special K with skimmed milk! Our first impression was horrendous. A male member of reception staff would barely look at us never mind smile or welcome us. He was beyond rude and a female colleague looking on was no better. No welcome, basic information in relation to breakfast & facilities, nothing. Staff training is a must here as customer care and manners obviously did not come naturally to these particular members of reception staff who undoubtedly have key roles to play. I did try unsuccessfully to break the ice a number of times as I didn't want it to set a precedent for our stay- thankfully it didn't. The wonderful sights, food and people of Sienna won us over in no time! |

Everything. Staff were very professional and helpful. The rooms were gorgeous. The bathroom was large. Water pressure in the shower was great! The location of the motel was perfect - within walking distance to most sites. (Once we orientated ourselves properly). Buffet breakfast was lovely. |

This hotel was very close to the centre without being so close that noise was a problem. The hotel itself doesn't have parking however limited free parking is available a short walk away.Having air conditioning is also a huge benefit as smaller hotels in the city do not have this facility which would make your stay very uncomfortable. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and speak good english. Breakfast was limited but adequate. |

The hotel is a beautiful building in itself. Well decorated interior. Big and well decorated rooms with nice furniture. Excellent breakfast. Proximity to the old town, It really is a 10 minute stroll to Campo. Would recommend it. The fact that the sheets were dirty when we arrived, but being late nobody was available, so we had to change them ourselves. Matresses were of a poor quality for a 4 star hotel (these days majority of Italian hotels have good quality hard matresses). Some of the staff at check in are great, the other part were very uninterested. Lack of hotel's parking space, even though there is public parking nearby but unatteneded. |

Hotel Athena is within the historic city walls, and enjoys spectacular views of Siena and the Tuscan hills. The cathedral and Piazza del Campo are a short walk away. |
Located in the heart of the Contrada della Torre, just 200 metres from Piazza del Campo, this recently-renovated hotel blends modern comforts with traditional Gothic Medieval architecture. |
This elegant, recently-restored bed and breakfast is located 1.5 km from the historical centre of Siena and was originally an ancient farmhouse. |
Restored from a 14th century Carmelite monastery but with large modern rooms, this hotel of exquisite character is just a few hundred metres from Siena Cathedral and the Piazza del Campo. |
