Location was excellent. Relaxed atmosphere felt like staying with a relative. Simple and excellent value.
the owners are charming and accommodating, going out of their way to make you feel comfortable.
location: convenient Katti restaurant: 10% discount for Katti hotel's customer
Towel: not neat
Room and linen were very clean. Good location for sightseeing
Although Booking.com state that you will pay at the hotel this was not the case and the money was taken from my credit card which is advertised as guarantee only. Reception is in one place but rooms are a couple of streets away and you need to be taken to them. There is therefore no reception at the hotel The building is more like an office block, certainly doesn't look like a hotel. Pictures on Booking.com do not match the rooms. Breakfast is served at your table and there is no choice other than take it or leave it. Breakfast offered is very basic
Near nice stores & restaurants , walking distance to train station
Superb central location for all sights and amenities. Maria is very accommodating and could not have been more helpful.
very hard to communicate. everyone else paid a lot less than we did, we booked online. bed uncomfortable no wifi no help at front desk do not stay here!!!!!! awful
Lovely people very friendly and helpful beautifully clean.
Stayed at Katti 2 and there was work going on in the flats behind so it was noisy in the mornings.
The hotel is very old, around 400 years, and so it's not all mod cons. But it's charming, comfortable and the people are absolutely delightful. We loved it.
The only thing we didn't like was that at night the street noise can make it hard to sleep...there is no traffic, just human chatter, laughter and then general cleaning up noises, which start off being really charming but end up preventing you sleeping at all! So after October, when the windows can be closed, there would be no problem!
Great location. Mikaela, preparing breakfast was very helpful and congenial. We would stay again.
We were at Katti II, so there was no easy contact with management. Noisy at times. AC control not available in every room. If you are looking for luxury this is not for you.
Michele (staff) was very nice
Bad building, no Reception, no A/C, The building smells bad. This is rent a room not a hotel. You can do better for the price. Pictures don't match the rooms. They are greedy and want only your money. The owner has an attitude so don't dare to criticize anything You can find better places for the same price.
If I didn't know better I would say that she tried to charge us twice by "not being too sure" if the room was paid for upfront. I have seen a comment about Katie before on this exact practice.
Location was good being close to the market.
They overbooked themselves and so therefore the first night we didn't have a room at the Katti House. They got us a room across the street at a different place for the first night. Then we had to pack everything up and move back across to the Katti House. Not cool. When I booked the room I knew there would be a shared bathroom. What we weren't expecting was the fact that we'd have to walk through the breakfast area where everyone is eating in order to get to the bathroom or shower. The people who own it and manage the B&B speak zero English. So communication was difficult. However they did the best they could to help us and even called a place for us so we could find our cooking class that we were participating in.
Good location. Wonderful breakfasts. Comfortable rooms with nice baths.
We were in their annex which was nice but far from the main hotel and had no staff present to help or answer questions. We had not expected this.
BAD service from the staff. POOR connection to the internet. Very strange when you arrive because they take you to another place, i mean, the reception is not in the same place as the rooms are. NO FREE cancelation. NO WORTH A PENNY.
Great location Friendly service Clean
Difficult to control room temperature during the summer months, maybe better in winter? No control over the air conditioning and no fan in the room. Open windows exposes very loud street noise. Internet connection is very unstable.
Was at a remote location in a strange area ..
Best location you can find in Florence! A morning open buffet breakfast with a choice of coffee, cappuccino or chocolate. Good WiFi signal. The owner is super nice and very helpful. The location is close to metro station, downtown and every meeting point. It was very convenient for us. Would definitely book again.
Convinient location, with laundary and restaurants
location is good！ the host r nice！
wifi is not good！
Location near train station and close to all major tourist attractions. It is clean, has air conditioning and wifi functions. Staff is very warm and welcoming. It is a bed and breakfast place, so no 24 hr staffed front desk. I arrived at 7am and had to wake up the house resident to check in my luggage, which they helped out a lot. But I would recommend contacting them first if you plan to arrive early.
Only the location is good
It is noisy because it is with so many other apt Kids was crying and morning they where playing in the entrance of the building so a lot of noise was there
Location, that's all
We had asked to check our bags early so that we could start sight seeing and were allowed to check into our room even before noon. Room was large, quiet, and clean. Breakfast was pretty basic but okay.
Shower temperature was warm at best. Towels were pretty rough and the pillows were extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. No Wi-Fi signal in our room or building that we could find. Barely much signal in the breakfast room standing near the router.
