Hotel La Casa di Morfeo    

Excellent location, near enough to attractions, very near very good restaurants, yet quiet. Very nicely appointed rooms, nice staff and service overall, very nice breakfast.

The wifi internet was a little spotty in our room.

Elegant hotel with great value for money. This hotel was in walking proximity to all the main attractions of Florence and had lovely comfortable, quiet rooms and a delicious breakfast spread. The staff were also extremely welcoming, providing restaurant and activity recommendations. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

This was my second visit to La Casa di Morfeo and I can't imagine ever staying anywhere else if I visit Florence again in the future. The rooms are delightful, I stayed in Mimosa which has a beautiful painted ceiling. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the mini bar well stocked with soft drinks and snacks at very reasonable prices. Extra touches such as a complimentary bottle of water in the room on arrival and a small picnic for my journey home make La Casa di Morfeo special and the staff are one of its biggest assets, nothing is too much trouble for any of them.

There is nothing I don't like about La Casa di Morfeo.

The staff at Hotel Casa di Morfeo were wonderful, and really went the extra mile to get us familiarized with the city, and make us feel welcome. We were surprised with a complimentary aperitif brought to our room on our first night, and were given a bag full of snacks and a complimentary bottle of wine on our departure. The room was comfortable, clean, and chic.

We had some trouble finding the place, as in Florence there are 2 sets of addresses on buildings, and we went to the wrong one first and ended up walking around for about 45 minutes trying to find the hotel. Also, it is located in a limited traffic zone, which wasn't communicated to us ahead of time, so we were afraid to drive up to the hotel and ended up spending a lot of time trying to find a parking spot to then walk to the hotel to get more information on parking. There is a great valet service that comes and picks up the car and then drops it off once you are ready to leave, but it costs 25 euros a night, and through some miscommunication, we weren't alerted to the cost and were a bit blind- sided by the bill when collecting the car. Regardless, we would definitely stay at the Casa di Morfeo again.

Great location, nice, clean modern hotel (only 1 year old). Big bathroom with big shower (and wall jets!). The staff are all so friendly! Really close to everything with only short walks to where ever you are headed.

The hotel is fantastic. The location is ideal, not in a loud- partying city center, but not too far. The rooms are furnished like in a 5* hotel.

The breakfast didn't start as promised at 7.30, because the guy serving it was 15 min late. Given we had to leave to the airport at 8 it was annoying. But it's more a general Italian problem, than a fault of this hotel. Also the staff couldn't explain properly how to park a car in the area. Every time they told us a different story. In the end, there is a parking service for 25euro on the spot and you can enter the restricted ztl zone freely on arrival. They'll do all the paperwork for you.

Wonderful place to stay. The staff went above and beyond! Would definitely stay there again if we get back to Florence.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The rooms were luxurious, well beyond our expectations given the price.

Everything was fine. The staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. Very clean and modern bathrooms. I would stay here again.

It's a bit of a walk down Gabellina, but very manageable.

The lounge, which is also the breakfast area is very comfortable and beautiful. The receptionist who was there in the afternoon and evening was beyond helpful. She helped us find and book another hotel when we had to go. Se was very professional.

Rooms that don't face the street are miserable and have no view. The shower had no hose option and the bathroom fan was in desperate need of cleaning. The room we had didn't smell good, perhaps because it was not on the street side. Needed airing out.

We chose this hotel for the good review score and because it looked charming - it met our expectations. The rooms were very cute, each had unique decor. The staff were very helpful, we arrived early and they accommodated us by putting us in our room early and they made us some fresh coffee. They also had great tips on the city. The location was good for us, but it's not 100% in the middle of the centre (about a 10-minute walk from stuff like the Duomo etc.).

The hotel it's a really surprise. Think a good present in a bad packaging. It is near to the city center (that means not very safe in the night and never take your car/no parking), big and comfort beds and you will love the fresco-paintings on the ceiling. Very good restaurants just next to the hotel.

BUT Please don't judge the hotel from the entrance.

Very nice and well decorated room big enough for three adults. The staff was excellent gave us very good recommendations and tips for nice restaurants. Locations was great within walking distance to the main attractions. Bus stop from the main train station is just at the corner.

We liked the beautiful, spacious room (more of a suite) and the fact that it was in a tree lined quiet street. It was within walking distance of the Old City

The breakfast was a bit limited in terms of healthy choices - lots of refined carbs.

Very friendly staff, they pre organised my wife's birthday bits before arriving and pre booked museum tickets.

We had room 1 which was close to reception and was abit noisey.

Our room was just a bit too simplisticly decorated. Reviews here suggest somewhat higher quality of facilities. But overall can't complain much.

Room sizes - bigger than usual in Florence Colour scheme and decor - fresh, clean and welcoming Excellent breakfast and coffee! Friendly and knowledgeable staff Welcome fruit basket.
