Size of room, cleanliness of room and ensuite and the friendliness of staff
The breakfast buffet was good but sometimes the tablecloths were a bit grubby. Maybe glass tops over the cloths may help
excellent location spacious room
low wi-fi not enough hot water to take a shower (just enough for 2 !)
Very early check-out
The location, the very kind and helpful staff, the room, everything.
Had an amazing time in Rome and the kindness of the staff in the Hotel and its localisation made my stay even better than I expected.
Hotel is on a perfect location, near everyrhing. Rooms are really nice and clean. Breakfast is free and really good! Hotel stuff is polite and very helpful!! Looking forward to come back one day!
BnB near metro stop, so easy to get around. Very friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent, good value for money...
Amazing location, very good staff, included breakfast, pretty clean and a decent wifi
Sound can be a bit of a problem but it really wasn't a big deal.
Great location, whole Rome within walking distance, good breakfast
Air conditioning was broken, noisy street
space and comfort of apartment; option of self-catering as eating out in Rome everyday is very expensive. Washing machine was a bonus.
Not enough utensils in kitchenette - especially knives, forks and spoons.
Very friendly atmosphere, very nice personnel. Good breakfast.
Location very good. Large room with interesting decor in a seperate building. Waterboiler, fridge and safe. Good bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful.
good value for money
I really liked the service and the hotel location.
Definitely the toilet system. The washing up our "outcomes" process was not good. I don't know if that was only in our room though.
The room was small and poky there was no air con in the room. No tea and coffee facilities. When having a shower the tray filled up with water and did not drain away.
Close to ancient rome & Vatican. close to restaurants and shopping.
other than day staff no English spoken. shower was hot or cold no in between poor nozzle. take metro to Vatican staff said use bus but slow. hold on to your wallets all the time in rome!
The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very nice and healpful. The location was ideal. Breakfast was very good.
An elegant small hotel, worth for the payment. If you search for a good typical style hotel in the center (barberini), can recommend as a good medium level hotel.
The staff was great and always greeted me with a smile. Tickets to all the main touristy areas can be purchased from the front desk and they are extremely helpful with showing you all the awesome places to visit in Rome. The free breakfast was good and basic. All fairly basic and nothing that needed to get cooked (sliced bread, cold-cut meat, cheese, cereal, etc.). One free cappuccino with every meal. Location was amazing. Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps were minutes from Hotel Julia, and I never felt like I had to take public transportation anywhere. The Vatican was a lengthy but enjoyable walk and could be there in less than 30 minutes.
I was placed on the second floor and although Wifi connected well, it was extremely slow. I think this was more due to the number of people connected to the service more than anything. The room was very small. It felt a little bigger than a big walk-in closer, but I couldn't complain for the price. There was no personal shower and the shared shower did not drain very well. Would definitely not use it without a pair of shower slippers. Not much of a night life around the area. Not very close to the Colosseum, but there's enough around Hotel Julia to keep you occupied.
Fantastic location with very helpful staff, felt very welcome from the minute we arrived. Plentiful breakfast options each morning and room was cleaned with towels changed daily.
Bedding was uncomfortable and child-sized. Very thin walls!
The staff was friendly and very helpful. Paolo at the front desk helped us with all we needed throughout our stay and also draw on the map for us the way to visit a few things we have missed and are worth seeing before we live Rome. They are very careful with details. For example the fridge in the room had diet coke but after ordering regular coke once, they restock it with regular coke. That saved us a few trips downstairs and I was real surprised they noticed and made the change without having to ask. The hotel is within walking distance to many attractions and there are a few good restaurants nearby. The bathroom is tiny. Literally. The shower cabin is no more than 3ft by 2.5ft - I measured it, but it didn't bother us. All older hotels are small and I wouldn't pass on a great location and a hotel with character because of that. The breakfast was diverse and plenty, the coffee was great and the staff was there to assist us with all requests we might have. Great stay overall and I would definitely stay there again.
The staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast person was very accomodating and efficient.
The shared shower did not drain properly and so the shower base was always flooded.
The staff was helpful. The breakfast was enough.Close to barberini metro station.(5 min walk) and fontana di trevi.
