We had a fantastic four nights at La Casa Medioevale. The couple that own the place were helpful, friendly and hospitable and we felt completely relaxed at this amazing historic farm house. Our room was stunning, with stone walls and views over the Tuscany countryside. Breakfast was around a big table with local food and perfect coffee, and we stayed for one evening meal, which was a memorable experience of Tuscan cooking. We felt really treated throughout our stay, and can't wait to go back for a return visit. Thanks Philomena and Massimo! From Magdalen and Stewart

Well.....it was a bit hard to find, especially as our sat nav tried to direct us across the hillside through the olive groves....but other guests found it first time, so maybe that was just us.......

Very comfortable house, the pool was amazing, the staff was very accommodating. I would recommend this B&B to friends/family.

Everything… The hosts, the staff, the breakfasts and dinner, the location and the surroundings, the swimming pool, the food in the nearby villages, the cycling rides around the hills.

This really is the place to unwind and relax. The hostess Filomina was so nice and attentive. The house is exactly as you imagine (from the web site) The room was a good size with a rustic decor and air-con which was definitely needed!! The house sits in a lovely well kept garden with the good sized pool tucked away in one corner. Lovely. A 5 minute drive takes you to a small town with two or three restaurants and a Coop! This is a good base to visit the main Tuscan cities of Florence, Pisa and Lucca. It's about half way between Pisa and Florence. What we did was to drive to the nearest railway station and we took the train to both - no problems, cheap and reliable.

Very charming & romantic accomodation, la Casa truly is a nicely restored medieval house, breathing the Tuscany atmosphere. Its location is very suited for visiting northern Tuscany's cities as Firenze, Pisa and Lucca. Very welcoming hosts, who know the nice non-touristic restaurants to go to at evening (if possible, also try to have dinner at la Casa!). Garden & swimming pool very well maintained, ideal for relaxing after city visit (or just to hang around the entire day - dolce far niente :-) ).

First time maybe difficult to find, even though they've put signs... but maybe not 100% clear.

Excel.lent tracte per par dels propietaris,instalacions molt correctes I confortables .Com a casa. Esmorzar molt bó I molt cassolá.

MItten in der Hochsaison in Italien einen Platz zu finden, an dem man Ruhe und Entspannung finden kann ist schon fast ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit. La Casa Medioevale ist ein solcher Platz und die Eigentümerin kümmert sich liebevoll und gleichzeitig zurückhaltend um jeden ihrer Gäste. Ein Paradies!

Si tratta di un bellissimo casale restrutturato a regola d'arte, immerso in un giardino estremamente curato e circondato da uliveti favolosi. Si respira un'atmosfera unica, il fascino dei tempi passati unito alle comodità moderne. La piscina è il fiore all'occhiello della struttura. Le camere sono curate nei dettagli, ognuna di esse è dedicata ad un diverso illustre personaggio toscano. La giovane padrona di casa è, come tutti i toscani, molto ospitale ed innamorata della sua terra. Peccato essere rimasto per poco tempo, sicuramente ci ritornerò!!!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la semaine passée à La Casa Medioevale: accueil chaleureux, charme de la demeure à la fois calme et vivante, présence attentive et discrète des hôtes et du personnel, nuits de qualité grâce à la literie mais aussi à la tranquillité du site, vue sur le village et les collines environnantes, jardin ombragé et piscine fréquentés par les clients et les propriétaires, "sans foule". D'autre part, point de départ bien situé pour de jolies ballades en Toscane.

Après de nombreux kilomètres et malgré quelques indications, La Casa Medioevale est un peu difficile à trouver. Il est nécessaire de prendre sa voiture pour aller au village.

Gastvrouw, zeer betrokken en dagelijks een drankje aan het zwembad.

Appartement slaapkamers en badkamer goed maar keuken-woongedeelte liet sterk te wensen over ( onvolledige uitrusting) geen mogelijkheid om kleding te wassen/drogen .

De ligging zeer centraal voor uitstapjes zeer goed ontbijt en erg lekker eten savonds heerlijk ontspannen aan zwembad alles erg schoon in een woord geweldig echt aan te raden

Prima B&B nabij de belangrijkste steden in Toscane. Zeer persoonlijke service. Diner in tuin (vooraf besteld). Heerlijk zwembad.

La struttura è molto curata. Il giardino è enorme e bellissimo, fiori, piante, un paradiso. La zona piscina soddisfa le esigenze di tutti. Massima disponibilità dei proprietari per soddisfare ogni esigenza.

Sobre todo la atención y el desayuno, también las instalaciones y su limpieza.

Dificultad para localizarlo, debería estar mejor señalizada, tiene un cartel muy pequeño en la entrada y como la carretera requiere la máxima atención, pasa desapercibido.

Ambiente familiare

Der Aufenthalt war schon fast familiär. Filomena, die Gastgeberin, hat sich um alle und alles gekümmert, sehr herzlich und sehr aufmerksam. Sie spricht perfekt Englisch, was uns mit nur wenig Italienischkenntnissen sehr entgegen kam. Kurz - es war einfach perfekt. Wenn wir wieder mal in dieser Gegend Urlaub machen: nur im La Casa Medioevale.

la colazione viene servita all'aperto ed è molto bello, pero' mi aspettavo piu' varietà e abbondanza rispetto al posto molto bello
