Hotel Kursaal & Ausonia  

Terrific location. 5min walk from the train station. Great wi-fi, just open your webbrowser and wait one minute and it fast. Close to laundry service accross the street, restaurants, attractions. Nice continental breakfast too!

Location - just about 10min walk from the main railway station. Also close to numerous inexpensive restaurants and cafes. Breakfast - reasonable, and good deal for the price.

Some staff are friendly, some are inexperienced and seem to say No immediately. Also, my booking confirmation clearly indicated a room with a bathtub. However, upon check-in we were offered a room with a cramped bathroom, with no explanation. Upon asking to speak with the manager, I was initially refused. Upon pressing further, the man in charge contacted the manager, and then told me that there was a mistake somewhere, and there was no obligation to match the room as per booking confirmation, or compensate accordingly. I requested a 1-day free WIFI as meager compensation, but was instantly refused. I wish the owners were a bit more flexible.

The hotel was very basic and standard but that's all that was needed. It was clean and had more space than most hotel rooms we have stayed in. Breakfast being included was a bonus, it was very average breakfast. They had a bookshelf of books you could borrow to look into what there was to see not only in florence but many countries around europe. And when we had internet troubles they helped us profusely and continued to help us solve the problem as to why it kept disconnecting. But having free wifi was great. We had an amazing view of the duomo from our window which was so pretty at night.

The internet service as mentioned kept playing up which was quite frustrating. The bathroom was a little squashy but fine. Also a block out blind may have been better as you got a lot of light in through the sheer curtain.

The location is great. Walking distance to everything. The rooms are nice and roomy.

The bathrooms are smallish and old but sufficient. The breakfast is very basic, minimalistic and nothing is fresh or healthy.

Close to the train station. It's a little bit hard to find cause the road name changes in some blocks. Very nice stuff and services.

It is said there are antiques in the room, but only to find some old and shabby furniture. Not worth of the money

Good Budget hotel - worth every penny. Clean rooms and helpful staff.

The lift was a little slow

The breakfast was the best we took throught the Italy. Jani, the guy on the reception, was great and helpful. Firenze is a small city, and the hotel is located not so far away from Duomo and train stations, like the others.

The furniture of the room was a little bit old. There was a terrible noise on the bathroom.

This was a very good choice of hotels for my girlfriend and me because it was the most reasonable priced place within walking distance of almost everything we wanted to do. Very different lobby. Enter at the street level and directly go up the elevator to the 3rd floor lobby. From there this is a fairly small hotel, but nice and quant. Ask for room 18was if you would like a very large balcony, with a partial view of the Duomo.

It seemed like the hotelapartment was located in a hotel distict, just past a flee market from all of the main tourist attractions though. A little scetchy at sunset. Like i mentioned above, the lobby was a little wierd. There was nothing on the ground floor other than the elevator.

piace solo agli stranieri forse perchè non sono italiani ai quali il bello piace come anche un frigo pieno dato che non ho pagato poco.

La cortesia e l'impegno di Iris, alla reception, nel cercare di risolvere una situazione spiacevole creatasi per una non ottimale organizzazione della struttura. Il sorriso che ha saputo mantenere nonostante la tensione

Lo scarso interessamento da parte della proprietà per un inconveniente accaduto, facendolo gestire al personale presente nella struttura.

Mi è piaciuto il bagno, pulito e funzionale la doccia

La posizione è ottima anche se situato su una strada trafficata ma rumore sopportabile. Lo staff molto cordiale,efficiente, disponibile e simpatico. Situato al terzo piano ma c'è ascensore.

Devo esprimere il mio disappunto a riguardo dei confort di questa struttura. La stanza si piccola e il bagno pure, ma questo non è un problema, poichè in una stanza non è necessario soggiornare a lungo.la manutenzione è scarsa (calorifero in bagno perdeva acqua, scarico doccia intasato e abat-jour penzolante) inoltre la pulizia dovrebbe essere fatta più a fondo e meno in fretta. Soffro di allergia ed è peggiorata soggiornando nella stanza. Le persiane vecchie di legno quasi cadenti. Le coperte (vecchie in lana non aiutano di certo, il lavaggio inoltre deve essere frequente proprio perche in lana trattengono tutto). Stesso vale per i copriletti: se si vanta una struttura di un certo livello i particolari devono essere curati e i copriletti, come le tende devono essere lavati con frequenza. Colazione in uno spazio non adeguato (contiene poca gente) qualità del cibo molto scarsa. Rapporto qualità prezzo non è equilibrato.
