- warm (even hot) rooms in December - nice and helpful personnel - clean rooms
surroundings a bit scruffy and about 40mins away from main metro station
close to autostrada
Very bud neighborhood.
Hotel Jonico was a great hotel. Michele, at the front desk, was very friendly, professional, and helpful at making sure I had everything I needed in the hotel as well as directions and suggestions around the city. He was great! The rooms were always clean and breakfast was served every morning. I would recommend this hotel.
After giving us an awful room the first night of arrival, it was nice to find that first thing when we went to reception a lady (manager I think) sorted our problem and gave us a better room with working AC etc. She seemed efficient and had good customer service unlike the rest of the male staff. Good location in terms on free bus service from near the hotel.
The staff were really unhelpful, unfriendly! Especially as we were not given the room we booked and a room without AC in 25+ degrees heat for the first night! Area is run down and the breakfast choice is very limited!
Price, parking, location.
Brekfast is very poor.
No comment. It is cheap again :)
far from city center but very good staff and facility
Everything & friendly hotel team
distance from the city centre
The receptionists were helpful and friendly. We could eat a breakfast everyday and it was included in a price. Local restaurants and bars offer a tasty, not expensive meals. Room was tidy and large enough. Really good conditions for offered price.
If you want to travel to the city centre, we wouldn't t recomend to use bus 105. It was all the time crowded and we were worried about our belongings. Instead, better to use bus 20 to Anagnina and metro A after.
Helpful staff,good breakfast Clean Room,
Far Location specially to airport, not enough public spaces for guests.
professional staff breakfast cleanliness
Breakfast was included and really delicious. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable enough and the staff were brilliant. Location aside, this hotel is definitely excellent value for money and if you're travelling on a budget and don't mind being a bit adventurous.
This is located in Rome's industrial district. It's an hour on the local bus (hot and very busy) to Roma Termini, though it is a direct and easy journey (105 between Termini and Casilina/Silicella). This wouldn't be such a pain if the area was nicer, but it's very dirty and smelly with rubbish everywhere. It is a safe area, though it doesn't look it, but I still wouldn't recommend coming back late at night.
- reception personal very gut train
- breakfast very very poor , Really economy class .
Due to our reservation via booking.com we were given the worst sleeping space in the hotel( it's not the first time when hotels are doing this, we wonder why they choose to work with booking.com at all?!) and after a nightmare in the first night ( 30-40 children left unsupervised screaming and running all over the place) we were given a better (a normal) room in the back building..no coment!
Hotel is very clean, decent and staff's are very helpfull. They are available 24/7. break fast was very good . we stayed here for two nights. we check out bit early may be arround 4.30 AM, Hotel staff gave us coffee and pastries for our travel. since we cannot have breakfast that day.
room's style, staff in general, tasty pastry, replacement assistant for breakfast at the 3rd morning, non smoking hotel, 24 hour reception desk, big room
a little bit far from the center, the lady's (assistant for breakfast at the restaurant) manners - for example se saw no cheeses and ham on the first day, but did not bring, the toilet tank was not working properly
Price Staff Safe district
Too far out Not easy access to / from the airport - only taxi which was quite expensive District is dirty - overfull bins over pavements
Hotel Jonico is an excellent option for accommodation when visiting Rome due to its price/service ratio. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and the facilities are just about right when traveling.
The location is probably the main drawback of this hotel. Despite this, the center of Rome is easily accessible by bus and the location is sufficiently quiet.
Clean and comfortable rooms, quite ok breakfest and helpful personnel.
The room was very clean and the staff very friendly.
The hotel is far from city centre, about 25 min on the tram or 40 min on the bus. The bus was always very busy.
*perfect if you are travelling with car *big room for a group of 4 *buffet breakfast *budget friendly *friendly staff
The location was terrible, in a very dodgy neighbourhood and very far from all attractions
The hotel was reasonably clean & good accommodation.
Loud noises by some clients and frequent slamming doors at night.
