Leaving - the hotel was meant to have a 'Junior suite - which we had booked! What we were given was like a double room!! Was not impressed! I was taking my Faince away for a break after i've been away to Afghanistan for 6 months and she had been looking after our young son. We were so disappointed with the cost of the hotel and the lack of facilities that it had! We were put off completely and really disappointed with the hotel and the room that we were given and the booking through yourselves. We will not book again with booking.com to go on holiday as the pictures and the facilities were not as stated on your website and we feel completely let down with the holiday and its accomodation due to booking with booking.com. The room we booked was a Junior suite and what we were given was a double room - it states that the suites are on two levels with a two person jacuzzi - we were given a standard room and a one person bath!! We were then moved to another room which was smaller and had a two person jacuzzi - this was still not what we thought we were getting! I was looking forward to treating my fiance away to a lovely relaxed long weekend with the highest quality of room accomodation and serivice and we were both extremely disappointed with our break away. We paid a lot of money 775Euro for a 3 nights stay and was really looking forward to our break but have been really let down by youselves with regards to your description and the quality for what we paid for the trip.

Resturant is nice. Food and service is good. On reception manager hates russians - i am russian - he told me this. He was very impolite. We was two nights without elactrisity in sockets - they just told, that it is our proplems and did nothing to solve this problem. I should say we was shocked. Finally we changed hotel.

Location was great. Newly furnished rooms of good standard. Cleaning staff kept trying to add mini bar items to my bill despite no mini bar usage. Happened 3 times during my 8 day stay.

I chose this hotel based on its location and the fact that it had a garden, I was not disappointed - it has a fabulous location, our bedroom overlooked the Palatino, and the street was quiet. The courtyard garden was beautiful and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The quadruple family room we stayed in was perfect, beds comfortable, even for 2 adults, and 2 sons aged 14 & 10

Very helpful stafff + spacious room very convenient for family + extremely clean + wonderful location. The breakfast can be better (limited choices, same selection every day). Need for more TV channels especially for families who usually stay in the room in the evening

Location was very good, easy walking distance to many tourist sites. Hotel staff was polite, friendly and helpful. Our junior studio room didn't have any tea or coffee making facilities. Towel and bed linen were poor quality for 4 star hotel. Bathroom was functional but very small. Daily cleaning should be improved.

We went for a short stay in Rome and were intentioned to visit only the ancient Rome part. The location of the hotel has been crucial because we were in front of it. We could breath the "ancient Rome" air, see the suset over the ruins. The area was very quiet with very nice restaurants at walking distance. The room was very comfortable and clean.

The hotel is very well located just in the middle of the city and you can access most of the sites by foot. It is elegant, very clean and quiet. The service is discret but efficient. Staff is very polite, accommodating for any matter. Very confortable after a day of long march. The food is excellent Considering the quality (high in standard) of the hotel and the price I will definitely recommend that hotel to anaybody going to Rome.

Brilliant location at the back of Capitoline Hill and int he shadow of Palatine Hill. Great for sightseeing - The Colosseum, Forum, Capitoline Hill & Palatine Hill are all very close by. Also, you can get to the main shopping street - Corso in 10 mins. The hotel restaurant & room service was extremely expensive.

the location of the hotel: middle in the center (Palantine / Forum), but still tranquile (inner rest due to nice garden). Breakfast is for Italian standards very good: juice and coffee are at standard, variety of the buffet above standard Family room (junior suite) is spacious. Staff is helpful and friendly If the hotel is overbooked, they try to put you in a smaller room. First we were put in a <20 sqm room with 4 individual beds. Definetely bed 3 and 4 were quickly installed to accomodate 4 persons! The reception claimed this was a junior suite, which definetly wasn't (and surely not for that price). Immediately they offered a 20% discount! After 15 minutes complaining we were given a correct room > 30sqm. (and probably the problem shifted towards the next guests...). So if you book, always specifically ask for the exact size (sqm) and a description.

The location of the Kolbe Hotel was perfect for us and our room overlooked the ruins of the Forum. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A very comfortable hotel. The breakfast was the same each day and so was the evening meal. There needs to be a little more variety.

Good location on quiet street close to some of main attractions eg colosseum.Nice garden although weather not that good when we were there.Near to circus maximus bus stops. The "hot" food at breakfast was only ever lukewarm/cold. Beds were very hard, which was ok if that's how you like them. Staff not very helpful in organising taxi or bus info to the airport as they were keen to push their hotel service to the airport which is 50 euros. Didn't think it was very good value for money overall.
