The location is great, breakfast amazing, and the room was clean. I would definitely stay again when I'm in Florence.
Hard to find the place at first. Once you do, you won't ever miss it again!
Super close location to Ponte Vecchio (within 200 ft). Room was good-sized and very clean, excellent and modern bathroom. Surprisingly very big and comfortable bed. Also, the location had an elevator which was very helpful with the luggage.
Poor quality of wifi...our laptop could not connect (only our phones could). Old style keys...it was a bit strange, but again, nothing major!
We wanted a base on the quieter side of the Arno, but close to the museums on our list. The B&B was perfect. Ricardo, the owner, served is a great breakfast with charm and loads of hints and history. Perfect!
The location, some items of the breakfast, and the fact that the place is renovated.
Complete lack of soundproofing in the rooms, noise from the corridor and the kitchen, smell from the pipes in the bathroom, the owner never returned us the change when we payed for the room and he wanted us to tip in order to store our luggage for a few hours, the breakfast was good but not abundant and the orange juice was not fresh. All in all, not a B&B that deserves a 9/10, I would say a 7/10, the owner should either provide the guests with more services or reduce the price.
The location is good and within a 5 minute walk to the Ponte Veccio and Pitti Palace. There are many shops and restaurants in the area. Breakfast was good - fresh pastries from a local bakery as well as a meat and cheese plate. The coffee was good and strong.
Arriving was a bit confusing. The owner was not there, but we eventually were shown our room and given a key by a shop owner down stairs from the B&B. We weren't given any info including the WIFI password. I emailed the owner, but never received a response. The next day still no Owner but I was able to get it from someone else. While the bed and room in general were ok, the bathroom and bedroom floors were dirty and in need of a good mopping. The shower could have used a scrubbing as well. My husband's white socks were filthy by the end of our stay. The plumbing is very loud and if you don't close the lid before flushing, there is an unpleasant Oder. I'm not sure how this B&B has received such high ratings. For the price, I wasn't expecting 5stars, but I was disappointed due to the excellent ratings it had received.
Location is perfect, if you dont know florence, you can think the hotel is out of the city center, but actually its not, very safe for alone travellers and the owner, is a perfect, enjoyable person!
the central location of the B&B is just brilliant and really convenient. Ricardo, the owner, really makes sure his guests are well taken care of at breakfast. Very accommodating and entertaining as a host.
Given the central location, if you are a light sleeper, the particular room that I had, is very noisy. Would have been nice to have own coffee making facilities in the room.
I stayed at this apartment with a friend in a twin room. The rooms were spacious with a balcony and although centrally located, very quiet. Breakfast was really good and it was lovely to sit out on the terrace to enjoy the morning sunshine.
Location in the city center (100 meters from Ponte Vecchio, at the Palazzo Pitti side), very friendly owner and staff, convenient public parking nearby (within 100 meters too, although at the standard Florence price of 25 euros per day)
Credit cards are not accepted, so it's needed to reserve sufficient cash amount
location close to Ponte Vecchio.
Access. Front doorbell inoperative. Staff not always there.
I loved my room, it was very homely and comfortable with a large flat screen TV and very soft double bed. The manager Riccardo was very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay.
The B & B was a little hard to find but the local shopkeepers were very helpful and pointed it out to me.
Fantastic location. It was quiet even though the room faced the main street. All necessary amenities provided. Beautiful breakfast of sliced meats, cheese, breads, and pastries.
This is not an usual B&B. You'll have to arrange with the owner for him to go give you the keys but, he is awesome and really helpful. The room in itself is a simple but clean room but with all you need. From the little balcony, you could see all the movement of the street but, with the door closed, there's no sound in the room. The locations is just perfect. Right near Ponte Vecchio and a really short walk from Piazza dei Pitti. The breakfast is simple but enough and delicious. I will definitely come back to La Gradiva if I go to Firenze again and I will never recommend it enough.
Nothing bad to say about it ^^
Location was central and the room we were in was huge - as was the bathroom. Very comfortable. Breakfast was yummy & sitting out in the courtyard was enjoyable
Owner is kind and warm, room is clean and comfortable, breakfast is delicious. Feeling at home, very relaxed.
Nothing, but it is little difficult to find the gate.
Location was great! Walking distance to everything you want to see in Florence! I was really close to the Tuscan Wine School where I did a wine tour. The rooms were large and had small balconies with a large TV. I probably had the smallest room but I was a solo traveler. It was plenty of space for me and I had a full bed. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was great! The owner is friendly and nice. They accommodated me and let me check in early.
It feels like Florecne!!!!! Riccardo we already miss you, kisses to Tamara!!!!
Great location, clean, updated, good services. We enjoyed our staying.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The owner was pleasant and funny. The location was near the Ponte Vecchio, where there was entertainment and great views, and was convenient to shops and the bus.
There was no lighting for the closet, making it impossible to see where your clothes were. The bathroom could use some more hooks and shelving. Although it was convenient that breakfast was provided, I would have liked some healthier options (fruit, yogurt, etc.) rather than fatty meats and whole milk and cheese and pastries. There was no ability to unlock the room door from the inside if one locked it with the key from the outside.
Small room !!!
The owner Richardo was very helpful and is an excellent host.
Close to everything. Great outside area to eat and relax in. Very welcoming.
This B&B is SPACIOUS! From ceiling height to the size of the room. Breakfast and coffee were excellent. A stone's throw away from Ponte Vecchio.
Very kind owner, excellent italian breakfast, great location but still quiet inside. Loved it.
Very accommodating host, nothing too much trouble. Great location and facilities. Would like to stay again.
