Hotel Joyfull  

1) They know some English, so you can communicate with the staff. 2) Some of the people at the reception desk are very nice. 3) Hotel is very clean !!

1) I arrived at the Hotel at 12h00, and I only had 100 eur with me at the moment. The total price for 4 nights was 275 EURs, so I wanted to pay 100 eur upon the check-in, and then missing 175 eur in the evening. Notice that 100 eur already fully covered the first night. The guy said no. Full amount upon check-in or go away. I then spent almost an entire hour on going to the nearest atm, getting a full amount, and coming back. This behavior was totally awkward to me, because I lost time and the guy did not show any understanding, 2) Neighborhood sux !! Lots of garbage, hookers all around, and there are so many holes in the streets, that you can easily break your car!! 3) Quite a loud air-conditioning. 4) TV was turning on by itself in the middle of the night. 5) Proximity to the crowded railways. 6) No space for soap & shampoo in the shower cabin.

The decor was updated, clean and staff was helpful & friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The resturant was closed. There is a good local true Neopolitian resturant around the corner under the overpass. Tratorria da don alfonso. Great family owned & prices. Give them a try. It's very close to this nice Hotel. Also this property is close to the airport.

The area where the hotel located is not good, sometimes I even feel a little bit dangous. I even saw prostitutes staying on the street nearby.

The hotel was clean and budget-friendly, perfect for a one-night stay. We came at night so it was'nt too far from the airport, which was good.

The hotel surroundings weren't very pleasant. No fruit at breakfast.

the hotel is new, clean and very comfortable but it is located not in the centre of the city. You need 30 min to get to centre by bus or by tram. Bus stop is near the hotel (5 min) and tram is 10 min. It is better to use tram as you don't need to wait it long, max 10 min. We like to use public transport, so it was ok for us not to live in the centre but if you like to live in the centre of city you should choose other hotel. it is near the airport, just 10 min by taxi (5 km) the room is big and comfortable, has fridge value for money hotel, the cheapest price we had

the location near the hotel and streets is very dirty but hotel itself is very nice and clean. Napoli city itself is very dirty but it worth visiting. the breakfast is not very good as it contains only tea/coffee, milk, cereals, croissants and biscuits no vegetables, ham, fruits etc.

Hotel Joyful is a small oasis in a run down area of Napoli. Can't fault the hotel which is clean, tastefully decorated, has helpful friendly staff, a in-house restaurant providing straight forward food and very good value. We used it on out last night as its convenient for the airport (e16 taxi ride away) and was very pleased with our choice following concerns reading other reviews. I wouldn't recommend it as a base for sightseeing the city due to its location but does have off road parking for those with a car.

If travellers haven't been to Napoli before then arriving at the hotel might be a bit of a shock as its not in the best of areas. The city centre however also has an edge to it.

The hotel is very clean with beautiful classic interior design, it's a pleasant surprise in its surroundings, like an island of peace in such a big city as Naples. The personnel is polite and friendly, speaking English. We neded their advice about the city transport, getting to Capri and Sorrento, and we were provided with thorough info. We also liked the strong shower, sufficient amount of towels and toilettery and a full-size mirror in the room. The room window is operated by a button in the wall near the bed.

Were not very happy about breakfast (sweet Italian breakfast, but there are also musli and milk available), but good breakfast is rare in Italian budget hotels.

Close to Naples airport

Area really BAD! But we knew that going in.

The Hotel Joyful is a misnomer. Joyful it certainly isn't. An extremely dodgy location and terrible food. Although it isn't far from the airport it would probably be better staying slightly further out and staying in a better hotel in a better area.

The proximity to the airport. Nice restaurant with good food served up until 10pm.

The neighbourhood around was very scruffy & quite dangerous.

Mediocre breakfast. Good air conditioning.

We were isolated in a "ghetto." No stores or restaurants nearby. Trash and graffitti everywhere outside the hotel. The advertised hotel restaurant is closed in August, so we were not able to have a meal upon arrival. We were not about to venture out on the darkened streets. The staff made no attempt to even find us a few croissants to snack on even though they do offer breakfasdt and surely had something in the kitchen. Only think available for some drinlks and peanuts for purchase. We would have had to take another costly taxi to the port or to the center to find a restaurant, and then another costly taxi back. I would never stay in this hotel again. In fact, Naples' downtown and surrounding areas has trash piled up all over the streets, and plenty of drunks andp rostitutes near the bus routes. I've travelled in 43 countries, and Naples Italy was the worst city I've been in.

We were only in the hotel overnight because of an early morning flight from Naples. The hotel is fairly new, clean and has good aircondition. The price was very good, even though we were unable to make the most of the facilities or partake in the free breakfast, due to the early morning flight. We would only recommend the hotel, (because of the dodgy area) if you need a cheap overnight stay!

The hotel is in a horrible, filthy and very dodgy area. We certainly wouldn't have wanted to leave the comfort of the hotel once we arrived. The hotel airport transfer has a surcharge of 16 euros and was a taxi ride with a very grumpy driver.

We love Naples, but the location of Hotel Joyfull is not for the feint of heart. It is a sophisticated refuge in a tough urban neighborhood. We chose it because it is inexpensive and a 16 euro tax ride from the airport. The entire interior is sleek and clean. The hotel staff was not as patient or welcoming as many we have met, but arranged to have a taxi waiting at the curb for us at 4:00 in the A.M. a great place for just what we needed; an inexpensive, comfortable and convenient place to spend a night before heading off to the airport in the morning.

Good value hotel excellent rooms good size and cleaned every day. Good cold air con and fridge. Great shower.

Breakfast was not that good nothing fresh all packets, toast, croissants and biscuits. With jam. Cereals and milk plus tea, coffee or juice all from vending machines. Location was not to bad we realised it was away from centre, 10 mins walk to either tram or train and only a very short journey in to Garibaldi, but was very dirty and smelly walk past rubbish dumped almost all along the way.

I liked the big spacious rooms and clean bathroom. The price for such a room was fantastic, especially as a solo traveller.

They could offer more of a selection for their buffet breakfast, it consisted mainly of croissants and cereal. The shower had issues which didn't drain the water quick enough and filled up the bottom of the shower. Otherwise, not a bad place to be.

The hotel is really nice, much better than we thought it would be. The receptionist was really nice, and he was also our waiter at dinner!! The food was good, there were lots of courses!, And water & wine were included in the price! The rooms were very comfortable & spotlessly clean.

The area wasn't very nice, I wouldn't have wanted to venture out alone, it was very rundown

We stayed with friends in Joyfull hotel unfortunately for just one night. Hotel is great, new and very comfortable. Rooms and bathrooms are big and clean. Breakfast was continental. Just that. Neighborhood is peaceful and quiet despite of the nearness of railway track. From the hotel to the center of Naples (Napoli) is only 1,5 km.

Uitstekend gelegen 15 min (per taxi 20E) van vliegveld. Goedkoop en toch zeer verzorgd. Excellent location 15 mins (by taxi 20E) from airport. Budget price but excellent quality.

Ανακαινισμένο,καθαρό, άνετο, κοντά στο αεροδρόμιο, σχετικά κοντά στο μετρό.

Περιοχή πολύ υποβαθμισμένη.προσωπικό μάλλον υπερβολικά "επαγγελματικό".μας ζητήθηκε να προκαταβάλλουμε το ποσό της διαμονής μας, σαν να ήμασταν κλέφτες.το πάρκινγκ στο υπόγειο υπερβολικά μικρό και στενάχωρο για 15 ευρώ.

Cena za garaż15€,ale nie trzeba brać ,okolica slamsowata,strach wychodzić ,ale może takie wrażenie ,ja bałem się zostawić motocykl na parkingu hotelowym,darmowym,niestrzeżonym.brak widoków z okien.
