Easy and quick walking access to town. Free parking. Facilities, including swimming pool, small playground, and small cafe.
Wifi was only available in the cafe, not in the apartment. Lots of mosquitoes.
With access to Sorrento town through an adjacent locked gate , the position could not be better. Facilties on adjacent camp site accessable and convenient .
location is good for strolls both to Sorrento and to Marina Grande which was a hidden surprise and we took the opportunity to have a relaxing drink overlooking the water. Two nights would have been the right length of stay for this residence.
Noise from other residents and usually I sleep well with noise. The residence next door is a camping ground. We didn't use the kitchen facilities as it didn't look like it could cater for 4 people.
Welcome and great accommodation. BEST pizza anywhere in Southern Italy. Staff is friendly and pleased to have you stay.
The quietness away from the hustle-bustle of the city.
Good access to the city. Pleasant
It is a campground and would have preferred hotel. None available at a reasonable prioce.
Nice quite location just a few minutes walk from bustling Sorrento. The apartments are situated in a large villa that is located away from the nice campsite but guests can use the sites clean pool and restaurant. Ask for the room at the top or for one with a large balcony.
Very nice and comfortable houses and rooms, close to the center, very helpful and kind owners. They even had the foresight to give us umbrellas, to protect us from the upcoming rain
An amazing gem hidden amongst the olive groves with a beautiful view and close to town.
Close to sorrentos main strip. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms we're clean and spacious.
Size of pool for the amount of users was too small. Pool closing time was 6pm.
The green area, open space and fantastic view
Check out too early
The place is just perfect 10 minutes wlking to the beach and to the center of the town. and the garden was perfect.
the wi fi was not in the room and was very week.
Beautiful grounds, on site restaurant convenient and food excellent. Walking distance to downtown Sorrento.
shower needs updating
The location is perfectly situated for enterance to Sorrento, with comfortable accommodation that has a homely feel.
Being surrounded by an orchard is charming but does obviously have lots of insects that like to drink your blood. Ensure you have insect repellant to hand, and bite relief for the sneaky ones that slip through.
Our quadruple room was decent, clean, and private. Hotel zone was almost completely separated from the camping zone which we barely heard any noise. The staff were so kind and helpful. There's a stair from the hotel to walk down to the sea, but the beach is not that beautiful. Anyway the swimming pool was nice and clean. Don't expect a nice sea view from the hotel. All in all we loved the place.
Great apartment in a beautiful garden full of fruit trees. Usage of good swimming pool on campsite next by included. Very clean.
The lady that welcomed us was very friendly and helpful. The location was great, a short walk to town. The lovely garden with lemon grove, sadly our room was on the other side overlooking flats.
Lots of little things: having to wash pots in the toilet sink, having to keep your foot on the shower door as the catch was missing, mold in shower, only one mirror, no change of towels in 6 days, view over residential block, staff telling me the only good non touristy place to eat was in their refectory, only one communal table outside. I am guessing a room on the other side of the building would give a totally different experience, nice view and own table.
The staff could not be more Accommodating. The restaurant was very reasonably priced. The apartment was large and clean and the grounds were beautiful.
Some of the beds were very firm but I'm sure it's a personal preference.
My family and I stayed in an apartment at La Neffola Residence recently (there were 5 of us). The apartment, itself, was fine but what we didn't realize is that it's located in a campground where most of the people are in tents and RVs. We think that the pictures that are shown online are a little deceiving. The location isn't bad. It's a short walk through a gate to which we had a key, to the old town where there's lots of shopping and restaurants, etc. It's also a relatively short walk to the port which was convenient for our day trip to Capri. (Tip for visiting Capri: call ahead and make sure the Grotta Azzura is open the day you're planning to go - it wasn't open when we went because of rough water.). The apartment was one living area with 2 beds and a separate bedroom. It was big enough for the 5 of us and there was a little kitchenette (but we didn't use it).
We didn't realize we were staying at a campground and it felt like we were lower than street level.
Staff perfect,Location house gard en we love all
Close to the town centre, laundromat, grocery store. Very nice garden setting, unit overlooking nearby buildings.
No WiFi. No service after checking. Unsure who was in charge of the apartment as the office was closed most of the time. We needed information on WiFi access, laundromat etc. and after two days found someone who could help us. This was possibly because we were there in November?
Great one bedroom apartment spacious and clean close to town, great pool and views cheap restaurant great food thank you
Sometimes strange smell outside
Even though it took some time to recognize the sign outside of the place, we got there safely (the entrance is hazardous especially because of the road). The room was ok, clean with a refrigirator and electric kettle and stove. The place is 10 minutes walk of main piezza and the great thing here was the free parking. It is almost impossible to fibd a parking space, let alone a free one.
Too bad the room was downstairs and the feeling was like sleeping Iin a basement. All in all the place is recommended!
The Residence is a haven is a busy tourist town. The stone built residence is charming spacious and well appointed. The staff could not have been more helpful, we got lost on the way from Naples airport and the manager stayed back to settle us into the Residence after midnight. We really felt welcomed and enjoyed the quiet serenity of the gardens. It is pleasant stroll to the centre of town and down to the port. Its was a treat to watch the grapes being pressed, then to drink their brand of wine later in the resturant with very tasty food. Overall a fantastic place made our stay in Sorrento extra special.
Location great, lovely gardens, quiet. Lovely stroll to Marina or Sorrento town. Loved Sorrento, Amalfi, Capri. Obviously expensive. Lots to see and do. We could have booked the apartment for half price if booked direct, instead of the extortionate near on £1,000 a week, for very basic/poor accommodation. Wouldn't have felt so hurt/cheated if it was half the cost.
Not worth the extremely expensive cost for the most basic accommodation. Could have got a lot cheaper deal booking direct, almost half the price.Shower door broken, sink plug broken had to unplug with knife. Sofa in bedroom not lounge, had to sit on uncomfortable wicker dining chairs to watch telly with no English channels other than bbc news. Small balcony no sun or view, uncomfortable chairs. Kitchen, only 1 power point for kettle and toaster. Bad health and safety issues cables running over cooker hot plates.Very small grill/oven. No cleaning. The whole apartment extremely basic for the extortionately high cost approx.£1,000 For 1 week. Usually pay this for 2. Expected much, much more. Don't expect booking.com will contact us?
