It’s such a gorgeous area to explore. Lots of ancient villages, wineries and stunning scenery! I love Castello di Volpaia. This village has beautiful affordable rooms and apartments and a winery all within its walls. It’s small and unique with four great places to eat.

. Small compact village, with nice array of shops, noticeably helpful shop owners. Plenty of restaurants, particularly given the small village size. Close to rail (about 20 km) which makes it easy to get into Florence.
Close to places like San Giminiano and Siena.

Stefano the general manager was outstanding in his customer service- he even drove me to the town of Radda to shop & enjoy the sites - Dimitsia (not sure I’m spelling that correctly)but she was an angel & helped me in numerous ways- the head waiter & staff Andrea & Veronica were awesome every time I had dinner there - the breakfasts were quite varied and had both the bacon I adore & the yogurt & fruit I needed - it really was a sumptuous spread & Francesca & her crew were wonderful- just an all-Around fabulous place to hang your hat for a week or even a weekend!! Thanks to all of you for making my stay wonderful - many thanks!

Radda is a postcard village for the Chianti region perched on a hilltop with great views. We visited about 15 years ago, and it seems as though it has become ever more touristy and the entire town is one big tourist stop which lacks the authenticity that it may once have been. It's lovely, but almost too lovely and manufactured.

It’s a lovely place and we would return and stay longer.
It’s a lovely place and we would return and stay longer. Do need a car otherwise you have to pay more for taxi services as they’re not local. That said staff helped us get to our next location and were very transparent in costs of taxis.
We had a fabulous meal in town a short walk from the hotel. All people we met in shops and restaurants were lovely and welcoming. Do stay here you’ll love it.

Radda in Chianti is a very charming village on top of a hill. It has a pitoresk center and some lovely little shops, selling necessities but also artisanal products. The local restaurants have beautiful settings and great food.

We travelled for one month across Italy and this was our favourite hotel! We love it so much! Amazing view, beautiful house and rooms, lovely pool in the garden but most importantly our host, Giudo who made our stay so special! Guido made us feel at home, was very helpful, made reservations for us in different restaurants, suggested places to visit. He went above and beyond being a regular host to the point that we decided to stay one more night to spend more time in a beautiful La Locanda (beautifully located and detailed-restored).
Beautiful surroundings - super quiet and surrounded by lots of nature. The layout of the hotel is nice with a lot of serene outdoor seating areas. The room was huge - we booked a suite and it was massive which was great. We had a large living area with sofa, large bathroom and separate shower and a large bed. Dinner menu is not extensive but the food was fine. Super friendly and helpful staff!
Very efficient, friendly and helpful receptionist. A real professional.
Charming, historic hotel in the middle of Radda in Chianti on the main street which is closed to cars in the afternoon.
Parking 5 min. away but the hotel opens the gate to offload/load the luggage.
Elegant room with beautifully painted ceiling.
Breakfast buffet/choice was good and service friendly.
This hotel is one of the most stunning places I’ve been to. Views are outstanding , the pool is very clean and food is like at real Italian home, but service is out of the world. Staff was very helpful, caring and very friendly. We felt like at home and I’m sure we will come back soon. Extra Thanks to Stefano-he takes care of guests like no one else.
This is a very special place. It’s high in the hills in Chianti. It’s a beautiful country hotel. The view is exceptional. The pool area is lovely. There is a small village near by which has excellent restaurants and the local winery is top tier. Best of all - the proprietor of the Hotel - Guido is so charming and gracious.
First and foremost: the service. The service is outstanding. Georgia and Gabrielle made sure we had all we needed and put their clients always in first place.
The Chef, without prior notice prepared an exceptional vegetarian dinner for us all.
The hotel is beautiful and surely recommend it.
best place we stayed in our entire trip to Italy! The rooms were immaculately clean, the pool was beautiful and much larger than we thought and SO clean surrounded by vineyards! We were given awesome recommendations for wineries and restaurants to try nearby. absolutely loved it.
A lovely hotel in calm and peaceful surroundings. Good location for visiting Florence and Siena by car. Large and comfortable room and bathroom. Nice restaurant and decent breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. It was a pleasure staying in this hotel!
What an amazing stay in Radda! The hotel was spectacular. We were lucky that our room opened up to the terrace outside. The room was huge and the ambiance was so fairytale-like. Dinner at La Perle was phenomenal.
We liked the very friendly welcome and care throughout our stay, the beautiful hotel with many lovely details and how the chef catered to our dietary restrictions in creatively, delicious ways. It was superb.
We can’t recommend this hotel enough. Everything was amazing. The hotel is gorgeous with amazing views. The staff were very friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was also excellent in both restaurants.
Beyond expectations . The village and hotel are exquisite . The wine tasting was a fun and informative experience . The scenery from our room breathtaking . Highly recommend
Its an old italian property, you shouldn’t be expecting a modern hotel. The property is just lovely and about a five minute drive to the center of town Radda in Chianti.
everything...lovely historic room, all the facilities, pool, jacuzzi, and the best is the location! i love Radda in Chianti...is my other life away from Australia!
Staff/owners were friendly and accommodating. The views from hotel were perfect to lol at while sipping wine. The grounds had a lot of areas outside to relax.
The hotel is well decorated. The staff very warm and helpful. In this place you can be calm and relaxed. The village with nice narrow street are welcoming.
