The decoration is of good taste, a mix of modern and style furniture. The rooms are very big and confortable. Beautifull view over the lake from the terrasse. Very nice employees will help you as much as they can.
Only one key and remote control for the gate per room makes it a bit complicated if you are not all comming back together. Breakfast is just OK
View from our room.
No facilities for getting a drink at any time during the day or evening, Unless eating in the restaurant which was very expensive and we were not given a choice or a menu to look at. No bar(apart from extortionate priced items in small minibar in room) eg peanuts 3 euros which we replaced like for like from local supermarket for 20 cents!!! A wedding was on on the Saturday so we were not allowed in the restaurant or outside on the terrace. Entry, parking and signs for the hotel are totally inadequate and dangerous.
beautiful view over the lake
the entrance door the room was practically opeing to the parking area. as soon as you entered the room, strong smell of mould/ wet damage welcomed you.oriental carpet was dirty and so was the floor--dead flies, dust lining the wallsides. breakfast's guality was poor and three members of staff were "talking" very lould just next to the buffeetable which was very annoinig-- no peace for the guests. 100e /per night was robbory
- Got upgrade to a better room without payment due to unconvienences - Friendly old big dog - Kindly stuff - Very nice view over lake
- be stuck in elevator - first we got wrong room - broken window opening advice in room
1-we didn't have hot water for two nights.there was a problem with hot water system 2-They changed their price after confirmation.
Rooms and the view
Breakfast was no good.
Great views from balcony, tasteful décor, cosy atmosphere
Reception staff only spoke Italian - all communication had to be done by typing our questions into Google Translate...
The vew, the wonderful cakes, the kindness of the staff
The host was a warm friendly gentleman little english prefered to speak in French. Parking was adequate on site.
Absolutely every thing. This is great place out of beaten path in the beautiful region, with extremely helpful staff, actually this is the mature couple who runs it, gourgeous facilities, and incredible view to the lake Albano. And it us greatly located for confortable exploration of the Castely Romani which it self a marvoluoys plase to visit.
A great location overlooking The Lake, beautiful rooms, dinner in restaurant excellent with great hosts. Close to enough to Ciampino but in a beautiful countryside setting.
Nothing, it's a lovely place to stay and we stayed there for one night two years ago. This time we stayed for two nights but wish it was longer.
We booked a budget room but were upgraded, for a small negotiable additional charge, to a better room which had wonderful views over Lago Albino and facilities outside in which to relax and enjoy the view. The staff and management were very friendly and helpful; the bedroom was spacious and comfortable with cooking and fridge facilities if required; the dining room for breakfast was magnificent (we did not have dinner as were committed elsewhere) and were able to use the facilities uninterrupted.
Incredible views Family run Great facilities Lovely owner Very Italian authentic
You need a car when your there
Amazing place! The owners are really Italian hosts: very warm and helpfull. The dog Lulla is a plus!!!
It would be better to have a higher shower once we're not used to use the bath tube.
The breakfast while traditional was superb. The pastries were absolutely wonderful and were accompanied by your choice of beverages, yogurt, bread and homemade jam, and a hardboiled egg. The dog, Lu-La, while a Giant Canne Corso, is a cream puff who loves to be petted and will follow you all around the property but not into any of the facilities.
I can see where parking at times of full occupancy could be problematic, but given the owner's desire to please I'm sure there is an appropriate solution should such a problem truly arise
