the buffet breakfast included in the price was excellent The staff were not very welcoming. The initial bedroom we were offered was tiny, smelly and smokey. We did manage to change although there was a real language barrier.

Hotel was very clean and tidy Drinks were very expensive - six euros for a small bottle of beer !! Despite having our credit card details as deposit the hotel insisted on hving both our passports on arrival which they failed to give us back. Unfortunately we didn't realise until we were at the airport. Despite ringing the hotel over 15 times no one there answered the calls. We ended up having to rely on our taxi driver sending another taxi to collect both passports at a cost of over 50 euros.

great location to the city attractions, nice accommodations. attendant in the parking lot waved me to the paid parking lot, which I did not know was not required. Could have parked in front of the hotel for free.

Relatively easy to park in an otherwise very congested city. More a short-stay business hotel. Caters for large business meetings (conventions) so the breakfast buffet was a bit of a battle ground!

Really helpful staff, except 1 or 2. Breakfast is excellent and overall the hotel is very clean. Location is good although not super central. Maybe 10-15min walk to the central station. Next to the hotel there is also a bus stop so it is not the end of the world. When we arrived we were given a twin room, while we booked a double. The night receptionist told us that the room will be changed in the morning as we arrived at 2am. In the morning we were told that there are no double rooms in all the hotel and all they can do is to join the beds. While we were joining the beds I realized that 1 of the beds had the wooden base broken so after another complaint they changed the room to a double room. It turned out that there were 2 top floors of double beds! There is also a very unhelpful receptionist (female). All she does is looking at the pc monitor and maybe she realizes that there is someone in front of her after 2 minutes. All the others where really helpful. The bathrooms are also in need of refurbishment.

The hotel is in the oldest part of the city, La Kalsa, and is within walking distance of many of Palermo's attractions: elaborate Baroque churches, art galleries, Teatro Massimo etc. The front of the hotel looks out over the Tyrrhenian Sea, and to one side are the botanical gardens and the Villa Guilia, a beautiful park laid out in the 18th century. NH Palermo also has its own very attractive garden and outdoor pool. What more could could one wish for. I would stay there again.

Breakfast was very good and the pool was suitable. The receptionists were unable to answer the most simple questions regarding concert at the Monreale church and how to get there. As a matter of fact they have assured me there will be no Mozart Requiem dedicated to the victims of 11 of September! Of course I finally found out on my own there was one! My next question was, how to get to the church. They gave me the time table for the bus and of course did not mention there is no bus service on Sundays :( No need to mention the timetable for the bus to the airport was incorrect as well.... The room was spacious, but has seen better times a couple of decades ago. The wardrobe was hardly big enough for ones clothes.

Location Bathroom old and dirty. Broken tiles in shower. Mould on tiles. Leaking toilet that was dirty. Dirty bathroom floor. Shower water temp would not stay constant making it difficult to wash. Bathroom roof dirty. Walls cracking. Room floor was dirty. Internet access via tv would cut out every 5-10 mins. Will not use this hotel chain again!!!

Get rid of the extortionist sitting out in the parking lot. One side of the street was good, the other side feared for my life.

There is free parking possibility. The hotel is not far from the city center (~20 min on foot), close to the beach and very good accessible. The rooms are big and comfortable. There is a very good breakfirst in the hotel as well. The only thing I did not like was the lack of vegetables in the breakfirst.

Expensive hotel with the service and comfort which come with. Note however that we stayed on the renovated part of the hotel. The other part (where we were initially planned) is very old and ugly so you need to book a superior not a standard room to be on the right side! Nice pool but drinks were very expensive (14 euros for a small coke and a Martini).

The views if you get a sea view room. The spacious rooms and public areas. The swimming pool. The breakfasts (we didn't have any other meals there). Rooms without sea views. The road at the front of the hotel.

The first room was really ugly, old and cheap, less than a 3 star hotel than we complint and they gave us a more expensive room (that we had to pay 15 euro extra) but this was really a nh standard.

The staff were lovely, although bedroom's were slightly dated, they were clean and comfortable. The pool was divine, the location was perfect slightly away from the city centre but beautiful view of the ocean and authentic restaurants walkable. Great trip

For the last night we had a great surprise - a big suite, which was nice! Hotel location is good, a 15 minutes walking distance from the railway/bus station and city centre, and by the sea. I stayed there first for a conference for three nights. The hotel was fully-booked and my room was old and very modest. The breakfast room was full and all food/drinks was either finished, cold or dry. Hotel staff was helpful.

Dotazioni, pulizia interna.

“The staff are exceptionally pleasant and helpful. It's srvice with a smile and you get the impression that nothing is too much to ask. With its magnificent panoramic view of the city and the surrounding mountains, breakfast on the terrace is worth the hotel cost on kits own. Also the hotel's central location, just 7 minutes' walk from the main station is very convenient.” Philip, Victoria |
