Staff spoke excellent English. The accompanying restaurant was amazing with a great wine list. Definitely happy to stay there again |

Staff were excellent. Very warm and welcoming. They were helpful in finding train and boat timetables and in recommending restaurants etc. We enjoyed an outstanding dinner at the hotel restaurant which made our stay very special. An exceptionally well stocked wine cellar. |

Thoroughly enjoyabe stay at La Locanda Di Colombo. This small family run hotel is a great place to stay and is perfectly located in Santa Margherita. The staff were very friendly and helpful and their hotel is clearly a labour of love. Highly recommended. |

This is a very small B&B. But each room is newly remodeled and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding. They even include the newpaper of your choice. The only problem is parking, but that is will all of this city. Centrally located to the city and beach. |

The owners were very helpful - we did not have the opportunity to have dinner but the menu looked good. The hotel b eds were very comfortab le, the furnishings were contemporary with a very modern double showered bathrrom, very well furnished and very good value for money. Very close to the seafront although in a back street of Santa Margheurita. |

Wonderful customer service - owners Masimilliano and Raffaella, and staff member Julia were so helpful with any questions, travel suggestions, etc. Their accommodations were superb, in a beautiful location near the sea and walkable to everywhere including beach, town, train station, sights. A hidden gem. |

The hosts were exeptionally helpful and pleasant. The food was excellent, as was the room: Clean, comfortable, good air-conditioning. The location is just a short walk from the waterfront, and the outside dining area is lovely. It's a perfect b&B. I recommend it highly! |

Family-owned small locanda with very nice and helpful owners/personell! Very good and modern room with a big bathroom (we stayed in room nera). The individually prepared breakfast was excellent! No good parking nearby. Some fruits or vegetables included in the breakfast would be nice. |

This little boutique guesthouse is a real find - it sets the standard for some of the huge, luxury and very expensive chain hotels. I'd definitely stay here again and would recommend it without reservation! |

Absolutely wonderful. The room was clean, modern and very well presented. The bathroom was huge by Italian standards with a DOUBLE SHOWER. The restaurant was a gourmet delight (and we recommend the Lamb). The hostess spoke good English and was very friendly and welcoming and went out of her way to be helpful. |

Extremely nice Hotel! Very easy access from the station, (5min walk) contemparaly designed room just two years old, family operated very friendly atmosphere. There are several nice ristorantes within 5min walk. |

My daughter and I thouroughly enjoyed our stay at La Locanda Di Colombo. The room and bathroom were beautifully decorated,spotlessly clean and extremley comfortable. The hotel restaurant was also first class and we ate there both nights of our stay. Massimiliano & Raffaella were so friendly and helpfull and really should be congratulated for running such a first class establishment. |

We had the red room. Very nice experience. Perfect place for a short break with your girlfriend/spouse. Very comfortable beds and quiet location. One of the best places I have ever staied. |

When we arrived they said they were waiting for us, the hostess and the host were very kind to everybody. The location was in the middle of the town but however quiet and peaceful. |

Totally agreed with the other reviews-this hotel has a fantastic location and wonderful owners. Raffaella really went out her way and was a fantastic host! We really enjoyed our stay there and the wonderful town that is Santa Margharita Ligure. |

It was a pleasure to stay at this small family run inn. The hosts were both charming people who have achieved a unique and satisfying combination of a first class restaurant with excellent accommodation. The rooms were modern, well designed and comfortable. Quite a jewel set in the centre of the lovely seaside town of Santa Margherita. No complaints |
