Castelgondolfo is a unigue town. It has a luxury side as well as a somewhat honky tonk side. This hotel is deceptively located so one has to perserver. It has a very nice lakefront swimming access as well as sitting area with view. Some nice restaurants are a short drive away.The hotel itself is wonderful. Rooms are clean, some have a view, and there is a lovely lounge/ bar area. The staff are delightful. I will go again!

Perfect, hidden jewel. Everybody was outstanding, doing anything and everything to make you feel comfortable, The place feels like home, with nice furniture in the living and dining areas, original artwork decorating the walls and fine carpets. The location is right on the lake, very quiet, birdsong awaking you in the morning. If you would like to be inspired, creative or romantic, this is the place, very tranquil and peaceful. The people are so generous and friendly: that they gave us a bottle of wine to enjoy on the patio, right on the lake. One of the few hotels in Italy that served us hot scrambled eggs with ham, cheese and local warm bread for breakfast. Plenty of classy and trendy restaurants within a few kilometers on the lake for fantastic dinners. About 12 minutes drive from Ciampino, with the right GPS directions.

To us this was a real paradise! After Rome we came here to relax and that we did. We had room no. 1, with balcony overlooking the lake. Breakfast in the garden, swimming in the lake, reading books under the Platanus trees was a treat. Castelli Romani towns were beautifull in the area and Georgio the owner will book a table for you in very nice reataurants in Castelgandolfo. Especially Ristorante Pagnanelli is a place we would like to recommend. Do ask for a tour in the wine cellar! Make sure you bring some information and maps of the area with you as the touristoffice is hard to find and the hotel does not provide any. A little platform to get easier in and out of the lake is advisable.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado. Las vistas al lago son impresionantes. Tiene un lugar para tomar sol y bañarse en las aguas trasparentes del lago Albano. Está todo muy limpio y bien organizado

Dieses Hotel war während unseres Rom-Trips das schönste überhaupt!!! Es liegt ca. eine halbe Stunde von Rom entfernt und direkt am See "Lago Albano". Vom Hotel aus kann man quasi direkt in den See springen. Die Zimmer waren toll...modern und zugleich romantisch eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit direkten Blick auf den See. Toller Ausblick! Unser Bett wurde ganz liebevoll bestimmt 2-3 mal am Tag neu gemacht und die Besitzer sowie das Personal (Familienbetrieb) sind sehr freundlich und geben einem gerne Restaurant- und Umgebungstipps. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Das Hotel hat eine sehr schöne Lage direkt am Albaner See! Mit dem Zug ist man in 40 Minuten in Rom. Beim Frühstück geht man auf alle Wünsche ein. Sprachen: Italienisch und Englisch - damit kommt man gut durch. Am 2. Tag wurde unser Nachbarzimmer mit einem weiteren Gast belegt und wir merkten, wie hellhörig die Wände sind. Da das Hotel während unseres Aufenthalts, nur durch drei Doppelzimmer belegt war, konnten wir damit leben. Wir fragen uns allerdings, wie es ist, wenn das Hotel ausgebucht ist....

essentiellement sa situation. Pour le reste il est très moyen. Personnel très sympathique et serviable cependant. chambres vieillottes, forte odeur d'humidité et d'eau stagnante dans la salle de bains - entrée de l'hotel insuffisamment indiquée
