Hotel La Ninfa  

The view is gorgeous, to say nothing. Really matches the pictures published.

The hotel is absolutely not ready to host guests during winter. Most of the rooms are really cold. You feel tremor even with your coat on. When we came to the hotel we had to go through 6 rooms to find the one not so cold and with the hot water in the bathroom. Can you believe? We paid for the sea view room and received a room without a single window. We stayed there because the rooms with windows are so poorly isolated from the sea wind that during the winter you can not stay there. Too cold. And they don't have any heating facilities, just those old air conditioners which didn't work when we came. They told us we can switch to a sea view room because they've fixed the air con next day but we didn't want to sleep with the noisy machine working all night long and wind still coming from every gap in the windows. And I don't know if they had fixed the hot water in that room. To be fair, the staff was really helpful, trying to solve our problem (cold room, no hot water) when we came. It's the management that refused to compensate last two days of our fully prepaid stay or at least to compensate the difference between the sea view room and no-window room. Probably during summer this place is the one to stay at. Just be prepared to the scary road along Amalfi coast. You'd better stay in Salerno/Sorrento and visit Amalfi/Positano/Ravello/Praiano/Minori and other towns by bus.

There is nothing that I can say that I liked about the hotel. The view from the hotel is amazing, but without any windows in our hotel room, it was wasted.

The hotel was extremelly disappointing. The room was extremely small and the sound proofing was terrible (we could hear when other guests arrived and left the hotel). There was no window for our room, which was also located directly behind the hotel kitchen/bar area, meaning we were woken up early in the morning as guests arrived for their breakfast (which had limited options). The hotel claims to have wi-fi, yet the signal was too poor to be picked up from our room. The door to our room did not lock properly and the curtain covering it did not properly keep out the light from outside.

Great view from our room... it was like a mini apartment and all we could hear was the lovely sound of the water. It was very very clean and comfortable. Perhaps the breakfast could be improved upon.... perhaps better quality croissants and not so much cake!

Location was just outside Amalfi which I wanted to allow an easy drive to other areas nearby, so a car is best. Lots of parking. Quiet as below road and we had a lovely bathroon and full ocean view (but window was offset from bed).

Breakfast needed some more fresh fruit. Be aware the walk up from the beach is 463 steps.....

situé à l'aplomb de la mer, un spectacle inoubliable, un petit hôtel magnifique et vraiment atypique, des chambres "alcôves" au décors poétique. Nous, les 70 ans et plus y reviendront certainement, mais pour les "jeunes", un vrai petit nid pour lune de miel ou vacances amoureuses!!! vaut vraiment le détour, à recommander à toute personne allant à Amalfi... Un accueil fort sympathique, discret,nous n'avons pas eu le temps de gouter au menu de l’hôtel mais le petit déjeuner a sa petite note différentes des autres hôtels italiens que nous avons fréquentés.

Organização e funcionarios atenciosos

No nosso quarto a conexao sem fio com a internet nao funcionava bem

Ponto de onibus bem próximo.As funcionárias foram gentis e atenciosas.Porém houve um fato desagradável que nos deixou bastante chateados. Vide comentário negativo abaixo.

1-O hotel nos mandou um e-mail nos ameaçando cobrar 50 euros por uma chave que não nos foi entregue. 2-Errar é humano, mas a falta de humildade em não pedir desculpas ao descobrirem o erro cometido já denota falta de educação, pessoa orgulhosa e desconsideração com o hóspede além de demosnstrar a total desorganização deste hotel. 3- constava que teríamos internet. Após 22 h, o local não tem luz junto às mesas, tendo que trabalhar no balcão da recepção. Um local inadequado e em pé.4-quarto muito pequeno.

La notevole gentilezza del personale

L'ubicazione delle camere classic non è il massimo (tutte posizionate nella hall dietro al bar dove si fa la colazione) ma è il prezzo che si deve pagare per poter soggiornare in una così bella location a picco sulla costiera amalfitana.

La posizione come gran parte degli hotels di Amalfi è eccezionale. la colazione buona con vista mozzafiato. Camere discrete, giusto rapporto qualità prezzo.

Vista maravilhosa, café da manhã muito bom, receptividade excelente, localização ótima. Funcionaria Carmen extremamente atenciosa e prestativa.

דחסו זוג לחדר של בודד. השירותים "הפרטיים" היו מחוץ לחדר בקור מקפיא. חדר תחליפי ללא חלון ואינו מאוורר. למלון אין חנייה לרכב (ברחוב ממול אפשר...). אינטרנט אלחוטי נקלט כמעט רק במקום אחד (כנראה ליד נקודת הגישה). היו לנו רק הפתעות לא נעימות !
