Nous avons bénéficié d'un trés bon accueil, le personnel était trés aimable, les chambres trés propres, et l'hotel est bien situé, juste à côté de la gare Termini, au centre de Rome, ce qui est pratique. Merci.

Honnêtement, j'ai trouvé la chambre un peu chère par rapport au standard de l'hotel, mais sans doute est-ce du au grand succés de Rome? Peut-être un détail à améliorer; le petit-déjeuner et notamment le café (froid et pas trés bon, dommage pour l'Italie :)

La propreté( linge changé tous les jours), lit fait tous les jours,tres propre, gentillesse du personnel situation géograghique(proche gare+transport en commun bon rapport qualité / prix

Revers de la situation géo: bruit , clostrophobes passez votre chemin pas possible de laisser la fenetre ouverte,mais clim présente. Pas vraiment un B&B,(ne vie pas sur place),a mi chemin entre B&B et hotel !

Le cote chaleureux, un peu comme chez soi.

A Rome du 3 au 7 juin 2012 nous étions logés à la Girandola. Nous recommandons très vivement cet établissement : accueil chaleureux du propriétaire (même s'il ne parle pas le français, se comprendre n'est pas difficile) - chambre et salle de bains très propres - idem pour le linge - qualité du petit-déjeuner (croissants, biscottes, jus de fruits, yaourt...). Que demander de plus ! La qualité de cet hébergement vient compléter le plaisir de séjourner à Rome

Petite structure très calme,accueil charmant,très serviable.Situation parfaite pour les transports et les visites.

L' accueil est tres courtois.Laproprete est impeccable.( Changement du linge tous les jours )Sanitaires impeccables.La situation geographique(proximite de la gare Termini ainsi que des transpots urbains: metro,bus,tramways,150 m environ)est un avantage incontestable.Nous recommandons vivement ce b et B.

Tout prêt de la gare, très propre et très confortable... Le boss ne parle pas un mot de français mais il est très acceuillant

Le bruit de la rue, prévoir des bouchons pour dormir si vous avez le sommeil léger Pas de pain au petit déjeuner (croissant + biscotte)

Situation géographique de l'établissement à côté des 2 lignes de métro. Confort et grandeur de la chambre. Calme durant la nuit.

Bruit du métro le matin mais pas gênant si l'on se lève tôt.

La Girandola est trés bien située pour visiter Rome de façon pratique, la gare est à 50m. Les propriétaires sont sympas et n'hesitent pas à vous aider dans votre visite. Les petits dejeuners sont copieux et servis tôt. La chambre est trés propre et faite tous les jours.

Proximité des transports en commun. Accueil chaleureux du propriétaire (avec qui on aimerait échanger davantage s'il pratiquait un peu de français ou d'anglais...). Service de chambre très soigné. En conclusion, la garantie d'un séjour agréable et de qualité !

We were very impressed by La Girandola. It is only 3 or 4 minutes from the Fiumicino Airport platform at Roma Termini, which is so convenient. The Hotel is outstandingly clean and nicely decorated. Our room had wifi, a safe and a refrigerator and very comfortable twin beds. There was a continental breakfast which was good and having it a bit ahead of the scheduled time to enable us to get to the Airport in time for our flight was no problem at all. The owner, Guglielmo, was so friendly and helpful. He doesn't speak hardly any English but we managed just fine. The Metro is only a few minutes walk away so the whole of Rome is easily accessible from the Hotel. We would recommend this Hotel 100% and if (which we hope will be the case) we ever return to Rome, La Girandola will be our top choice of hotel.

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like!

I was searching a longer time for a good accomodation near termini station. There are hundreds of hotels, b&b´s etc in the area. La girandola was the only one where I didnt find any negative comments in the ratings on booking.com. What I needed was a problem-free internet connection, and in the end, it was only la girandola which offered this. All other bbs either had comments like that its dirty, too loud, unfriendly staff, problems with the wifi, sometimes even that thieves stole things out of the rooms. So I booked la girandola, and it was fine. The boss there needs to be highlighted, such a friendly man, was a real pleasure to meet him. If you are looking for an accomodation at termini , its the best recommendation, compared to all the other bbs. Beware, the termini district is quite tough, best is to walk fast, look at nobody, not talk in a foreign language, also better to wear cheap looking or older clothes and not react once somebody tries to stop and speak to you, also better dont walk alone in the side streets... And mind your pockets, pickpocketing is there on asian level 99, criminality is quite strong there. The termini district is populated by sadly alot of very poor or homeless people, its really disturbing to see this misery of all those poor unfortunate people :* right in the same city where the vatican is hosting such enormous amounts of wealth. Wifi was a 16mbit one, which worked flawless and bugfree 247. the boss said its ok to smoke out of the window. There was a little fridge and a water heater with some tea and sugar, plus in the bathroom some shampoo and white towels. Bed was ok, nothing too luxurious, but clean and simple. Dont expect luxury, its a quite basic but absolutely solid and clean accomodation right next to the big traffic hub which is the termini station, from where you have all the good connections.

It was all like described, so absolutely nothing to moan about.

I loved the hospitality and warmth of the owners, the cleanliness and quietness of the rooms. During our stay, my sister and I had a small problem with the room, the immediately fixed it and the room appeared as good as new. We had a really enjoyable stay.

Just a small issue which is the location close to termini station but we had no problems at all. We had a completely safe trip. This was my second stay at la girandola and I would definitely stay there again!

1. Spacious room, absolutely clean, beautifully designed with new furniture. Very comfortable bed. 2. I stayed in 3 hotels in Rome, only this one has a full length mirror in the bedroom. 3. All necessary amenities, including shampoo and hair dryer are provided. But you have to bring your slippers and tooth brush/paste as for other hotels in Rome. 4. The bathroom is spotless clean, with soft white towels. 5. 3-minute walk from the main exit of Termini Station and only 1-minute walk from the side exit on Via Giovanni Giolitti. 6. The owner is very nice and helpful. He can speak a little English now, together with his body language, adequate for simple communication. I have a special request, which I typed in English with a translation in Italian by Google (copy the Italian translation and use Google to translate it back into English to ensure that the meaning is correct). He gladly agreed, which is out of my expectation. 7. Though this is not a new hotel, but everything looks like new. We feel the owner loves his house so much. 8. The Wi-Fi password as well as other information are typed in English on a sign on the wall.

The owners were so accommodating and friendly.

Excellent location, near to several good restaurants and several key sites. The family welcomed us most warmly and were charming. The rooms were well-furnished and immaculately clean. We enjoyed the small size of this B & B - just 3 rooms -and the efficient double-glazing meant we were not bothered by Rome's traffic. The efficient lift was much appreciated!

Breakfast was fine but we would have appreciated a piece of fruit; not a problem however.

Great location to termini for trains and metro. Manager didn't speak much English but did his absolute best to help us out and direct us to points of interest. Room was decent size and very quiet, no street noise when windows were closed. Tea making facilities a bonus.

Excellent location for around the station. All the staff were excellent and super friendly. Only one of them, Lorenzo, spoke fluent English, but all the rest were able to express themselves wonderfully. Giuamme was especially helpful with all his carefully used English phrases and teaching us Italian. The place is wonderfully clean with a good basic breakfast. There are just three rooms, so it is nice and quiet. I was there with my Mum for 4 nights and we would definitely stay there again.

The house is very close 5 minutes to the Termini station. The host is very warm to us. He offered the coffee and soft drink when we arrived. The room is fully cleaned every day. When we asked for early leave on 7:00, they could prepare breakfast for us in advance. We are moved and would stay again if we come to Roma.

Location was very convenient for travelling from and to Rome by train because it's within um block from the main train station. However it's not a friendly neighborhood at night.
