눉We received the worst treatment that I ever had in an hotel in Europe. We were travelling through France and Italy with three kids, with ages 5y, 2y and 6 months on August 2014. When I do long trips I only book 4 stars hotels located out of the city centers. In this case it was a prepaid booking (paid in advance). Well, in the afternoon, we realized there was an event happening and they told us that it was a wedding celebration that was going to be taken in the -1 level, so no problem with noise. When we did the reservation nothing was mentioned (and this hotel is supposed to have an spa, so you can imagine our surprise). That night we saw, to our surprise, that the celebration was also taking place in the terrace with the swimming pool, when all my family woke up, due to the noise and the music at 1:AM. I called the reception at 3:AM, and a gentleman (I guess the hotel Director, in charge of the wedding supervision) admitted the mistake with the reservation (no information was given so the normal thing to do is to close the hotel for the wedding or at least inform the potential guests that they will have noisy nights). He told me that the were managing my case and he apologised. He told me that the wedding was about to finished. I told him that I wanted at reception an oficial complaint form to be available early in the morning. Well, the wedding finally ended at 5:00 and we had to get up at 6:30 to continue our trip so we could not sleep at all. When I went to do the check out there was a girl who pretended not to know anything. I asked about an official complaint form and she put poker face, wasted time making calls, going up and down and returning after 20 minutes with a leaflet to fill a quality survey: a joke! She transmitted the apologies from the director and invited us for breakfast (not included in the price). This is a joke for a 5 members family who have paid for a room and could not sleep in an entire night.
눇Nothing at all.
