Room and staff were excellent. A island of tranquility.....

I had a major culture shock in Palermo after spending three weeks in a small village in Korcula Island Croatia. The noise and traffic of Palermo was almost too much

Nice place slightly, spacious rooms, modern design.

Slightly hard to find, on a small backstreet.

This bed and breakfast is really nicely renovated and everything feels clean and modern. The owner Sergio is very service minded and helps with local tips. There is a super cosy inner yard where you can relax with a cup of coffee and a magazine. The b&b is well situated and you are not at all disturbed by the business of Palermo. Overall very good value for money.

Very lovely remodel of old building with very nice room and bath. Safe due to excellent lock system and lighting and next to police station. Breakfast very nice. Very nice hosts! Easy location to walk to various points of interest and ocean nearby.

When you approach itis hard to find and is a bit offputting surroundings in an alley, however once in facility right near free parking next to police station all is great.

Real Italy outside! Boys play football at 11 PM... and start from 7-15 AM... Mom's voice in same time... Canary sings... Sergio is the best!

The B&B is in the middle of the nice Kalsa quarter, you can reach most monuments or by walking or by bus (taking into account the chaotic Palermo traffic and consequent efficiency of public transport). The owner, Sergio, is very kind and helpful, for breakfast you will find cakes made by his mother, excellent. You can reach the structure walking from the central station, but at night, at least if you are alone, it is not necessarily recommanded, during the day no problem; since the place is not so easy to find, take care to print a very detailed map, but local people will always help you readily. I would also recommand to try to book a double room, because I first had a double room and then a single room, the first one had a decisevely better matress, if you suffer from back problems, it might be convenient. Anyhow, I would always go back there. Enjoy your stay!

Khalisah (which means Palermo, in arabic) is a very cosy, comfortable, pleasantly designed place, with high-tech bathrooms and abundant breakfast, where you can feel in every detail, in every corner the care of the owner-architect Sergio, who welcomes you and overwhelms you with advices about what to visit or where to go out. The bread and breakfast is close to the port, in the old city center, close to nightlife area, placed in a typical little Palermo narrow street, behind the beautiful park Piazza Marina, cornered by palaces ( the buses to the coastline villages start from here, by the way) . I would fully advice you to book a room at Khalisah !
