Hotel La Paül  

The hotel is in great location - just few minutes walk from all the action. Nice breakfast.

The rooms and bath are small. The room has a very basic design.

The hotel's location was excellent, a 10-minute walk to the center of tourism and Castel, children had a choice between the pool to the lake, traveling alone with a bicycle from the hotel to the center and be independent. The service of waiters in the dining room was the most gracious, most satisfying breakfast

The bathroom was small and crowded, our bathroom window was in the balcony of the adjoining room and had to close the window for privacy in the shower or bathroom.

Close to the old town of Sirmione. On the "beach". Free internett access.

The airconditoin didn´t work and it was 32 degrees outside and almost the same inside, so it was very hot nights. We asked them to fix it, but it never went any better. We stayed there for four terrible nights. The breakfast was not much to smile for, and some of the staff in the breakfast room were not very friendly.

Lake Garda is magnificent, we truly enjoyed the view from the beach, the city of Sirmione is very charming.

The room was very shabby and small, even some ants in the room. It was manageable for one night after a busy, but we'd not stay longer. Staff was unfriendly. Breakfast is until 10 am, but at 9:45 am waiters started to remove all food and very loudly clean tables, put chairs on top, etc. We were forced to hurry up with breakfast and leave earlier.

The elevator was broken which caused a problem for our 80 Year old grandmother, thplumbing was shot and rusty water came out of teh hot water taps. very basic facility andn a little pretencious for the price.

Durante il nostro breve soggiorno, abbiamo riscontrato un comportamento poco urbano e cortese da parte del personale. Sarebbe,quindi,auspicabile un modo di porsi più gentile e cordiale nei confronti di chi vi procura lavoro,vista anche la situazione disastrosa in cui versa l'Italia in questo momento.

Ich war das 3. Mal im Hotel Paül, weil mir die Liegewiese mit der Aussicht und die Entfernung in die Altstadt gefällt. Allerdings.....siehe unten....

Ich war mit meinen Freundinnen unterwegs und da haben wir ein Familienzimmer gebucht. Bekommen haben wir das letzte stinkende Loch im Erdgeschoss. Das Zimmern war feucht und das Fenster befand sich in ca. 2 Meter Höhe, daher war das Zimmer dunkel, auch auf der Terrasse davor gab es kein Licht. Der Urlaub war mit dem Einzug in dieses Loch gelaufen! Dafür fahre ich keine 727 km!!!

Für uns der perfekte Ort - direker Seezugang, schattenspendende Bäume, viel Platz am und im See. Strandbar um über den Tag zu kommen (günstige Preise). Personal an der Rezeption spricht fließend Englisch und manche sogar Deutsch. Hotelzimmer sehr gut und geräumig, mit akzeptabler Ausstattung (kein Wartungsstau!!). Frühstück akzeptabel für italienische Verhältnisse.

Parkplatz reicht in der Hauptsaison nicht aus. Am Ufer zu wenige LIegen, so dass Mallorcafeeling aufkommt und sehr früh am Morgen (Nacht) schon Reservierungen vorgenommen werden. Restaurantpersonal spricht fast ausschließlich italienisch - daran gewöhnt man sich aber. Nach einiger Zeit wiederholte sich die Menuefolge beim Abendessen (Halbpension) - Essen (Qualität) war aber immer ok.

Es war sehr angenehm und ruhig, obwohl es an der Strasse liegt. Die Zimmer ohne Balkon sind für einen längeren Aufenthalt nicht zu empfehlen. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit, sich abends noch nach draussen zu setzen. Keine Bewirtung nach 22.00 Uhr.

Das Frühstücksbuffet war nicht sehr abwechslungsreich. Wir waren 9 Tage dort und es hat immer die gleiche Wurst und den gleichen Käse gegeben. Etwas mehr Abwechslung wäre nicht schlecht. Es gibt auch immer die gleichen Brötchen und Brotsorten. Für ein Hotel mit Internationalem Publikum etwas mager. Was noch schlecht ist, das das Servicepersonal beim Frühstück sehr lärmig ist.

Sauberkeit

unser Zimmer Nr.2 war über das Fenster der Receptio einsehbar und bot einen Ausblick auf die Hofeinfahrt und einen schmudeligen Kellerabgang.Zi. Nr.1 hat ein Fenster mit ca. 1m Abstand zur nächsten Aussenwand.das Personal an der Reception spricht immer nur dann Deutsch, wenn es sich nicht um Reklamationen handelt, Englisch versteht man dort angeblich auch nicht besonders.wir haben in 5 Tagen mehrfach erlebt, daß Anreisende, die gebucht hatten,sofort wieder abgereist sind.
