The historic city of Salerno has many historical and cultural attractions for you to visit, including:

- Palazzo D'Avossa: Dating back to the 17th century, the palace displays frescoes inspired by Torquato Tasso's Gerusalemme liberata.
- Schola Medica Salernitana: The oldest university in Europe, it was the most important source of medical knowledge in Europe in the early Middle Ages.
- St. George's church: Displaying Baroque architecture from the late 17th century, it houses frescoes by Francesco and Angelo Solimena.

By car:

From the North:
- Take the A1 (E45) motorway, Milano - Napoli.
- Join the A30 motorway, Caserta – Salerno.
- Follow signs for Salerno Centre – Tangenziale.
- At the stop sign, turn left.
- Drive towards Tangenziale, in the direction of Pontecagnano.
- Follow signs for Mariconda.
- Follow the signs to the centre of Salerno, along via Parmenide and via Trento (just go straight on).
- Turn left into Via Francesco Antonio Ventimiglia.
- Turn left again into via Madonna di Fatima.
- The hotel is in via Donato Somma 47.

From the South:
- Take the A3 motorway, Salerno - Reggio Calabria.
- Follow signs for Pontecagnano.
- Drive into the Tangenziale, in direction of Fratte.
- Follow signs for Mariconda.
- Follow the signs to the centre of Salerno, along via Parmenide and via Trento (just go straight on).
- Turn left into Via Francesco Antonio Ventimiglia.
- Turn left again into via Madonna di Fatima.
- The hotel is in via Donato Somma, 47.

From Capodichino Airport, Naples:
- Take a fast local bus, Alibus, by ANM.
- Stop at the Central railway station in Garibaldi Square (Naples).
- Take the train to Salerno.
- Exit the station and go straight along via Mauro till Lungomare Tafuri (about 120 metres walking).
- Take a CSTP local bus. Numbers 5, 6 or 8.
- Stop in Pastena – Lungomare C. Colombo (about 10 minutes).
- The hotel is in via Donato Somma 47.
