Location. On the main drag -by the Duma. Easy to get to from the train -funicular then a short bus and 50 meter walk. Very accommodating -let us store our luggage while we went elsewhere

Esta ubicado a menos de 200 mts. De la catedral de Orvieto, que es una joya arquitectonica, en una calle con lindos negocios y cafes. El edificio antiguo es precioso, y las habitaciones son enormes y decoradas con buen gusto, respetando la estructura y los frescos originales. La propietadia muy agradable. El desayuno se sirve en el cafe que esta abajo, parte del edificio. Es un lugar encantador. Las tortas caseras.

Solo que cuando llegue me notificaron que estaban haciendo un cambio de banco con las tarjetas de credito, por lo tanto me pedian disculpas pero tenia que pagar en efectivo. Eso para alguien que viene de Argentina puede ser un gran problema, sobre todo en los ultimos dias de sus vacaciones...Habria que avisarlo con anterioridad.

Great location near the Cathedral, where the corporal with the Blood from the Eucharistic Miracle is kept. Staff were really lovely.

The coolness factor of the rooms, being in a centuries old building with fresco painted ceilings while still enjoying modern comfort. And don't forget, Serena, the most awesome hostess you could hope for at a b&b in Italy. She spoke English very well and was very pleasant to deal with.

The owner was friendly and hospitable. The room was lovely, we could come and go as we pleased, and the location was great for getting around Orvieto.

This place was a wonderful respite in a charming Umbrian village. The owner is very nice and helpful. She speaks excellent English and made us feel right at home. Our breakfast was served at the Bar next door where her brother works and serves excellent coffee. Everything about our room was perfect... Brand new bath with a great shower, wonderfully soft sheets on a comfortable large bed, and the double pane windows keep the noise from the street completely blocked out. It's also just a short walk from where the bus drops you off at the Duomo in the square. We were very impressed!

I booked a room and got a spacious appartment! In the heart of the town in a historic building but very quiet at night. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was served in the adjacent cafe, also run by family member. I would definitely stay again.

The excellent accommodation and central location. The rooms were beautifully furnished and tasteful in every way. A great amount of space with good cooking facilities and very good bathroom facilities. Highly recommended apartment.

The hostess was very friendly and attentive to my needs. She even packed me a really big breakfast to go when she heard that I had to leave early the next day and couldn't make it to the breakfast on time. Parking was a bit far from the B&B but it was free. I absolutely recommend this place. Very peaceful, clean, beautiful and romantic B&B.

Serena was a lovely hostess, and the room was very nice and in a great location - very near the duomo. As a very nice, unexpected bonus, we were able to do our laundry there, which was a tremendous help. We spent 3 nights there and were very pleased and happy with the accommodations. Orvieto is a wonderful town and La Magnolia a great place to stay.

La Magnolia is an elegant bed and breakfast. The room we had was clean, comfortable and spacious, with a high window that opened out with a view to the beautiful rooftops of Orvieto. When we wanted quiet and privacy the double windows closed and shuttered to shut out the city noise. It is located about 200 yards away from the breathtakingly beautiful duomo of Orvieto, Our hostess was friendly and helpful, access was easy, and a delicious. breakfast of cappuccino and pastry made available for free from the cafe immediately below La Magnolia. When our hostess learned that we were leaving very early on our last morning to catch a train she even packed us snacks for the ride. It also helped us very much that she spoke fluent English. To top it off the price was great!

I enjoyed La Magnolia. The room was big and airy and the location was superb. Serena, our hostess, was so helpful and enthusiastic, it made our stay that much better!

Magnolia In March 2012 we visited Orvieto enjoying the early springtime in Italy, and spring and sunny weather we had. We booked the room at Magnolia by internet, and were exited to discover what we had booked? A room only a few hundred meters from Piazza Duomo and situated on the “high street” of Orvieto with a charming view to a small piazza and with a well equipped little kitchenette. Both rooms decorated with the local speciality, wooden carved birds, cats and trees! In our room we enjoyed the sound of happy voices from the busy street and all the bells of the city. If you want silence the modern windows let out all sounds from the city, but who go all the way to Italy to have totally silence? Magnolia is run by the kind and helpful Selena and the breakfast is served in the bar downstairs run by her brother, where the locals have their daily espresso, a drink and a chat.

La cura con cui si sono scelti i particolari che servono a rendere un soggiorno confortevole. Inoltre i materiali di qualità usati per infissi e pavimenti.

La scala per salire, ma purtroppo quella è inevitabile.

Il palazzo antico con affreschi in canera, la cortesia dei proprietari, la vicinanza al Duomo e alle vie principali

Forse la colazione al bar anche se i dolci erano ottimi e fatti a mano, il prezzo non troppo economico

Esta ubicado a metros de la catedral de Orvieto, una maravilla! El edificio es antiguo, con mucho encanto. La duena del bb muy amable. La habitacion amplisima, con un bano absolutamente nuevo, y todos los ambientes con frescos en el techo..Precioso. Se desayuna en el bar de abajo que es de la familia, es un lugar encantador.

Que se me avisara ahi que no se podia pagar mas que en efectivo por un cambio de banco o algo asi en tramite. Para alguien que viene de Argentina eso puede ser un gran problema...

The charming lady-owner does everything to make her guests feel at home. She even brings breakfast (a lot of delicious local sweets, juice, coffee, yogurt) into the room. The hotel is right in the center, two steps from the magnificent Cathedral. The area is very quite and safe. You can leave your luggage on the last day if you stay longer in the town, and then come and pick it up any time.
