Hotel da Carlos is very conveniently located if you’d like to explore the North of Tuscany. Our room was perfectly clean, comfortable and was equipped with good airconditioning. Breakfast had anything you could wish for with multiple Italian treats. The staff was super friendly and very helpful.
If you have the opportunity, try the restaurant at night which offers great food !
Very nice renovated and well maintained mansion with a beautiful domain, in the hearth of the town. Friendly owners which put their hearts and souls in making the property warm and welcoming. After an exhausting day, relaxing in the afternoon at the pool on the hotel domain is a bless. The parking included is definitely a plus. Warm recommendation from our side.
Very good hotel for us, we stayed one night (in transit). The village nearby is very lovely, we had nice walk around after one day long driving.
The dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was also very good, same the breakfast. Nice staff. The room is very comfortable, and bathroom super great (as 5 starts hotel). So really a pleasant stay. I recommend.
We chose this accommodation because it was located on the main street, between Pisa and Lucca, both on our itinerary. The hosts were nice and prepared us a rich Italian breakfast. There is also a private parking lot behind the hotel, and in the evening you can serve a dessert at the restaurant inside the hotel.
The hotel is perfectly located between Pisa and Luca. We were looked after by the friendliest, most helpful man we met on our travels, he told us about Lucca and suggested we ride around on biked which was wonderful!
Good restaurant and lovely breakfast, highly recommended
What a wonderful place ! Tucked away in the pretty village of Santa Maria del Giudice , Villa Del Papa was a real find . Wonderful hosts Danielle and Giovanni made us so welcome and were so helpful with our onward travel . Grazie Mille!
It was very comfy, very nice village hotel, very kind and great staff, good location if you have a car. Mid way from Lucca to Pisa or opposite. Very good value for money!
I appreciate host kindness. Hotel was clean and we had everything needed. View from the balcony was amazing, also breakfasts they served was cute and tasty.
Conveniently located hotel on my journey back to the UK from Sicily. Nice comfy room, good a/c. Restaurant where I had a late lunch and supper was superb
