Just a 5-minute walk from the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, Hotel De Petris offers elegant rooms in central Rome, and a spacious terrace with views of Rome’s sights.

Casa Santa Sofia is in a lively square in Rome’s Monti area, full of bars and restaurants and just over a quarter mile from the Colosseum. It has free Wi-Fi throughout.
Score from 982 reviews Very good
great location, kind and helpful staff, great value for price, electric kettle, good, controllable heat, good and plentiful towels, quiet despite central location, would happily come back
electric kettle had no automatic shut-off (dangerous), lack of good electric outlets, toilet hard to flush (typical old Italian building), typical Italian breakfast, musty smell on ground floor, bleach smell in bathroom
Loved the fact that it is a small and quietly situated hotel. The staff throughout my stay were very friendly and so helpful with advice to as a tourist. One or two excellent tips too, and I thoroughly recommend it to other travellers
There was absolutely nothing I disliked.
Staff was excellent. Very accommodating and spoke English well.
Woke up with numerous bedbug bites on last day of visit (Room 206).
Location was good.
Kitchen facilities were ultra basic. Nothing to dry dishes and No dishwasher powder supplied. Towels were very, very, very thin that one ended up with a hole in it after being used. Apartment had a very musty odour to it. There was left over salad, onion, cheeses and opened dips left in the fridge from the previous guests which was also a bit of a turn off. Washing machine in apt but no drying facilties or clothes airer available. There were 2 split systems but only one worked and the shower was the smallest shower recess EVER!
Breakfast was good with several types of ham and salami, cheese, eggs and various pastries. A nice addition is a cappucino or espresso that you can order free of charge with your breakfast. Room was spacious and clean, bed comfortable, coffee making facilities with complimentary tea bags. Most of the staff were extremely helpful and kind. All in all, a great value for money.
Elevator was smelly, wi-fi kept disconnecting. A toaster in the breakfast room would be nice to have.
the location, quiet narrow street, friendly staff
not change the towels for three days
you can walk 5 min to historical places. Has very kindly and helpful staff
Good location, good breakfast, good staff, clean room
Wi-fi might have been a little better
No sun light in the room uncomfortable beds bad smell in the elevator
Staff, especially in the dining room and the cleaners. Most of the desk clerks were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite good. The location is excellent. I chose the lower tier of rooms, so got what I paid for.
Hotel Julia seems to have two tiers of rooms. I chose the cheaper tier, and got what I paid for. The bathroom was very shabby. I would not want to stay there in the summer, as the top floor would be very hot. the room is kind of shabby and you could hear everything next door. But it was pretty cheap!
Excellent location, very nice staff, nice breakfast and delicious capuccino in the morning
Very good opcion to the main haus:supirior room in the anex .The same price, but much more comfort. It's just next door, very quiet.
Too small breakfast room.
Staff and a breakfast was very good!
The location The 2 amazing restaurants at a 2 min walk The supermarket at a 3 min walk The metro at 2 min walk The bus stop at 3 min walk Quiet hotel Sharing a bathroom was no problem
Few options at breakfast Pillows pretty hard Low personal contact with employees
Location is good
Very small room Wrong info from the staff regarding the international call rate Poor customer service
Location near Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps. Walking distance to everything. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Breakfast very good. Nice capuccino.
Some of the staff were not overly friendly even on the grumpy side....
Very noisy - can hear when people are talking in the other rooms. Small rooms. Really bad bed. Not much natural light in the room. The internet was so slow that I could not use my work computer and open emails - they had to restart the internet twice.
The location is excellent because it is not too close to the main touristic places and it is a quite street.
The wi-fi works slowly and sometimes did and sometimes it did not. They forgot to bring more toilet paper to the room after cleaning. The breakfast could be better.
Excellent location, we walked everywhere. Staff was very helpful. Great breakfast. I would highly recommend
Big comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff, very nice location for the cost close to Trevi fountain and right next to Barberini square and the metro/buses.
The location was ideal - within easy walking distance to Trevi Fountain, The Spanish Steps, Colosseum, Piazza Navona, etc with Barberini Station just around the corner. Vatican City is just 4 stops away and Termini station two stops in the other direction. Plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
Location was excellent. Staff were pleasant and mostly helpful.
Room was very cramped but space is a premium in Rome anyway. I think the check-in/check-out times could be improved. Especially check-out : at 10.30am, that's very early.
Close to the center of the city.....nice old street location...
The room was so small, there was no shared bathroom, the second bedroom the mattress was not what was expected, but the staff was accomoding us changing to another room, the neatness of the breakfast room table is much to desire, the set were being used again for multipe clients, only one cappuccino per client, would be nice to get two.
