“ Perfect location! It is like being in a dream... The view of the piazza is incredible! The staff is so very helpful and go out of their way to help. My daughter left a school book there and they were able to find it and offered to mail it to us! Beds are comfy, tons of space. We will definitely stay here again and again! ”

Helpful and friendly Staff. Well furnished. Paintings and copperplate-styled etchings on the wall display a lot of class and depict the buildings and local environs. Attentive cleaning staff. Nothing to consider.

We stayed at the Benvenuto apartment and found it to be very spacious and comfortable. It is very clean and beautiful inside. Breakfast is very good.the staff is very nice. You have to take into account that it is located on a fourth flour and there is no elevator: important when you have medium suitcases, and that the reception is open just part time. The location can´t be better

This old building has own classic character, together with nicely renovated interior. I was impressed by wooden pillar, worn down stairs, and one of the best (vast) shower I saw in b&B. Located in the heart of old Firenze! It's not easy to find it only with address - street numbering of Firenze is quite confusing and the police simply answered 'don't know'. I recommend you to check the map before.

Location, comfort.. I did not like at all to wait in front of the door for an hour althoug we're there within the check-in hours. There was no stuff in the hotel and thanks to a guest staying at the hotel we could enter in the building and not had to wait under the rain. The receptionist came at 18.30 and he did not even apologize. That, dissappointed us a lot.. To avoid this kind of situations the receptionist has to be there within the indicated hours for sure! And there should be a phone number reachible at all times... Even booking.com has only 1 number of the hotel which is not reachable when needed..

It is a perfect location, and the rooms were large and well-appointed, particularly given the cost. It is an excellent value considering how expensive Florence can be. The staff was friendly and helpful (certainly not bad at all - and accommodating with all our needs), but they were not overly warm, especially given the reception we found elsewhere in Italy.

Location was perfect. Smack bang in the centre. We had a suit on the top floor and it was amazing. Two Bedrooms, Massive Bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, hobs, microwave and fridge. All air- conditioned throughout. The stair climb to the top wouldn't suit the elderly or disabled. But for us (52yrs) it was fine. If you need help with cases etc they were happy to assist. Most things were a little expensive even for a city. Can diet Coke 7 euro. Two scoops of delicious gelato upto 10 euros. Then again a fantastic pizza in a restaurant 12/14 euros. Water is also very expensive (between 1.5 & 3 euro) so it is best to buy at the supermarket (50c) a few doors down from the MacDonalds by the station. The tourist office is also there by the station and you can book tours from here. Chianti, Pisa, Lucca, Cinque Terre, Siena. The day tours were all about 90 euros each and half days about 50. Full days often included lunch. The tours by MyTours were great and quite well organised, we did two and one half days. All in all we had a great time and couldn’t fault it.

The Hotel is in a perfect location , near the main attractions of Florence The room was spacious enough and very comfortable I traveled with my two older children and got a suite with 2 seperate room with a very nice view There was a very nice small kitchen where you can make breakfast. The bathroom was extremely small. And you have to pay for the cleaning of the room , it is not included in the hotel price The check-in is too late (2.00pm)and the check-out is too early, (10.00 am) this brought us problems at the time of leaving.

Excelent, great location at Piazza la Signoria, beautiful antique building, great room layout for a family of four. Very clean and good personal. If you are traveling with heavy luggages, be aware it has not elevator as all historical buildings.

The location was amazing. Our window overlooked tha plaza and the hotel is centrally located. Very noisy which we weren't prepared for. There were concerts on the plaza both nights that went very late making sleeping difficult.

Very cosy. Suite was beautiful and spacious. Kitchenette was well-equipped. Location was very central - 5 min walk to historic sites, etc. Supermarket and laundrette nearby. Breakfast was a bit too simple - croissants, fruit and coffee.

This was a fabulous location right on the Piazza. The 2 bedroon apartment we were in was roomy and reasonably well appointed. The kitchenette was a bonus. The recepetion opening hours were a bit restricting and even when it was supposed to be open, it was not always open.

Charming small hotel (b&b) in terrific location on Piazza di Signoria within walking distance of major attractions. Lovely staff - very helpful. Lots of stairs and no elevator so bring small suitcases. Wonderful breakfast. Noise from the Piazza lasts long after midnight. Bring earplugs.

Great location, good staff. Would recommend it for first timers. Beds weren't very comfortable. Noise level because of great location in the square was a bit tough in the mornings and in the middle of the night. Couldn't leave the windows open at night when we would of liked too. No lift- had to get luggage up three stories - but most hotels in Italy are similar.

In all of Florence, there cannot be a better location from which to explore the city and it's treasures. La Casa Del Garbo is unique, it is very atmospheric, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and go to great lengths to make your stay a pleasant one. Being relatively small, the B&B is nice and quiet and the atmosphere is informal and relaxed. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Florence - verything is within easy walking distance.
