Friendly staff, modern rooms, excellent food, free parking, good price for the very well equipped room. Internet connection seemed to cost too much, the swimming pool was not in use yet when we were there, the prices in restaurant were a little higher than expected.

The hotel was very comfortable and clean. The location is excellent being on the seafront with the pleasant sea breezes a welcome relief from the heat and fumes of the town. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The room overlooked the sea. It was clean and comfortable. The television carried BBC World News and CNN both in English.. It was a pity the swimming pool wasn't open, particularly as the weather was warm and sunny. Apparently it doesn't open until 1st June. The mini bar in the room was very expensive. Fortunately we had only one small bottle of water and a tiny bar of chocolate which came to €11.

We had a deluxe room and it was very small, in the balcony there is no room to sit and it is very loud because of the street. The hotel does not meet nh standards.

Friendly staff and service. Good restaurant and eat all you can buffet breakfast. Relatively good value compared to similar hotels in other European cities. Good view of sea and port. Free parking for the hire car at fromt of hotel, a very useful feature. Located just outside city walls and walking distance to historic centre. Decor in corridors and our room looked a bit tired, carpets grubby in places. Swimming pool - a key feature for us - not open until 1st June for some reason. Menu in restaurant might have been changed during our stay of 12 nights. Mini Bar not always restocked each morning.

Relatively easy to park in an otherwise very congested city. More a short-stay business hotel. Caters for large business meetings (conventions) so the breakfast buffet was a bit of a battle ground!

Really helpful staff, except 1 or 2. Breakfast is excellent and overall the hotel is very clean. Location is good although not super central. Maybe 10-15min walk to the central station. Next to the hotel there is also a bus stop so it is not the end of the world. When we arrived we were given a twin room, while we booked a double. The night receptionist told us that the room will be changed in the morning as we arrived at 2am. In the morning we were told that there are no double rooms in all the hotel and all they can do is to join the beds. While we were joining the beds I realized that 1 of the beds had the wooden base broken so after another complaint they changed the room to a double room. It turned out that there were 2 top floors of double beds! There is also a very unhelpful receptionist (female). All she does is looking at the pc monitor and maybe she realizes that there is someone in front of her after 2 minutes. All the others where really helpful. The bathrooms are also in need of refurbishment.

the buffet breakfast included in the price was excellent The staff were not very welcoming. The initial bedroom we were offered was tiny, smelly and smokey. We did manage to change although there was a real language barrier.

The hotel is in the oldest part of the city, La Kalsa, and is within walking distance of many of Palermo's attractions: elaborate Baroque churches, art galleries, Teatro Massimo etc. The front of the hotel looks out over the Tyrrhenian Sea, and to one side are the botanical gardens and the Villa Guilia, a beautiful park laid out in the 18th century. NH Palermo also has its own very attractive garden and outdoor pool. What more could could one wish for. I would stay there again.

Location Bathroom old and dirty. Broken tiles in shower. Mould on tiles. Leaking toilet that was dirty. Dirty bathroom floor. Shower water temp would not stay constant making it difficult to wash. Bathroom roof dirty. Walls cracking. Room floor was dirty. Internet access via tv would cut out every 5-10 mins. Will not use this hotel chain again!!!

There is free parking possibility. The hotel is not far from the city center (~20 min on foot), close to the beach and very good accessible. The rooms are big and comfortable. There is a very good breakfirst in the hotel as well. The only thing I did not like was the lack of vegetables in the breakfirst.

The views if you get a sea view room. The spacious rooms and public areas. The swimming pool. The breakfasts (we didn't have any other meals there). Rooms without sea views. The road at the front of the hotel.

The first room was really ugly, old and cheap, less than a 3 star hotel than we complint and they gave us a more expensive room (that we had to pay 15 euro extra) but this was really a nh standard.

For the last night we had a great surprise - a big suite, which was nice! Hotel location is good, a 15 minutes walking distance from the railway/bus station and city centre, and by the sea. I stayed there first for a conference for three nights. The hotel was fully-booked and my room was old and very modest. The breakfast room was full and all food/drinks was either finished, cold or dry. Hotel staff was helpful.
