Price, parking, location.
Brekfast is very poor.
No comment. It is cheap again :)
far from city center but very good staff and facility
Everything & friendly hotel team
distance from the city centre
The receptionists were helpful and friendly. We could eat a breakfast everyday and it was included in a price. Local restaurants and bars offer a tasty, not expensive meals. Room was tidy and large enough. Really good conditions for offered price.
If you want to travel to the city centre, we wouldn't t recomend to use bus 105. It was all the time crowded and we were worried about our belongings. Instead, better to use bus 20 to Anagnina and metro A after.
Helpful staff,good breakfast Clean Room,
Far Location specially to airport, not enough public spaces for guests.
professional staff breakfast cleanliness
Breakfast was included and really delicious. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable enough and the staff were brilliant. Location aside, this hotel is definitely excellent value for money and if you're travelling on a budget and don't mind being a bit adventurous.
This is located in Rome's industrial district. It's an hour on the local bus (hot and very busy) to Roma Termini, though it is a direct and easy journey (105 between Termini and Casilina/Silicella). This wouldn't be such a pain if the area was nicer, but it's very dirty and smelly with rubbish everywhere. It is a safe area, though it doesn't look it, but I still wouldn't recommend coming back late at night.
- reception personal very gut train
- breakfast very very poor , Really economy class .
Due to our reservation via booking.com we were given the worst sleeping space in the hotel( it's not the first time when hotels are doing this, we wonder why they choose to work with booking.com at all?!) and after a nightmare in the first night ( 30-40 children left unsupervised screaming and running all over the place) we were given a better (a normal) room in the back building..no coment!
Hotel is very clean, decent and staff's are very helpfull. They are available 24/7. break fast was very good . we stayed here for two nights. we check out bit early may be arround 4.30 AM, Hotel staff gave us coffee and pastries for our travel. since we cannot have breakfast that day.
room's style, staff in general, tasty pastry, replacement assistant for breakfast at the 3rd morning, non smoking hotel, 24 hour reception desk, big room
a little bit far from the center, the lady's (assistant for breakfast at the restaurant) manners - for example se saw no cheeses and ham on the first day, but did not bring, the toilet tank was not working properly
Price Staff Safe district
Too far out Not easy access to / from the airport - only taxi which was quite expensive District is dirty - overfull bins over pavements
Hotel Jonico is an excellent option for accommodation when visiting Rome due to its price/service ratio. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and the facilities are just about right when traveling.
The location is probably the main drawback of this hotel. Despite this, the center of Rome is easily accessible by bus and the location is sufficiently quiet.
Clean and comfortable rooms, quite ok breakfest and helpful personnel.
The room was very clean and the staff very friendly.
The hotel is far from city centre, about 25 min on the tram or 40 min on the bus. The bus was always very busy.
*perfect if you are travelling with car *big room for a group of 4 *buffet breakfast *budget friendly *friendly staff
The location was terrible, in a very dodgy neighbourhood and very far from all attractions
The hotel was reasonably clean & good accommodation.
Loud noises by some clients and frequent slamming doors at night.
small shower, breakfast is very poor
Wifi didn't worked in room for four days despite repeated reminders. Breakfast didn't matched even one star hotel quality.
friendly and helpful staff, nice and clean room, breakfast everyday, close to public transport, close to Ciampino Airport
a bit far from the city centre: 30-40min. by bus
10 min by car to Ciampino airport. Lady at reception is very helpful and friendly. Big room and bed. It is clean, and they change linen and towels regularly. There is a fridge - it works. Free underground parking. Close to tram and bus stations, but it takes about 30-40 min to get to Termini station - centre of Rome.
Furniture and things are worn out. Breakfasts are very poor, bad drinks - coffee, tea, juices, old croissants and cheap ham. I don't know how people eat that. We skipped all breakfasts after the first.
The receptionists are very kind and can help you whenever you want, although they some normal difficulties while speaking English. It is advisable to use a Italian phrasebook for safety. Accommodation is fairly good and the environment is calm and silent. At night, you can enjoy a small lounge area outside to chat. About Rome, you will love the Coliseum, the archeological sites and Villa Borghese. Transportation to the main places is abundant, but prepare yourself to watch over your belongings because the subway, for instance, is utterly crowded!
Hotel is quite far from the city center. Likely, this is the worst point for a review. I've used only the urban tram to get there, but it is not comfortable and it takes around 30 - 40 minutes for a one-way travel. Besides, to get the subway lines you have to walk for more a couple of minutes, since the tram terminal stays at the back of Roma Termini station. Breakfast options are simple with few selectivity. For more exigent customers, it might be a weak point. In my view, it was fair in contrast to the low cost. Wifi connexion wasn't working when I got there. One day after, it worked only in the hall and slowly. This was very bad. The shower is almost "flush" to the wall, so that you don't have a good spacing to feel the water over your body! Maybe, a flaw of engineering...
