- Hotel was overbooked - No way to enter to the hotel - you have to actually call their phone - Once called, on the phone i was told to get to another hotel as there is bed prepared for me - At the hotel i was directed no one was informed about the change - Condition were much worst, compared to what i booked and price was higher - No way to talk to manager directly - I highly DISCOURAGE everyone for booking at this hotel, you might end up in a huge mess.
Location. Very Cleaning.
The room is beside the road.
Beautiful, clean, well located and with an excellent staff.
Toilet is big enough, close to the railway station, facilities in room are perfect
Bed size is too small, there is no reception and you need to make a call to inform them. It may cause problem if I cant make a call
For €68 per night, we had a comfy room with a tiny, sunny balcony and a view over the rooftops (including the Duomo)! Location is handy (5-10 minutes on foot from the train station, 15 minutes from the centre of Florence). The lady working there was helpful and friendly - when we asked if we could stay for an extra few nights, she immediately rang the manager and sorted it out for us. She also makes sure that everything is spotless, including the shared bathroom.
One slight quirk of the bathroom was that the flush system had its engineering exposed at the time we were there - you basically reached into the wall and pulled a small pipe in order to flush the toilet! Most of the time, that worked fine, though. Breakfast is packaged croissants and biscuits, and you'd do better to go to a local bar for a fresh pastry and coffee. The area is v noisy with traffic (main road outside), so if you're a sensitive sleeper bring earplugs. On arrival, it's not immediately clear how to get into the building (we were lucky because the lady was exiting just as we were standing there looking confused). It would be worth ringing/emailing first to confirm your eta. Overall, good value and pleasant surroundings if you're not looking for luxury. We really enjoyed our stay.
Everything was perfect
No english speaking staff Very dark in corridors - no lights so getting in after 8pm is difficult
Really clean and great bathroom.
Please, contact them before showing up, just to make sure they are waiting for you.
We seemingly had the place to ourselves even though it was a Thursday/Friday night (perhaps a comment on the over-expensive cost for such lackluster accommodations). The room itself was fine, as was the kitchen (although it was not well-equipped).
The location seemed a bit dodgy, (although walking distance to the center and close to the station). My boyfriend had rocks thrown at him when we were walking on the street - perhaps not the best neighborhood. Extremely poor customer service, I don't think it's fair of the owner to make the cleaner manage the checkin, although she managed well. We never actually met any other staff other than the cleaner and weren't given any information about the city. The toilet flushes were both broken off although still usable. The breakfast was a stale croissant in a bag with some biscuits. Not an entirely unpleasant stay, but I think the place is overpriced for what it is.
Spacious room. Use of the kitchen.
They offered a small bottle of champagne for us as it was our honeymoon.
The staff was very rude and disorganised. On my booking confirmation it didn't say anything but we were meant to call them prior to arrival as the staff are not there at all. No sign at the building so it was very hard to find which was wasting out valuable time. The address and direction on the booking.com was different and if I didn't have other residence help to get in to the building, I would have wasted significant amount of time and ended have to find a public phone to call them. Never had this experience before and make me feel insecure. Worked out that the owner is just taking calls then get his sister to the building get payment only in CASH and the sister is pretty rude-the way she speaks and looks very annoyed. I would not recommend this place and won't go back either.
Location is great: close to both the train station and the city centre. Room is nicely furnished.
No sign on the door, we had to talk to locals to make sure we're standing at the right door. When we arrived, no one was there to let us in, and we had to call the owner to make sure our reservation is valid. A room attendant, who as a matter of fact spoke only Italian and couldn't understand a word in English, arrived 10 minutes after we called the owner. The room was still a mess after the previous guests, so we were offered to leave our luggage and come back in an hour while the cleaning lady was taking care of the room.
Room is very nice, clean and comfortable. It is not so far to the tourist area. short walk to walk to train station and SITA bus station
Close to the train station. 20minutes walking from the city center, breakfast included. Pretty nice room
Hotel a bit hidden and a guy stay blocked outside because of the locked door, Globally pretty nice
