We had a nice stay in Hotel Kriss. The most important things were efficient air-conditioning and clean room: cleaning lady made a bed and changed towels every day. Breakfast was really simple but what was nice there was no need to find a breakfast place for first thing in the morning. But it was weird that they offered cereals as a part of breakfast but there were no cups for that and if you asked you got a cup but not milk. Maybe milk should be asked separately if liked, I don´t know. Otherwise the staff was helpful and nice. Walls were thin and couple of nights we had very laud laughing neighbours that it was hard to sleep. (I can´t understand why someone would come to Rome for be awake at nights in hotel room!!) Metro was nearby and buses operates all the time although we often went to the city by foot. Good price.

The hotel is near the metro (policlinico station), the room was clean. Very good value for money. Polite staff. The walls were very thin so you could hear the noise in the other rooms. Breakfast was a little poor (typical for the hotels in Italy). No working elevator.

The only positive about this hotel was theproximity to the Metro There are so many things wrong with this Hotel. Firstly we booked a double and got 2 singles which would not normally be an issue apart from they were different heights and comforts (uncomfortable and extremely uncomfortable), the walls are paper thin, one of the key reasons for booking the hotel was AC, which they have, they just don't work at all and finally the breakfast was terrible. We only tried it once and went out for breakfast every other day.

Polite staff, fairly clean room and bathroom. Metro station near by. If this is a 3 star hotel I am Julius Ceasar...It is located in an alley, on the first floor of a bad maintained bulding. The building is also used as resident. The elevator is not for use for the customers of the hotel, only the residents of the bulding. The "lobby" is 10m2 and is where the poor breakfast is also served. Generally the looks and the interior of the hotel is like a cheap motel where you rent the room by the hour. I know that Rome is expensive for accomondation, but this hotel is no way worth the money you pay.

Hotel has a good location close to metro, so it takes around 15 minutes to get to centre. It's nicely clean place, staff is helpful even if the English is not the best one. Room was practically furnished and with air-condition. It's really great service for the price and I would choose it again. The only disadvantage is small shower. Also do not expect a big breakfast as you get only a croissant with coffee or tea, but this is a common breakfast in Italy, so you save some space for delicious Italian cuisine.

Situated close to the metro, only two stops from Termini. Affordable with decent standard. Grumpy night shift employee, minor leakage in bathroom, cold rooms with no working heating (early March). Previously mentioned night shift employee failed to find the A/C remote control - which was lying in the corresponding key shelf behind the counter...

The things i liked are that it was close to the metro station and the cleaness of the room. I didn't like the towels (there were kitchen towels not bath towels), the elevetor does not work, the breakfest was too poor.

Cheap, clean and their staff were nice. They didn't require our documents but only the conformation letter, which was really surprising. The place is hard to find and the electricity was on and off every morning, so was the hot water. In the morning & at night, it was noisy because the walls were thin, you can join the chat next door if you understand their language!

Room was clean and after renovation. Furniture and bathroom were new. It was really nice stay. The hotel is worth recommending. Room was on the 4 th floor. The elevator is very small and slow. It is faster to go by foot.

Staff helpful. Early check-in and making use of their room to clean up. Free room upgrade - because they hv no more room. Stairs too steep - lift was not working for quite some time. No one helps to carry the luggage. The access to the main entrance was blocked by cars parked all the way to the door. Location not so easy to find.

I like the location is not far from the metro The hotel is very noicy , the first night we could not sleep because of the of a few people. The first night we could not take a shower because there was no hot water. The third morning we got just a biscuit and a croissant, there was no cerial or someting like that, it was finished. The first day was terrible, the next morning we changed room, we got a room on 4th floor. Actually we was planning to leave the hotel, but the hotel manager told us that it was not possible to do that, because they can not return me the monney. our stay in the hotel was not so nice, actually bookonig.com must return us the money for at last one night. I have travel a lot over the world but KRISS is not a 3 star hotel, may be 1 star.

There isn't a thing that I liked. The staff at the reception and breakfast were appaling, to the point of being absolutely rude. They had not a clue about what politness is. They certainly should not be in the service industry, particularly the only male person in the reception that speaks a little English and prouds himself of doing that job for 20 years ! Dear me... The Hotel is a 3 star... Ok, then I am Julius Ceaser! It is not a 3 star... Not here, not even in Alice Wonderland! The entrance of the Hotel is in a alley at the back of a bulding next to a car parking garage; there is a one person lift that does not work (I tryed) or seems to work from the 2nd to the 4th floor, never stopping in between (according to the staff).3 Girl's guests had to carry their luggage 4 floors without any help, so they told us at the breakfast. The breakfast was poor. In all, never want to stay there again and certainly I will tell everybody about the staff's attitude and rudness!

The hotel is quite near to the metro station. 24 hours reception. Location again. The hotel is located in the small small street. If you don't really try to look for the hotel, you will never find it. The surroundings look a bit dangerous for solo traveller. It would be ok only for group travellers. Towels provided are table mats. Staffs are unlikely to speak English.

“First of all, the owner of this b&b deserves an a+ for his cordial personality, shared knowledge of Rome and some of its travel nuances, and for being a customer-oriented problem solver. The room was large, the bathroom was one of the largest ones we've had in the past year, and everything worked, thankfully including the hair dryer, There was even a fan in the room, which made sleeping in July very comfortable. This b&b is near restaurants, magnificent churches, bus stops, the main train station, and metro, all of which made our trip to the fabulous city of Rome, with its friendly piazzas and its ancient sites, a most memorable and informative experience. ” Richard, Apo Ae |
