Beautifully decorated bed and breakfast in the historic part of Salerno. Very good base for exploring the Amalfi coast and the owner gave us great recommendations for food and where to visit. If you like a 'non-hotel' experience, this a gem - beautifully clean, romantically designed with new furniture and lovingly kept.

Opaque doors which let in the hall light... honestly - a tiny thing.

We had a fantastic stay here! The rooms are stunning and excellent value. Our hosts (Giuseppe and Tatiana) went out of their way to help us. They were wonderful and we had great fun communicating in a mixture of English, Italian, French and a lot of hand waving.The location is 2 minutes from the waterfront and right in the centre of town. If you are going to Salerno, just stay here!! We were only sorry we could not stay an extra day....

Giuseppe and Tiziana were wonderful hosts, went out of their way to accommodate our dietary needs. Elegant and restful decor, close to good restaurants, easy to get to main sights. Tiziana makes many of the excellent breakfast pastries herself! "Good" for facilities because steep steps might be a problem for some (weren't for us).

Not a negative, just be aware: the steps are steep (no elevator), and the B&B only takes cash.

The B&B Garconniere is a very welcoming and well managed “small boutique hotel”. We have stayed there only for two days but we really enjoy the break. The hotel is like small apartment, very well designed. The owners are friendly and if you need any guidance ( i.e. best places to eat etc. ) they will help and even take you there. La Garconniere has all the features of 5-start hotel.

We, really, loved Guiseppe's (the owner of La Garconniere) hospitality. He is a very nice & welcoming host & took great care of us. We appreciated the sincere effort he made to please us & we would like to thank his daughter, Juliana, for acting as translator for me.

Unfortunately, because we were staying there on Saturday night & we had one the rooms on one of the main squares in Salerno, there was a lot of noise, from outside, till very late. But apart from this, everything was perfect.

il bello e' stato trovare nel cuore del centro storico di salerno in un palazzo antico e a pochi passi dal mare una suite di gran lusso .....sobria elegante....curata nei dettagli.... il meglio che si puo' cercare per una sosta romantica o di relax .....splendido scenario....dal balcone del terzo piano si scorge un lembo di mare e una piazza calorosa e accogliente...e' il top che si possa scegliere a un costo molto contenuto...ottima anche l'accoglienza dei giovani proprietari...e le squisite torte fatte in casa che abbiamo gustato a colazione. rosa AVELLINO

3 jours exceptionnels dans cette suite à la Garçonnière. Excellent petit déjeuner accompagné de produits maison et locaux. Situation en centre ville, au calme.

Pas d'avis négatif en ce qui nous concerne mais précision utile, de nombreuses marches d'escalier à monter avant d'atteindre le paradis!

Ein luxuriöses B&B mitten in der Stadt. Das beste und aussergewöhnlichste Frühstück, das wir auf unserer Italienreise bekommen haben. Sehr freundliche Betreuung und informative Kommunikation.

… einfach Alles! Das war für uns ein Luxusurlaub, scharmante Möbel, liegt ruhig in der Fußgängerzone, alles in der Nähe, die Bahnstation über die Fußgängerzone erreichbar, der Hafen um die Ecke... , sehr nette Besitzer…

Location impeccabile, i proprietari sono la cordialità in persona. Ottima la colazione e cucina sempre disponibile per piccoli snack pomeridiani. Praticamente al centro di Salerno.

Leggeri rumori non indetificati. Forse la caldaia forse un vano ascensore. ma sono davvero piccolezze.

Assolutamente meraviglioso, tutto perfetto, come da foto se non meglio! Proprietari squisiti, accoglienti e disponibilissimi.Vivamente consigliato per un weekend romantico.

Viaggio spesso per lavoro,ma non ho mai trovato una accoglienza cosi calorosa, i proprietari sono veramente gentili e disponibili. Tutta la struttura...la camera ed il bagno sono davvero curati in ogni dettaglio, di una pulizia che abbaglia! E che dire della colazione? Strepitosa! Non per ultima la location, essendo in pieno centro, tutto è vicinissimo. Ora se tornerò a Salerno so dove andare, alla Garçonniere! Consigliatissimo!

Siamo stati solo una notte, peccato! La struttura davvero bella, accogliente.. e arredata davvero con gusto.Quando si dice stare bene... ogni ambiente è impeccabile da ogni punto di vista, pulizia accuratissima. colazione buona buona buona! I proprietari davvero gentili, e disponibili. E poi la location, nel pieno centro di Salerno e vicino a tutto..la mattina, dopo la colazione, una fantastica passeggiata sul Lungomare, vicinissimo. Beh possiamo solo dire che sicuramente noi ci torneremo. Straconsigliato!

Posizione centralissima, nel cuore di Salerno, ideale per visitare la città e per lo shopping senza utilizzare l'auto. Gestori cordialissimi e sempre disponibili a soddisfare ogni richiesta dei clienti. Perfetta manutenzione della struttura, pulizia ineccepibile. La raffinatezza e la cura dei particolari, ambienti arredati con charme. Colazione super. Io ci tornerò presto, altamente consigliato!
