“Casa die Limoni was a lovely experience. Our hostess, Valentina, was very friendly and helpful with recommendations for restaurants and hiking trails. The breakfast was wonderful and the location was peaceful and quiet. There are many steps to reach this b&b which makes it a good aerobic workout!”

La Casa was amazing. It gives you fair warning on the website of the mini trek you must take to reach it (80 stairs) but they welcome you immediately with ice cold lemonade made from the lemons they grow on the property. The staff is amazing, friendly and fluent in many languages including English and German, and of course Italian. The rooms are smallish but very clean and modern. They also sell Limoncello and lemon curd/jam made from their lemons onsite! Amazing place! Not a good place to go if you arent in good shape. The Casa is in an amazing location though, which makes it worth it!

We take back memories of lovely people in a well designed and managed small hotel. A real gem. We will warmly recommend the Casa dei Limoni and hope to be back some day.

It is a quaint little B&B with about 6 rooms. It offers nice views of the sea, is quiet for the most part, and is surrounded by a lemon orchard. The staff are really nice. The breakfast was really nice... fresh cakes and omelettes, etc. The rooms are quite small... difficult to navigate in the shower and I'm not an overweight or large person. The walk up is quite steep. You will break a sweat and get a workout carrying your luggage, but I was up for a hike anyway. Probably not an ideal location for those who are out of shape. The walls are quite thin, and we were right next to the breakfast/reception/office area, so a bit awkward at moments. For what was on offer and considering it was pre-season, I thought the price was a little steep at 150 euros.

Valintina's very personal attention. The lemon scent, the greeting on arrival, the views from our balcony, the freshness of the food and the way the local produce (available to purchase) was displayed. Have already recommended to family & friends via my Facebook account.

The bed and breakfast is so beautifully located in a lemon grove, so tastefully decorated, and immaculately clean. Valentina is an excellent host, very warm and hospitable, like a family member. The service is genuinely warm, friendly and inspired. We love the lemon cake, lemon tart and crostata. The breakfast is personalized and fresh. Valentina even offered to pack us breakfast when we needed to go catch an early train ride to Siena. She made very good recommendations for dinner - Al Pozzo and Miky, and to visit enchanting Portovenere. Overall, a wonderful stay in Cinque Terre. Massimo and Domenico were very helpful with the luggage going up an down the steps.

The hotel staff were fantastic - i had a flu and they were very helpful in trying to get me well again, very sweet! The location is a bit tough and not the greatest. It is a fair walk from the train station and then its up a very steep and pebbled walk way, leaving you rather breathless and tired and sweaty at the top. Other than that, this place is great!

Went with my college-age daughter. We loved the hosts who were so wonderful and warm to us and all their guests. The decor of an old farmhouse renovated with a simple modern style was well done. The breakfasts were delicious. We would recommend taking apperatif in the lemon garden one afternoon- so memorable. Perfecto!

Valentina and Matteo make you feel right at home from the moment you step through the door. The climb is worth it for the beautiful views of the sea and lemon groves. We loved the fresh lemonade and orange juice. It was a delight and I hope to return .

They provided us with fresh squeezed lemonade from their lemon tree garden and lemon cakes upon our arrival. They offered a regional appetizer meal prepared for us and served in the lemon garden. They were incredibly helpful including drawing a map of recommended restaurants, providing the ferry schedule and making us omlets for breakfast every morning. The views from our room were fabulous and we couldn't speak more highly of the staff, especially Julia. We read reviews about the trek up the hill but thought we were young and it would be no big deal. It's a hike. They make up for it in other ways but it's not for the elderly or those unwilling to trek up a steep hill a few times a day. The energy efficient lighting is a nice idea but doesn't have a very sensitive sensor so it's a bit of a pain at times.

The service at La Casa Deil Limoni was excellent. Valentina & Julia were wonderful hosts. You felt like a special guest staying here. We were served wonderful home made breakfast as well as appetizers & wine each night in a lovely setting. The rooms were very clean & modern. No complaints. Many people complained about the steps up to the b & B. But, if you are coming to Cinque Terre for the hiking, it was not a problem at all.

The staff at Casa Dei Limoni were wonderful. Upon our arrival we were greeted with fresh lemonade made from lemons grown on the property and given a wealth of information regarding Monterosso. I understand that some people are troubled by the location but I did not find the walk that far nor the stairs that troubling. For people who do have an issue you can arrange to be picked up.

We liked everything about Casa dei Limoni! It is placed on a beautiful place with a lovely Limongarden. Eating homemade "Appritivo" with the very tasty local wine in the garden is a wonderful experience. The owner Valentina and Massimo and the rest of the staff are very personal and kindly and very good to make us feel at home. They devote a great care towards us guests.

The thing I liked best was the staff at the hotel who were very courteous, responsive to our needs and friendly. This is not something I did not like, but it may prohibit others from staying there. We are hikers, so lugging our carry-on suitcase and other bags up the long winding stairs was not a problem. We laughed about it later saying that there would not be too many people who would want to do this a) in the heat or b) in the rain, both conditions we experienced.

the breakfast was good. The freshly baked lemon cakes. The location was horrible. impossible to make it to the top of the hill with a suitcase. staff were not very helpful and one did not know how to operate the tractor for transporting the luggage. My room was the worst in the hotel with no view and right off the small lobby and infront of tables where people would eat breakfast. the beds were small and uncomfortable. The price was way above what it should have been.

The best thing about La Casa Dei Limoni was our host Valentina. She could not have been more hospitable. She was one of those people that you meet on a holiday that makes your trip just that much better. Our room was very clean and modern and the view was beautiful. The lemon trees everywhere were gorgeous. Our breakfasts were excellent - fresh and tasty food. Loved the lemon cake, eggs and coffee. The hike up the hill was a challenge, especially given it was very hot and humid during our stay.

We enjoyed being above the village, away from the other hotels and people. The breakfasts on the verandah overlooking the village and sea were very good. .No complaints but I would have liked a room with a balcony!
