La luce della camera troppo soffusa

Posizione centralissima a Roma. Nelle vicinanze si trovano tutti i posti più importanti della città. Si possono fare tutte le visite comodamente a piedi....e quando ci si stanca si rientra per riposarsi. La camera è arredata con gusto con mobili in stile ed il bagno spazioso con tutte le comodità. Lo staff è gentile ed fornisce volentieri delle indicazioni per le visite.

Sobrietà degli ambienti, camera silenziosa e accogliente, colazione abbondante e gustosa, in particolare la torta... sembrava una delle mie!!!! ed infine, ma direi prioritario, personale affabile ed efficiente.

Ambiente familiare, ben organizzato. Camera piccola ma comoda. Personale accogliente e disponibile. La posizione è ottima per chi vuole fare shopping e stare in centro città.

direi che chiamarlo b&b è una pubblicità per i bed and breakfast! un quattro stelle almeno...ottima posizione...gentilezza dello staff e bella camera...il tutto rapportato al prezzo irrisorio pagato grazie ad un offerta lampo

La cortesia e preparazione del personale. Pur lasciando la stanza alle 6 e 30 mi hanno lasciato una buona colazione in camera! Niente. Ho dormito benissimo ....ecco magari per coloro che sono molto molto sensibili ai rumori un minimo di rumore di auto dalla strada arriva. Ripeto io ho dormito benissimo

La tua casa nel centro di Roma. Soluzione confortevole e ad un buon prezzo. Meglio di molti ho tele a quattro stelle in cui ho soggiornato di recente.

We truly enjoyed the staff who were warm, friendly and very helpful. The rooms are large, clean and well accommodated. The location is absolutely fantastic! We were able to walk to major attractions in just a few minutes. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Papessa and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

The best thing in Papessa was its extremely helpful staff. They're making their best to make you comfortable and in the end you feel like it's your home. Location is great, Fontana di Trevi is in 5 minutes of walking distance. Duomo, Piazza Navona and Spagna are also close by. If you want to visit Rome and stay in city center; La Papessa is the best choice considering its budget friendly prices and friendly, always smiling staff.

Very clean, Prompt reply by email, easy to reach, superb location, bed and linens, fantastic rooms looking on to via del corso, bus stop infront, easy walking to all the places, shopping, safe, trevi behind the hotel.arranging transportation to and from the airport.Caterina, Monica and Marchella are excellent hosts.Thank you .

Taking the stairs to reach the elevator, which is not a big deal if you don't have lot of luggage otherwise its a pain .

The location can't be better, walking distance to all the major sights of Rome. The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful. Altogether, we felt very welcomed and quite at home.

Well, maybe it's a problem of downtown Rome, but the water pressure could be improved... coming in with a car is tricky.

A gem in the centre of Rome. The welcome we received from Marcella was so warm and friendly. She really is an absolute gem and makes the stay at Papessa very easy with all the information she is able to give. We will be going back to the Papessa and that is something I wouldn't normally do is go back to the same place twice. Very impressed indeed. The location is so perfect. 5 mins to the Trevvi fountain, 10-15 to many of the others in the top 10 places to visit. Loved Rome and still have the warm glow from it now :-)

La Papessa has a fabulous central location, 5 minutes walk from the Trevvi Fountain and Pantheon and within easy reach of the main sights, bus service is available on your doorstep but the Vatican and Colosseum are also within walking distance, if you like taking a stroll along the river. We took the bus to both and walked back, taking our time to take in the beautiful sights and walking through the shops and bars in the back streets. The staff were on hand to help with bus routes and local information, and could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was served every day and was delicious, a range of cold meats, cheese, pastries, toast and cereal, yoghurts, juice, teas and coffees were available. There were many bars and restaurants to go to but a very convenient one right outside the door, which served good and reasonably priced food with the addition of a 20% discount, just remember to say you are staying at La Papessa when asking for the bill.

- Location was fantastic, 10 minute walk away from all sites - staff were incredibly helpful, went out of their way to help us even provided a map and circled places to go and indicated bus routes to get to far off places also helped book day events and excursions - very accomodating - room was very nice, but dated - excellent air condition overall, for the amount of money you are paying what you get is exceptional. If we ever went back to Rome we would stay here again, and we would recommend it to everyone.

Small things - nothing major. The shower: due to the size of the shower cubicle the shower head was too large and superfluous - even if they had picked a normal sized shower head it would have made more sense. But even then, if youre not too fussed about that kinda stuff, its not a big deal. it didnt ruin the stay or holiday or anything Like ANY hotel in the centre of a European city there is going to be a bit of noise pollution - its not overly excessive at all, but its worth taking into consideration.

If it is available, book it. No need to look further. I rate it 200%, more than excellent. Two things I loved about this place, the location and how lovely the accomodations and owners are. I loved the style elements fo the hotel. The rooms were well appointed, like an upscale b&B. Lovely elegant furnishings, cherished books like Dante stacked artistically as accents. In our room there was not only a bed, armoire, deska and chair and refridgerator but also this very comfortable double seater mini sofa. Very nice upscale bedding and matching curtains. If you would have any special needs, I would call them directly and see if they can accomodate, I am sure they would. Sky tv for world choices, free wifi and lots of plugs were welcomed. The owners are also perfect for resources for planning your visit and travels, not to mention feeing welcome. They also called us a cab to the airport. The same rate as everyone, 50 euros on a Sunday. But, the driver had iced bottles of water and candies. He arrived in a large van and played the part of a tour guide with reference books as we made our way to the airport. It would have been good to have him pick us up to begin with. There are many buses that come right to the hotel, 62, 63, 492 to mention just a few. You can get anywhere in the city easily from this location. It was so hot when we were there, we used the buses just to go a few stops, it is really nice. One goes right to the capuchin monks museums for the bones decorations, literally door to door. Lots of shopping in the area. The Corso is closed off just down the street from the hotel for weekend shopping, it really is that close to major shopping. Do not hesitate to book it. Or if you have concerns, call the owners, they will be all too eager to accomodate you!!

Ok there are stairs. It is on the 2.5 floor. 13 stairs up to the 0 floor with a small lift. The lift is for 3 people, but my daugther and I took turns each taking it up with our luggage. The from the top floor, it is 13 stairs down to La Pappsesa's door. If the stairs are a problem with luggage, call them in advance or ask the taxi to help you up possibly. They helped us with luggage when we arrived. Dont make the stairs the issue, it is really worth it to stay at such a nice place, so well located in the center of Rome! It may be hard to find. The street number places you right at a pharmacy. It is the next door past the pharmacy. Easy to find once you know. Two nice restaurants right at the front door. We were there in the heat of the summer and the restaurants had misters, which were really nice. The negatives really are positives, as the location is awesome!!!! There is actually a sign on the building leading you to the Trevi fountain, you are that close!!

The location near Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, etc., is great. Marcella was extremely helpful with directions, getting taxis, suggesting restaurants. The b&b has only four rooms, so service is very personal. Our room was very nice.

If you have much luggage, can be difficult to get up stairs or use very small lift.

La Papessa was in a great location, an easy walk to the Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona and great inexpensive restaurants. The decor was charming and the foam beds were very comfortable.
