Clean rooms Nice hotel Very helping reception Nice breakfast Very close to railway station Washroom big enough and clean
Wifi was a bit slow Not bad but could have been better
Not being able to take the room key with us. Felt our belongings were unsafe as room key and safe key were held by hotel.
Location is excellent, approx 3 min walk from the train station and Breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful.
The weather was cold, room comes with all basic facilities except a kettle. Each time I need to go to the reception to get boiling water.
Everything was good very welcome polite helpful people great service!! Definitely will go back .
everything is perfect. the staff are very friendly. they provide hot water when you need and give a lot of useful suggestions. good english communication.
nothing to find fault with.
We liked everything , the location , the room was very clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was amazing! Staff were great and helpful to all our needs! Also helped us with luggages up the stairs, we would definitely go back! K
I spotted one or 2 mosquitoes at night!
Breakfast was more than sufficient. Location excellent and thus as easy as it can be in Venice for a foreigner to find your way from La Locanda to St Marks, Rialto Bridge etc. Very close to the station. Good restaurants close by and foodshops where alcohol and take away meals could be bought. Was good to speak my own language (Afrikaans) with the owner, although his mother tongue is Dutch - amazing, it seems as if he is fluent in a couple of languages.
Bathroom was extremely small, but for the money I paid I cannot complain.
# Location - Just a stone's throw from Venice Santa Lucia station. # Staff - Very helpful, polite & courteous. # Room - Excellent. Spacious, vintage furniture. Gives a very homely feel. # Breakfast - Wide selection of croissant's, cakes, fruits, etc. The coffee is wonderful. # Value for money - I will say yes when compared to other hotels in Venice. Generally hotels in Venice Island is little costlier to hotels in mainland Venice. # Quality of Sleep - Excellent, since it is in a quite area, so sleep was peaceful.
Nothing except that there is no elevator. But the stairs are not too steep.
The hotel is extremely well located, close to the train terminal, water bus station, restaurants and shopping. The room was clean and adequate and the staff very friendly and helpful. Although so close to amenities no noise was experienced. Be warned - no lifts.
The bed and pillows were hard and a little uncomfortable. Breakfast should include eggs.
Location. Close to bus and train stations and easy to get everywhere in Venice. Very friendly helpful staff.
Very close to Venice Santa Lucia Train station. Excellent service by the team. There's air conditioner or heater in the room. Wifi is complimentary and speed is good.
Room looks old, and toilet is small.
Friendly and helpful staff
Staff very friendly and efficient. Breakfast had nice selection of pastries wonderful coffee selection. Location was great short walk from the train station.
The location was good especially if you're travelling by train. It's only a short walk from the Santa Lucia train station. One of the front desk staff helped us find a way to get off the beaten path, so we enjoyed our day away from the crowds. Breakfast was good.
Our room was on the main floor at the back and it was very dark and small. I expected more for what we had to pay. It certainly didn't look like any of the room pictures I saw on the website. We were disappointed.
stayed in Venice for two nights. The staff in Rome were rude but these guys were really friendly and helpful. The hotel was right next to the station which is extremely convenient. We slept very well as there was no noise from the outside. Cold breakfast everyday. Would definitely stay there again.
Mobilier floor stone
The staff were very friendly and helpful Breakfast was good and plentiful Coffees were excellent Tha location was excellent, close to the grand canal, water taxi stop, plaza Roma and the train station. Tastefully decorated in Venetion style.
The pillows were not the most comfortable. No elevator- it was a bit of a work out getting my suitcase up to the second floor.
We chose the hotel because of it's proximity to the station, five minutes walk. It was perfect, close to restaurants and the Grand canal. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman who served us at breakfast, there was a great choice of foods and coffees. Our room was very clean and comfortable and we would certainly recommend the hotel to friends. If you have a lot of luggage, there are people who will carry it for you for 15 euros.
Location, quiet but close to the Canal and Train station. Nice sized room, The breakfast, very good ( pastries, excellent rolls),the Barista, was wonderful. Liked the friendliness of the staff, they couldn't do enough for you to make your stay good......very accomodating..
There was nothing we didn't like. Would stay again and recommend to family and friends.
Basic but clean. Staff all very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast very good.
Good location near the Train and Bus Station and two vaporetto stops.Very friendly helpful staff, super continental breakfast, and the best capuccino in town.Very good value for money,if you don't want to be right in the centre and you're ok with the walking.Room and shower small but fine as a base for a super holiday.
Would have liked tea/coffee making in the room, and a bar.
Great location, a few steps to train station and vaporito station. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff was helpful in giving information. The breakfast was very good.
Everything, the warm friendliness of the staff, the charming and comfortable bedroom and bathroom and the splendid breakfasts! Also this was booked for our 25th wedding anniversary and so the champagne brought to our room was a special surprise!
In such a busy city as Venice a hotel just minutes from St.Lucia train station and water taxis is a great bonus. Clean comfortable rooms away from the noise and bustle of the crowds allows a good nights sleep and in the morning a good breakfast awaits. The staff at reception are friendly, helpful and speak good English. Whether it is a Cruise, a train journey or just a stroll down the alleyways this hotel is in a perfect location and we would have no hesitation in recommending it.
This property is literally a couple of hundred steps from the train station. That's important because you won't have to lug your heavy baggage over the canals (by bridge, expensive taxi or crowded vaporetto) to a farther location. Nevertheless, a vaporetto stop right there enables you to go anywhere cheaply and with ease.
