Situated in a natural setting facing Via Aurelia, the large, modern and functional Jolly Hotel Midas is strategically located only 20 minutes from Fiumicino Airport and 5 minutes from the Vatican City. The city centre is linked by a complementary shuttle bus, and parking is available free of charge.

Many areas of the hotel make staying a real pleasure for both business and leisure travellers, including the open-air swimming pool (open from June to September), the large elegant lobby, the lively American bar, the 3 restaurants, and the 344 spacious rooms, each provided with a balcony.

Ambience

Distance: though hourly drop is available, it shall be made from
different points: for example, Vatican, Colloseium, in addition to the
existing one. Most important - deducting the whole money on reservation!

Nice and pleasant pool. Rooms with balconies. Free shuttle buses to the city center

A bit far indeed from the the center despite the fact that the shuttle bus is convenient. Taxi is around 16 Euros

De kamers waren zeer verwaarloosd. De badkamer zat vol met kapotte tegels en het zwart viel bijna van de plafond. De prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding is zeker niet goed.

Shuttleservice (nicht in 5 mIn. zum Centrum-25 Minuten), der Pool (mit leider sehr rigorosen Verhaltensregeln und schlechten Öffnungszeiten)

Frühstücksbuffet meistens (Aufschnitt) nicht vollständig, keine Service am Pool,horrende Barpreise, 0,25 Fl. Bier € 6,--, unfreundl. Rezeption.

Am besten hat uns der Shuttleservice gefallen der einen fast stündlich ins nahegelegene Stadtzentrum Piazza Cavour fährt, nur 15 min. zu Fuss vom Vatikan entfernd. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfreich, wir hatten nur ein Mal pech bei einem Rezeptionist der es nicht für nötig hielt und zu erklären wie wir zu den catacombs kommen. Ganz toll war auch der riesen Supermarkt fast neben dem Hotel.

Leider hörte man jede Stunde in der Nacht die Krankenwagen und bei der Hitze musste man die Klimaanlage anlassen die allerdings sehr laut war. Das Frühstück war ok, aber auf dauer langweilig.Ganz schlimm:Es hiess das Hotel hat 3 Restaurants, es stimmt zwar das es 3 Räume gibt, aber zur Auswahl steht nur einer davon und die Preise sind unmöglich. Haben nicht ein Mal da gegessen.

Pulizia delle camere e la navetta gratuita

Ho avuto problemi a dormire poichè si sprofondava nei letti, però è un giudizio personale inquanto sono abituato a dormire su un letto duro.

Gratis en regelmatig vervoer naar centrum.

Badkamer : schimmel, gebroken tegels, deurlijst versleten, doorspoelen van de wc werkt niet, 1 dag geen warm water, afvoerstop bad werkt niet. Gang : grote stukken behang hingen los.
