Hotel Vienna Ostenda  

My husband and I were traveling with 5 kids ages 11 and under. The staff was extremely helpful arranging a room for all of us to stay together, (which is hard to do in most Italian hotels.) I was very impressed with the staff!! We had an ocean view, the location is perfect! Breakfast is standard Italian breakfast, fruit, cereal and pasteries.

The biggest downfall of this hotel was the price. I was extremely disappointed when they charged us extra for each of our children in the room. 2 rooms for 3 nights would have cost 1000euro. We were able to cancel 1 room and stay together (thought we would save a lot of money) but they charged us 800euro for 1 room for 3 nights. Didn't have the time or energy to argue and just paid. They charge to place items in the refrigerator, first time I had ever seen something like that! Crazy!

The spacious room ( although I paid extra money for it ).Service was good thanks to a staff member which came from our country and was nice

I didn't like breakfast-poor breakfast, bad cappuccino, no diet Coke at the bar, wi-fi in hotel but not in our room although I paid for it ( which was in a building nearby, in the same court , room for we have paid extra money for bath tub) and , wi-fi with extra money ( stupid ) , only old people in the hotel.We bought a special kind of fresh pasta to take back home and we couldn't place it in the fridge in the room because we saw a note on the fridge that said "you have to pay 5 euro/day if you put your stuff in the fridge" and that seemed also stupid

Staff cordiale, buona qualità dei buffet.

Bagno in camera di ridotte dimensioni (circa 2m. x 1,20); la doccia addirittura era in mezzo al bagno, senza piatto-doccia, con la classica antipatica tendina e per fare la doccia sei obbligato a bagnare praticamente tutto il bagno (irrorando dall'alto, non solo allagando il pavimento!) compreso quello che eventualmente non hai messo in salvo: dagli asciugamani al beauty sulla mensola del lavabo. Inoltre la temperatura, sempre del bagno, era molto bassa (pareti confinanti con l'esterno evidentemente non isolate, termosifone piccolo e mal posizionato). Nell'intercapedine del vetrocamera della microscopica finestra c'erano due dita d'acqua, non so entrate da dove! Insomma non credo proprio si meriti 4 stelle.

Di sicuro la Colazione, anche se secondo me era un hotel a 3 stelle più che a 4
