Excellent location. 20m from metro station and exactly over a taxi station. 7' walk from fontana di trevi and 10' walk from piazza di spagna. The room was perfect with view of the square.

In our 5 night stay the sheets weren't changed at all. Average breakfast.

The location for sight seeing was excellent and the room was very comfortable.

Great location - Affittacamere La Dolce Vita Barberini is just a stones throw away from the Trevi, Spanish Steps and the Barberini Metro and Bus links are right on your doorstep. The Snack Bar for Breakfast is excellent. Best Cappuccino, Pastries and Fresh Orange juice in Rome! Room was always clean and tidy and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely recommend to friends planning a trip to Rome and hope to come back one day too. Sarah, Guildford

Great location, great rooms with king size bed and very clean. A lot of monuments are on walking distance (Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna, Pantheon, Piazza Navona etc. Staff very friendly. I recommend!

It's my 4th time in Rome and I chose Dolce Vita having in mind that exceptional 9.1 rating!I Already knew what to expect from this magical city so the point for me was to find a nice central accomodated place to stay with a touch of that Italian flair to fulfill my travel expectations... Sorry,but no with The Dolce Vita...!You don't get dolce vita at all... The room was small and in my opinion a red painted wall with two cinema theme posters on it, is not enough to create the advertised so called Fellini atmosphere! But let's come to some more serious disadvantages.The white walls needed painting,there was almost everywhere dust,and even though everything was new you could not really feel it!The toilet seat was broken(no.4 Room),in three nights stay the towels were never changed,and so happened with the shampoo!I Think the only thing the housekeepers were doing was to make the bed and only that!I Have visited many hotels and never but never found my pajamas thrown away from the bed on my bags just as I had pulled them off in the morning!As for the owners they were just typical and I can't say that I felt a special hospitality...(they didn't even ask me if everything was ok with my stay when I checked out)! The breakfast was just ok...but the bar we had it not something special or "dolce vita"! Concluding,I would like to add a value for money parameter!Knowing that Rome is an expensive city,if I payed around 60 euros per night I would be more tolerant with my critic...But noway for around 100 euros per night if you add the taxes and a couple of water bottles...You can spent the money difference in taxi rides if you choose a cheaper hotel a little further...and earn at least the Italian drive experience!!!That looks like more dolce vita to me...

There's no reception..Way too many keys/cards until you get to your room..If you forget one late at night you're doomed..You have no one to contact

Arrived at 1.15 where the staff were waiting to check us in. very similar to an apartment accommodation but with a reception. room was clean and spacious. in a great location. breakfast is in a little cafe across the road. the gentleman working there was extremely friendly and nice. never really met the staff of the house so can't comment there. but overall really enjoyed my stay

I really enjoyed this place but if tour not used to noise maybe not the best option. I live in city so well used to it

The spacious room, the central location, the well appointed furnishings, the breakfast, the coffee maker, the tv. The staff were so kind.

Perhaps a notice asking guests to speak quietly as the walls are a bit thin.

We loved this room. We stayed a couple days during our honeymoon/trip. The room was clean, comfortable and in a central location across the street from the metro.

I didn't like that there is no reception to meet & greet. As a solo traveller female it felt a little uncomfortable with nobody around a night. Not really a B&B just rooms on the 3rd floor.

Good location for sight seeing, restaurant/cafe bars. Close to metro line. Clean well designed room and comfortable bed. Staff friendly and spoke English. Happy for us to leave luggage for a while on check out. Didnt feel like a hotel more like private residence which we liked

Coming from Rome's termini train station we hopped on the local metro train 2 stops and found ourselves right at our accommodations front door. Massimo was there to welcome us, show us our room and fill us in on goings on in Rome for the next 2 nights. The room was spacious and very well decorated, pictures on their site do not do it justice. Piazza barberini is quite busy with traffic, but thanks to double windows, the noise was shut out. We had a fab view of the barberini fountain. Our room was spotless after servicing. Although it's not always staffed, we felt very safe and secure with 4 doors to unlock. Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps very close by. For a moment of quietness, head up via veneto to villa borghese and have a wander around the lovely green park, frequented by both locals and tourists (note: busier on weekends). All in all, Massimo was the perfect host and the room fantastic and I have, and will recommend it to any family or friends taking a trip to Rome.

The rooms were exceptionally large for Rome and the price was very reasonable. The location was also great and only steps from the metro.

Since it is only rooms for rent there were not the typical hotel amenities such as a front desk or concierge but the attendants were readily available via cell phone.

Rooms are very nice, clean and not so tiny as you might expect in Rome. The breakfast in the nearby bar is good. The location is great. And you will never forget the view of fontana del Tritone from your window. Great price-quality ratio.

You should expect a lot of noise from piazza Barberini. Take your earplugs with you. Also there's some machine in bathroom that makes a strange noise day and night..

The room was very well appointed and it had an overhead shower, which is a bit of an oddity in Italy. Bed was super comfortable.

Great Location. Steps away from Metro. Right on Barberini Square. Comfortable Bed.

Narrow check in window. They requested a time when we would be there. We suggested a rough time. We showed up three hours early and basically had to wait outside and find parking as there was no staff currently there. We tried calling and e-mailing to let them know we were early. No one would respond. Elevator broke during our stay, had to lug our stuff down. No where to unload luggage easily, no were to park conveniently. Not an actual hotel, just a few apartments converted into hotel rooms.
