We were made to feel welcome with a bottle of wine and light lunch on arrival, very friendly and helpful staff who were also able to direct us to the bus (with tickets on loan), restaurants, attractions. We had a gorgeous room and overall the facility was lovely and clean. Felt like we were visiting long lost cousin's! I would definitely say we got our money's worth (note you can only pay cash, no card). I would definitely recommend to friends and family! Thankyou!

We loved the welcome provided by staff which included wine and lunch. Security is fantastic which included car parking. The swimming pool is clean and we'll maintained. Breakfast was good. Smiling friendly Pedro made our stay particularly enjoyable. A wonderful place we would love to return to.

Mozzies are a bit of a problem in summer. Some citronella candles and matches would have made the stay a bit more comfortable.

Staff were fantastic, when we arrived after a tiring 6 hour drive, While we were unpacking Pedro brought over a lovely chilled bottle of their own wine and a huge plate of brochette which was very welcome, both him and Angelo were really friendly and although they spoke very little English and us virtually no Italian they managed to tell us exactly where to get the bus into Florence and the best place to eat. It's a lovely secret little hideaway set in the country side, very relaxing.

Just about the only thing to complain about is that when we went to pay we were told they didn't take payment by card only cash which surprised us, we had to go into town to an ATM, it wasn't a huge problem but held us up a bit. Maybe this should be made clear before you arrive. And when they tell you the swimming pool is cold, they're not joking!!!!!!

Nice and hospitable owners. Cute and quite place with small garden. Good to relax after noizy city. Good breakfast, and tasty local wine. Clean appartment.

Appartment where we stayed are not large. I guess it's too high price for that conditions.

Friendly people, made us feel like home. The surroundings (garden, pool) were also neat and tidy. The room was very clean and spacious, with a porch to the garden. We also had parking space for the car inside the premises. Good breakfast for the Italian standards and every couple of days a bottle of wine was expecting us in the room! I definitely recommend it!

Difficult to find it, a small street sign would help!

Location close to Florence, parking during the day after checkout, bottle of wine as a checkout gift

Staff speaks only Italian, but the owner made a lot of effort to communicate with us over the phone in English before and upon arrival.

We choose this hidden gem in Firenze based on recommendation of my friend...but reality was far higher than we expected.La fattoressa is small pension with good variety of breakfast choise. Coffee, homemade cake, excellent organic marmelade, bruscetta....we loved all. Angelo and Pedro are hereto help you with any wish..he gave us bus tickets to Firenze, even draw a map with bus connections 36, 36A and takes 10-20 minutes to Firenze city centre depends on traffic. Angelo gave us a bottle of red Chianti each evening...this man made our trip unforgettable.

The location is perfect for those with a car although buses from the main street. The owner was very hospitable that he offered a bottle of wine as soon as we arrived. Before leaving for dinner to the center he came to give us the second bottle for free to have for when we return back. The room was amazing, with a back garden and air condition heating facilities and a lovely bathroom. Breakfast is typical Italian with coffee, bread, salami, prosciutto and they can make omelettes for you. We were offered another bottle of wine before we left and stayed to talk with the owner for around 30 minutes. Knowing how to speak Italian helped a lot but the owner is so friendly and hospitable that you can't go wrong with this accommodation!

Wifi is a poor in the rooms, but all ok in the garden and around

Angelo and Mama were very hospitable. He provided instructions and places to visit and made us feel at home. Transport to and from town on the bus was easier than expected, though a little walking. Nevertheless, it was good exercise and a great opportunity to visit the small town shops. Parking was easy and the place felt extremely safe. We enjoyed the setting and hilly scenery.

Breakfast could be with a little more variation.

The family were very welcoming and helpful with directions to local sites. Wine in our room at night was a wonderful surprise after a long day of sightseeing and the bottle given at checkout was enjoyed at our next accommodation.

We got lost in Florence trying to find the place. It is a hidden gem that was not easily found.

Quiet, safe, away from the City. Nice room, excellently remodeled bathroom.

Would have been nice to have a microwave, or coffee maker in the room. Staff were as helpful as they could be, but there was a language barrier. Didn't like having to pay cash for the room, due to poor internet reception according to the owner.
