Fantastic location. It was quiet even though the room faced the main street. All necessary amenities provided. Beautiful breakfast of sliced meats, cheese, breads, and pastries.
Location was central and the room we were in was huge - as was the bathroom. Very comfortable. Breakfast was yummy & sitting out in the courtyard was enjoyable
Location was great! Walking distance to everything you want to see in Florence! I was really close to the Tuscan Wine School where I did a wine tour. The rooms were large and had small balconies with a large TV. I probably had the smallest room but I was a solo traveler. It was plenty of space for me and I had a full bed. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was great! The owner is friendly and nice. They accommodated me and let me check in early.
It feels like Florecne!!!!! Riccardo we already miss you, kisses to Tamara!!!!
Great location, clean, updated, good services. We enjoyed our staying.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The owner was pleasant and funny. The location was near the Ponte Vecchio, where there was entertainment and great views, and was convenient to shops and the bus.
There was no lighting for the closet, making it impossible to see where your clothes were. The bathroom could use some more hooks and shelving. Although it was convenient that breakfast was provided, I would have liked some healthier options (fruit, yogurt, etc.) rather than fatty meats and whole milk and cheese and pastries. There was no ability to unlock the room door from the inside if one locked it with the key from the outside.
Small room !!!
The owner Richardo was very helpful and is an excellent host.
Close to everything. Great outside area to eat and relax in. Very welcoming.
This B&B is SPACIOUS! From ceiling height to the size of the room. Breakfast and coffee were excellent. A stone's throw away from Ponte Vecchio.
Very kind owner, excellent italian breakfast, great location but still quiet inside. Loved it.
Very accommodating host, nothing too much trouble. Great location and facilities. Would like to stay again.
Not a hotel.House with a 4-5 rooms.
Very warm welcoming Ricardo. His recommendation for dinner (Trattoria Marione) was worth visiting. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Dining area and terrace are perfect additions in this B&B. Ideal location by Ponte Vecchio
The best breakfast I have ever had at an Italian hotel (which includes 4* and 5* hotels in Rome and Amalfi) Riccardo amazingly friendly and helpful, great stories and lovely to chat to. The girl who covers his days off is lovely as well. The location is superb, about 100 yards from Ponte Vecchio, great restaurants on the Via San Jacopo. A little supermarket nearby as well. The rooms (while small) are very well decorated in Tuscan country style and comfortable.
It is a little hard to find the first time with crazy Italian street numbering.
The old sailor is pain in the a_ _, but he arranges everything. Very recomended!!!
I liked the owner Ricardo a lot. He was very nice, funny, and helpful.
The room seemed brand new from furniture to linens. The only problem was a bad a odor in the entry room, the breakfast room and in the room itself.
This was our return trip to La Gradiva, the last stay in our Italy adventure. We are from the US and could not have felt more at home !! Everything was wonderful during our stay and we feel the La Gradiva is our new home away from home ! If you are visiting Florence your stay at the B&B will be the highlight. Everything from location to cleanliness and most importantly Ricardo and his Family ! Thank you guys !!! We look forward to visiting again !!
Ricardo and his family are superstars !!! So fun and made us all feel right at home ... Will definitely visit again !!!
I liked everything about this place! Fantastic location, fantastic breakfast. The host/owner of this B&B is a true treasure.
All perfect. The next year I certainly return
The owner Ricardo was so nice, he made our stay unforgettable!
Ricardo was a very considerate, gracious and helpful host. His breakfasts were bountiful and appealing. The newly renovated room was clean, well appointed and cheerful. Proximity to the uffizi, ponte vecchio, boboli gardens, and pitti palace was ideal. Three restraunts in the complex made dining very convenient.DELIGHTFUL useful elevator
all was well
Great value and location. The owner is in the running for the most interesting man in the world.
