Sylvia is very nice and try to help.
I really dint like the bed was the worsed experience I had in Firenze and basically I left one day earlier even it was paid to go in another hotel.
Really friendly staff, clean big rooms, comfortable beds
Windows are not tight enough, can be loud in the morning( rubbish collection service)
The apartment is old but maintenance of the apartment is fairly OK. The owner is friendly.
1. The bedrooms are altogether on one floor and the whole area echoes.. the rooms have no isolation at all, you hear doors squeaking, people peeing and talking all the time. I did not get any sleep at all. Worst case is when it's breakfast time - the coffee machine is from the 80s and when people make coffee, it sounds like they are drilling the floor. 2. Poor breakfast: We did not touch the food there. Some pieces of toastbread and rather bland and boring basic homebaked cake were all. Cheap and no character. 3. Located far from the center. Considering all the three negative points mentioned here, I would not go back to this place for accommodation.
Nicely located and I liked that it was a 10 to 15 minute walk to all the sites. We were given good referrals on where to eat. Very friendly and helpful staff The apt. was clean
It was difficult find the apt. as there are many little streets that are one ways. The apt. was a bit dark
Very welcoming staff. Spotlessly clean. Not luxury but had everything we needed in a great location.
Silvia was very welcoming, the building and rooms had character and there was thoughtfulness put into breakfast.
Although a pleasant walk it was 15 or so minutes to Duomo area. I would definitely stY here again.
The location is close enough to the historic centre to easily walk to all the sights, but in a quiet residential/ business district. The owner, Sylvia, and her team are all excellent - very helpful. The rooms are basic but spotless. Breakfast is simple but good quality. Wifi was free and good signal. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others
The breakfast room is a little cramped at peak time (just after 8) but otherwise nothing to dislike.
The hosstess Silvia is wonderful. She recomended nice and value for money restaurants. Please go yo Trattoria di Titto. The room is clean and quite.
Sylvie was very helpful indeed. Access to the kitchen/dining area anytime to make a cup of tea or coffee. This was great. Thank you.
It would be better if there was a separate toilet, especially when a person spends a long time on the shower.
We appreciated much of staying at La Notte Blu before our best friend's wedding this August. Thanks for all the suggestions & guidance.
Room very clean, good location (near from San Marco museums / approx. 10min from the center of Firenze by walking), quiet street, Silvia gives you good advice
small breakfast, poor sound isolation (I could hear the occupants from the room next door)
Silvia and Giorgio were the consummate hosts. They were very attentive to any concerns or needs. The room were was meticulously clean. Breakfast was substantial. I liked the location, just far enough away from the throngs of tourists but close enough for a leisurely walk to all the main attractions. If ever I am in Florence again, I will definitely return here. Thank you Silvia and Giorgio.
We loved Sylvia. She was so welcoming. It was very clean. She made homemade bread every morning. The breakfast area was clean and she put a variety of pastries. The location was close to all the museums.
The staff were great and the hotel was very clean. The breakfast was good and the muffins very good. Location was fine- about 15 mins walk to the centre. A good base for a visit.
No dislikes as such. The room was basic however spotlessly clean. Shower and bathroom fine. Mattress quite firm. We had a room at the back which was quiet. The lack of soundproofing sometimes meant you could hear things that you didn't necessarily want to hear.
The warmth of Silvia and here caring staff made our stay memorable. To have this central, affordable, and quality accommodation in the heart of Florence was a great asset to us.
Silvia was a terrific host! She was friendly and very helpful. She made our whole family feel comfortable during our time in Florence.
The owner and the staffs were excellent. The host gave some good tips for the restaurants, transport and site seeing which were very valuable. The location was closer to the attractions (if you are ok to walk around 1 or 2 kms). The rooms were reasonable in size.
The rooms were little old. It was clean and tidy though. The host did helped changing the room as I requested her, which was better than the first room, but still missing the freshness. The breakfast room was quite small to move around. an alternate idea is to use the connecting balcony space.
Room with enough space for a family of 5. Clean room, nice neighborhood, great hostess
The air con and internet worked perfectly, and it is in a neighbourhood which didn't have any noise from outside, which was fantastic. It is close to everything, so walking is easy. Lovely hosts and breakfast too.
Silvia is the host is so friendly and helpful. The location is great, the beds are extremely comfortable and everything is always immaculate
That we were only staying three nights!
The staff were really pleasant and helpful. The room was really bright and clean. Free wifi worked really well. The bathroom was nice and spacious.
The breakfast was ok, but was a bit lacking with choice.
Lovely lady running the place extremely helpful. Would definitely stay again.
Wifi problems but to be fair this was outside the owner's control.
Friendly staff, nice and quiet atmosphere
A little bit distant from the center of Firenze, but still ok to walk
Good location, good breakfast to start the day and Silvia really made our stay at La Notee Blu and Florence memorable. She assisted in directions and recommendations for sites to see and for dinner were excellent. I appreciated Silvia, her friendliness and knowledgable, I would highly recommend-superb! Good breakfast to start the day, thanks to Georgio too. Colleen and Jennifer, Canada.
clean quite nice people good breakfast
Very far from train station
