It’s such a gorgeous area to explore. Lots of ancient villages, wineries and stunning scenery! I love Castello di Volpaia. This village has beautiful affordable rooms and apartments and a winery all within its walls. It’s small and unique with four great places to eat.

. Small compact village, with nice array of shops, noticeably helpful shop owners. Plenty of restaurants, particularly given the small village size. Close to rail (about 20 km) which makes it easy to get into Florence.
Close to places like San Giminiano and Siena.

Stefano the general manager was outstanding in his customer service- he even drove me to the town of Radda to shop & enjoy the sites - Dimitsia (not sure I’m spelling that correctly)but she was an angel & helped me in numerous ways- the head waiter & staff Andrea & Veronica were awesome every time I had dinner there - the breakfasts were quite varied and had both the bacon I adore & the yogurt & fruit I needed - it really was a sumptuous spread & Francesca & her crew were wonderful- just an all-Around fabulous place to hang your hat for a week or even a weekend!! Thanks to all of you for making my stay wonderful - many thanks!

Radda is a postcard village for the Chianti region perched on a hilltop with great views. We visited about 15 years ago, and it seems as though it has become ever more touristy and the entire town is one big tourist stop which lacks the authenticity that it may once have been. It's lovely, but almost too lovely and manufactured.

It’s a lovely place and we would return and stay longer.
It’s a lovely place and we would return and stay longer. Do need a car otherwise you have to pay more for taxi services as they’re not local. That said staff helped us get to our next location and were very transparent in costs of taxis.
We had a fabulous meal in town a short walk from the hotel. All people we met in shops and restaurants were lovely and welcoming. Do stay here you’ll love it.

Radda in Chianti is a very charming village on top of a hill. It has a pitoresk center and some lovely little shops, selling necessities but also artisanal products. The local restaurants have beautiful settings and great food.

This was our fourth accommodation on this trip and we had been very happy with each one. However, Hotel il Borgo di Vescine was on another level altogether.
This was perfection. Presenting itself as a village where guests come together is exactly how it felt. From the guest houses that tumbled down the hill to the pristine pool with panoramic views, to the cozy bar with greenhouse option, to the fabulous restaurant. All was as promised. Kudos to Director Stefano. None of this would happen without him.
Our stay in Guido’s La Locanda was a truly amazing experience. It is a very remote location, with fantastic views and a lot of nature around. It is ideal for relaxing escape from a busy city life. The atmosphere which you can enjoy during your stay is created by the best host we ever met - Guido. His charm brings people together, which allows you to make friendships with other interesting guest of the Locanda. It was one of our best travel experiences. Thank you Guido.
Beautiful view of the vineyards, breakfast was good with a nice selection of things to eat. Location is on the main road so can be noisy. Best to have a room facing the vineyard. They had a spa but didn't try it. They had many different rooms to sit and relax in. They even had a piano in the lobby. My son played it as much as he could. The pool was also nice. The whole area had a nice quiet relaxing feel to it.
Great location, beautiful house and Christina is a very friendly and lively host who will interact with you and make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. The place lies in an old vinyard and is therefore very quiet and a good place to relax. The region around it is wonderful with a beautiful landscape and many beautiful Tuscan towns to visit. The wine produced on-site is also very good.
Private, remote place with a stunning view. Everything was perfect: the pool, the surrounding of olive trees and vineyards, a lot of space to chill out. Bed was huge and comfortable. Also the view from the toilet window is great 😄 The nearby town of Radda in Chianti is charming, and there is also the Aiola Castle vineyard nearby, which I recommend.
The location was excellent. The hotel was beautiful and had beautiful views. Room was nice and tidy and had good airconditioning. The pool was very nice and also the poolbar. The staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast was very fresh and had good selection. They also had a laundry and ironing service for extra cost, which was nice.
My stay was fantastic but only for 2 nights. I was researching hotels and cycling in the area. Radda is a great village to be based in. I wish I had more time at the hotel where I could have explored the pool/spa areas but it was late October. I plan on using this hotel in the future for our cycling groups.
best place we stayed in our entire trip to Italy! The rooms were immaculately clean, the pool was beautiful and much larger than we thought and SO clean surrounded by vineyards! We were given awesome recommendations for wineries and restaurants to try nearby. absolutely loved it.
The place is really nice in the historical part of the village Rada in Chianti. There are a lot of options to park your car, especially when the day tourist are gone. The village is really quiet and beautiful. The hotel has everything that you need.
This hotel and its grounds is absolutely beautiful, every detail has been thought out. The interior and exterior are perfect, photos cannot do it justice. Wine tasting was the highlight of our trip, thanks to the amazing staff and delicious wine.
The hotel is located outside Radda in Chianti and is hard to find. Breakfast was good for Italian conditions. It is a combination of continental and sweet Italian breakfast. Coffee is excellent as expected. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Guido is the most wonderful host! The property is so beautiful and the house has so much character and warmth. Incredible views and kind staff. The town of Volpaia is a 10 minute drive and very charming with a great winery and restaurants.
A quirky medieval tower right in the heart of Radda in Chianti. The accommodation had everything we needed and more. The outside seating on the top floor was perfect with views over the rooftops to the rolling hills beyond.
Location among the tuscan vineyards and with the hotel being a converted manor house, the settings were idyllic. Very nice staff and nice restaurant that needs to be prebooked to avoid disappointment.
We loved it all !
Every part of our stay, easy to check in. Breakfast and tea and coffee and plenty of yummy Italian treats provided :-)
Perfect location in Radda in Chianti.
