La Locanda Del Fiordo  

Hotel La Locanda del Fiordo is located at the very brink of rocks. We spent there New Year night and slept with the sound of waves. Room was big enough for us 4, breakfast nothing special just common meals. We liked views - it's AMAZING! Staff - helpful, guy ordered a free pick-up car from nearest restaurant and helped with our luggage also (it's not so easy to carry it on all this stairs:))

The only minus for me - there is no tea or coffee facilities in the room.

A bit hard to reach Amalfi and Positano without a car. Well, the bus stop exactly in front of the hotel entrance, but buses do not come so often, at least at the end of October.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Location is on its own so it is not close to other attractions of he ares. It is on the edge of the cliff with a fantastic view. For those who want to relax without the hazards of driving, the bus stop is just at the hotel with a good local bus service to Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento. We ate in the restaurant both nights of our stay and the food was excellent especially the very fresh local seafood.

It's a family run hotel, cozy and friendly, from the hotel staffs to the chef and even the lady owner. Nicolas who s the front desk and waiter is excellent, helpful and great service. A sall hotel but with an awesome and fanatic view of the cost. You can soak in the juccuzi by the coast or dive into the Mediterranean sea for a dip. Very charming and homely place to be.

A little too many flies when the Weather gets hot. Even so, we still enjoy our stay and would like to return.

Everithing is so good! Easy to find the hotel. Staff was very friendly and carefull. The hotel's restorant is very cozy and local dishes are excellent quality fresh and tasty! Unbelievable view from the room terrace. The sea is very clean and warm. Beach's accessories are new, clean and comfortable. The hotel location is very comfortable. Parking is not so big because of rock location but parking organisation as well. Actually we did not need anything outside of the hotel. Just relax and enjoy the live into the Locanda. Thanks sincerely to the Locanda's staff: Eliana, Luigie and Nicola! We are looking forward to visit them again and we recommend this hotel to our friends. Of cource for everyone! Is the 10+.

There is no something what we did not like in the hotel.

Lovely location with access to the ocean down winding staircase.

Expensive fresh fish main course, otherwise extremely nice place.

This is a wonderful, relaxed place to stay - fabulous setting and just amazing rooms built into the cliff with stunning views. The terraces are a fantastic place to relax, completely secluded and with amazing views. The staff are really friendly and the food was great too.

l'emplacement exceptionnel , le point de vue et l'originalité de cet hôtel situé sur une falaise . Grande disponibilité du patron très sympathique. Facilités pour se rendre à Capri depuis l'hôtel.

évidemment difficultés de déplacement dans l'hôtel pour personnes d'un certain âge (marches nombreuses ..). Petit déjeuner moyen . Chambre quadruple étroite.

Überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit, - jeder Wunsch wurde erfüllt, - ausgesprochen gutes, frisches Essen.

מיקום המלון מרהיב ביופיו, נוף עוצר נשימה. החדר שקיבלנו היה נוח ונעים. מיקום מצויין עם קירבה לתחנת האוטובוס וחניה צמודה למי שצריך. ארוחת בוקר שגרתית לאזור אך מספקת. צוות קשוב וחביב.

Alles großartig

La tranquillité , une vue impressionnante sur la mer. Les petites terrasses en escaliers sur la mer sont très romantiques Cachées dans la végétation; ce sont aussi des petits coins de fraicheur. Très bonne literie.la gestion de l hôtel est familial et Le personnel est charmant et très serviable. La proximité avec Amalfi 15' en voiture . L arrêt de bus juste en face de l hôtel. Pour la cuisine je conseil la : Calamarata : exceptionnelle

La robinetterie de la salle de bain serait à revoir

Omulīgas terasītes katram numuriņam, lai arī kustība uz istabām notiek gar tām, jūties tajās netraucēti. Burvīgs saullēkts, atrodoties starp mežonīgiem augiem, smaržojošiem krūmiem un glītiem puķu podiem. Ļoti atsaucīgs un draudzīgs personāls.

Savu laiku nokalpojusi dušas kabīne. Vienā no numuriem nebija loga. Kāpnēm uz jūru bīstami bojātas margas.

L'aspetto che piu mi ha colpito è la cordialità del personale, si ha davvero l'impressione di essere a casa. La quiete di cui si gode prendendo il sole nelle terrazze di cui l'hotel dispone. Panorama mozzafiato.

Se destaca la atenta atencion de su dueño Luigi, la unica observacion es muy pequeño el gabinete de ducha, pero nos trataron excelente y sin duda volveriamos. La vista es inmejorable.

Uns hat gar nichts gefallen und sind nach 1 Nacht wieder abgereist. Das Hotel ist stark renovierungsbedürftig. Es gibt sogar Zimmer ohne Fenster. Die Zimmer sind muffig und feucht. Die Einrichtung des REstaurants ist entsetzlich Das Frühstück ist sehr unappetitlich. Der Zugang zum Meer nicht sehr vertrauenswürdig. E gab sehr viele Mücken

отличный отель для тех, кто не любит плескаться на переполненных пляжах. прекрасные виды, чистейшее море, мы подобно орлам жили в нашем жилище на скалах, ныряешь с маской и видишь множество рыб, и километровую бездну прозрачной воды под собой. на терассе растет виноград, есть джакузи ,ты сидишь в теплой воде и видишь только скалы, замок в скале напротив, и вечерние огоньки городка позитано вдали. полный релакс.

Qualche problema di isolamento acustico quando ci sono vicini nottambuli... La discesa a mare pericolosa: scaletta incrostata di patelle e scivolosa, I due gradini sommersi molto disagevoli e la mancanza di qualche mancorrente sulla scala; allestimento della prima colazione sulla terrazza inferiore sia per comodità sia per bellezza

la colazione è mediamente preconfezionata e potrebbe essere molto migliorata viste le specialità del luogo.ad esempio una spremuta di agrumi invece del succo di arancia in tetrapack o marmellate e miele locali. ..

Het hotel ligt op een prachtige locatie De kamers zijn schoon en hebben een eigen terrasje. Voor wie van bochtige wegen houd is de weg er naar toe verschrikkelijk mooi ondanks dat hij lang en druk is.

De weg er naar toe is lang, bochtig en druk. Wanneer je niet van hoogte houd is het geen fijne weg. De prijs/kwaliteit van het restaurant kan absoluut beter. Men betaald veel voor weinig eten. Door het feit dat het geen fijne weg is om te rijden stap je niet in de auto om naar een ander restaurant te rijden. Te voet over de weg is geen optie andere restaurants zijn te ver.

Excellent location in the center of Amalfi and Positano, with private access to the sea. The room has a terrace overlooking the sea and quiet motion.
