Katane Palace Hotel  

The hotel is delivering what is promised in the description. It has rather good location for both - city tour and business purposes. The hotel provides city map and it is easy to find Katane Palace Hotel, if you decide to walk around city. Wi-Fi was working without any problems and it is for free.

The facade of the hotel does not give any indication that this is 4 star hotel, which is good for business travelers. Such facade could be also for 2 star hotels. On the other side, the interior is OK.

It was centrally located most things were just a walk away, Hotel staff very helpful, complementary water and minerals in our room everyday, beautiful breakfeast. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

This hotel is quite elegant, and has an exceptionally good breakfast and a free mini-bar in the room. The room was very comfortable and the shower was great. The staff at the front desk were very helpful with all sorts of things.

The restaurant was very pricey and the service was slow, although we were thankful it was there because it was unclear whether there were others in the neighborhood. Catania doesn't seem like the best place to walk around at night hunting for a place to eat.

Good value for money; good facilities; excelent breakfast

The hotel staff needs to improve English. Everybody is very nice and friendly, but you can barely have a proper conversation. We found difficult to explain basic things and the answers we got were difficult to understand. Eg: reception could not help us with rent a car although it was advertised everywhere, they have parking facilities, but making yourself understood by the valet is almost imposible, we could not arrange airport pick up at arrival because nobody was able to answer our emails.

The staff was very cooperative. The breakfast was very good. It is located quite centrally and it is easy to get around by foot. I was allowed an early check-in despite not making a request in advance and the hotel staff were very accommodative. The temperature in the room too was very comfortable.

The Wifi was not working in my room for one full day when I checked and I had to go to the lobby area to use it. Though the front desk offered me two other rooms, it was not working in the whole of that wing. Subsequently, it was working for the rest of my stay.

The openness and the many options for places in the hotel to use for reading, working, talking.

The hotel felt a bit old and worn out.

Friendly staff good food at reasomable prices. Helpfull on organising trips and giving directions to other places.

The location of the hotel is close to the main shopping areas of Catania. Reception staff were friendly and efficient. Room was spacious and clean.

Car parking was limited and very tight to access, Breakfast staff were not so good - talking on mobile phone while clearing tables, etc. Web site had the wrong address for our gps, and the staff seemed disinterested about the situation.

Very good location, friendly staff, very good restaurant

It was okay, for the Flash Deal price I got through this website. Breakfast was pretty good compared to other places we've stayed in Italy. Hot eggs that weren't runny! Location is fine. Some reviewers complain about the street seeming a little unsafe. Not so. I actually live outside of Catania, make trips to the city frequently, and there's nothing wrong with this area.

Room was large, but had a cold feel - kind of stale. Only one extra pillow and a blanket that looked kind of scary. I was able to control the room temp, so that was a plus.
