It is unusual to find a hotel with a large garden, parking lot, and swimming pool less than half a mile from the Duomo. Hotel Royal gives you this and more.
Score from 346 reviews Good 7.7/10
Reasonably close to the station
In general, the services of the hotel are of a good standard and the location is excellent.
The quality of the food in the Terrace Restaurant (for dinner) could be improved considering the price.
Staff were very friendly and efficient. breakfast was excellent, views from the terrace were fantastic. Ten minute walk from the centre
Size of the pool
Location, view from the roof terasse is just stunning .
The staff were very friendly and attentive.
I booked this hotel because it had a rooftop swimming pool so for my daughter I wanted to have that facility. The condition of the swimming pool and the immediate surrounding area was so poor I would not have washed my car in it let alone allow my daughter in it. Also the cleanliness around the kitchen area was extremely poor and I'm glad we did not eat dinner there. Breakfast was included but you then had to pay 2euros to have a fresh orange juice. Definitely not worth the money.
From check in to check out the Hotel Kraft experience was a delight. A short walk from Florence's main attractions and a breath away from the Arno this hotel has a fine restaurant, a breathtaking terrace and a small roof top pool providing fine vistas at every turn. The multilingual staff are warm, efficient and we'll informed. I am counting the days until my next stay.
The 5th floor terrace provide a nice opportunity for a great view over Florence' roof tops. The dinner was actually quite nice. The staff at the reception (the two ladies) were very lovely and helpful.
The room I had had the worst lighting (white neons). U'd better use your computer screen if u want to get ambient light. The noise of people talking in corridors or slamming doors tends to be quite annoying if u are a light sleeper. The little balcony could do with a bit of cleaning. The breakfast is average. This place really need some renovations (especially around the pool).
Clean, comfortable and hospitable. Helpful staff.
I love the view from the roof bar. swimming pool quite small, but generally very nice place
Amazing view from terrace, the pool was a great option to refresh after a long days walking under the sun.
Our bed was awful, you could fill the springs! And made a cracking noise with every movement, not the kind of bed you expect from a 4 star hotel
What a fantastic view of the city from the terrace - a really great place to sit back and relax after a day of exploring Florence.
The hotel is very nice and the staff friendly and helpful in every way. We upgraded to a superior room as for a 1 week stay the standard room would have been a little cramped but fie for a 1 or 2 night stay.
Would have preferred pasteurised milk for my coffee at breakfast
Staff friendly and highly efficient, good quality breakfast, roof terrace bar, room comfort, valet parking
Good location, comfortable, clean rooms. rooftop is lovely for drinks with fabulous view of the city.
Rooftop pool is tiny and long overdue some renovation. Very few loungers and some other outdoor seating meaning it is hard to get space around the pool. Not surprising given you are in the centre of a city but don't make the mistake we did and think you are getting a hotel that combines the chance to explore the city and enjoy pool time. Pick a cheaper hotel closer in and forget the pool.
Great location, small pool a bonus, rooftop terrace and views of Florence superb and Roberto was extremely welcoming and a great asset to the hotel.
Cover charge to sit for drinks at the terrace. Wouldn't expect to pay this as a guest of the hotel.
goog breakfast room
no parking, but this is everywhere in Firenze
A good place to base yourself for sightseeing in Florence. Excellent room and roof top bar. Staff helpful and attentive.
Food selection on restaurant menu very limited.
A Four star hotel located next to the Arno river, in easy walking distance to the historic centre. Staff was friendly and helpful, car parking services were good and came handy. Breakfast and rooms were enjoyable.
The rooftop restaurant was excellent.
The only thing that went against the hotel was the swimming pool. The picture is a little misleading, as its very small and needs some maintenance.
Roof top terrace bar. Meal on roof as the sun goes down. Location - walking distance to centre of city.
The restaurant staff on the roof terras were very friendly and the food was good. The view on the Dom is very nice at night.
Rooms were not cleaned by 15:00. Staff that parked the car in the nearby garage messed up the anti-car-jacking system although I gave the right instructions. We lost an hour before we could leave the hotel.
The staff was courteous. The hotel is clean and tidy. Relative large room with a balcony. The hotel is located in a quiet place. There is car parking arrangement (20 euros a night). The dining room is located on the rooftop with spectacular view on parts of the city. Excellent breakfast.
Nice room, nice view from the rooftop, good wifi, good bar and restaurant at night.
The breakfast could have been better, especially the eggs and cold cuts.
It was a beautiful hotel with exceptional amenities.
The location is not the most convenient. Having been to Florence multiple times before I liked the fact that the hotel is located outside of the hectic city center. And Florence is so small that I could still easily walk to everything. So, the location isn't necessarily inconvenient, but some travelers might prefer a hotel closer to the heart of things.
great hotel with lots of charme and in a great quiet location. Pool on the roof top and bar is amazing!
