Very comfortable and stylish accommodation, yet retaining the overall ambiance of the surroundings. Good quality toiletries provided comparable to five star hotels. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Valentina the manager was wonderful with restaurant and activity recommendations. She arranged a surprise birthday treat for my husband which was so much appreciated. When we arrived the 80 steps were a bit challenging with our luggage but Julia was waiting with welcome refreshments. We were advised to request pre-arranged help with the luggage which we did not do. We had the help on departure and it was effortless. Will definitely stay at La Casa Dei Limoni again.

La Casa was amazing. It gives you fair warning on the website of the mini trek you must take to reach it (80 stairs) but they welcome you immediately with ice cold lemonade made from the lemons they grow on the property. The staff is amazing, friendly and fluent in many languages including English and German, and of course Italian. The rooms are smallish but very clean and modern. They also sell Limoncello and lemon curd/jam made from their lemons onsite! Amazing place! Not a good place to go if you arent in good shape. The Casa is in an amazing location though, which makes it worth it!

They provided us with fresh squeezed lemonade from their lemon tree garden and lemon cakes upon our arrival. They offered a regional appetizer meal prepared for us and served in the lemon garden. They were incredibly helpful including drawing a map of recommended restaurants, providing the ferry schedule and making us omlets for breakfast every morning. The views from our room were fabulous and we couldn't speak more highly of the staff, especially Julia. We read reviews about the trek up the hill but thought we were young and it would be no big deal. It's a hike. They make up for it in other ways but it's not for the elderly or those unwilling to trek up a steep hill a few times a day. The energy efficient lighting is a nice idea but doesn't have a very sensitive sensor so it's a bit of a pain at times.

The service at La Casa Deil Limoni was excellent. Valentina & Julia were wonderful hosts. You felt like a special guest staying here. We were served wonderful home made breakfast as well as appetizers & wine each night in a lovely setting. The rooms were very clean & modern. No complaints. Many people complained about the steps up to the b & B. But, if you are coming to Cinque Terre for the hiking, it was not a problem at all.

We couldn't have asked for a more inviting place. We were greeted by the lovely Valentina with fresh lemon juice & croissants with lemon jam. The view from the terrace overlooking the lemon groves & the old town of Monterosso is beautiful. The rooms are very well equipped with air conditioning, a very comfortable double bed, tea/coffee facilities & a TV. The breakfast is incredible - healthy, fresh & very personalised. The attention to detailed & the personalised approach made our stay most enjoyable. My bad... I had a suitcase with wheels & it wasn't easy getting up the rocky, steep pathway leading up to the B&B.

The staff at Casa Dei Limoni were wonderful. Upon our arrival we were greeted with fresh lemonade made from lemons grown on the property and given a wealth of information regarding Monterosso. I understand that some people are troubled by the location but I did not find the walk that far nor the stairs that troubling. For people who do have an issue you can arrange to be picked up.

Breakfast was wonderful and rooms were very nice. I didn't like that they do not accept American Express. The hotel or Booking.com should have clarified this at the time of booking. It presented a problem during checkout as I was unaware that they would not let me used the same card with which I booked the room.

The hotel is set back from the town on a hill and a perfect retreat- combination between being in the lemon groves and seeing the ocean. It's quiet, modern and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Be prepared for walking up the hill to get to the hotel.

We liked everything about Casa dei Limoni! It is placed on a beautiful place with a lovely Limongarden. Eating homemade "Appritivo" with the very tasty local wine in the garden is a wonderful experience. The owner Valentina and Massimo and the rest of the staff are very personal and kindly and very good to make us feel at home. They devote a great care towards us guests.

The thing I liked best was the staff at the hotel who were very courteous, responsive to our needs and friendly. This is not something I did not like, but it may prohibit others from staying there. We are hikers, so lugging our carry-on suitcase and other bags up the long winding stairs was not a problem. We laughed about it later saying that there would not be too many people who would want to do this a) in the heat or b) in the rain, both conditions we experienced.

the breakfast was good. The freshly baked lemon cakes. The location was horrible. impossible to make it to the top of the hill with a suitcase. staff were not very helpful and one did not know how to operate the tractor for transporting the luggage. My room was the worst in the hotel with no view and right off the small lobby and infront of tables where people would eat breakfast. the beds were small and uncomfortable. The price was way above what it should have been.

The best thing about La Casa Dei Limoni was our host Valentina. She could not have been more hospitable. She was one of those people that you meet on a holiday that makes your trip just that much better. Our room was very clean and modern and the view was beautiful. The lemon trees everywhere were gorgeous. Our breakfasts were excellent - fresh and tasty food. Loved the lemon cake, eggs and coffee. The hike up the hill was a challenge, especially given it was very hot and humid during our stay.

The bed and breakfast is located in beautiful surroundings overlooking the village and sea within a lemon grove. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. The house is clean and the atmosphere is relaxed. There was no hot water in the shower late at night. There is no road leading to the house and it is a long steep climb which is not suitable if you have large suitcases. There is no parking by the house and parking in the village parking lot costs 18 euro/day.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. For breakfast in the morning there was a large selection of fresh fruit, breads, and spreads. The staff will also make eggs to your preference and coffee. The room was very clean and I loved the design. It is a refurbished farm house so it creates a cozy yet modern feel that was very nice. I would have liked to spend less money on a hotel but considering the location, overlooking the sea, it was a great deal.

Stunning views over the town to the sea and surrounded by a fantastic collection of lemon trees! Fresh lemon jam and sliced lemons added a touch of fresh local fruit to the beautifully prepared breakfast. Comfortable rooms and a very cool ambience. Pack light and be prepared to haul your bags up the hill from the road!

We enjoyed being above the village, away from the other hotels and people. The breakfasts on the verandah overlooking the village and sea were very good. .No complaints but I would have liked a room with a balcony!
