The staff was very friendly, the room was nice and there was the lake next to the hotel. We liked everything and would book this hotel again.
Delicious breakfast, great staff, wifi and bike hire.
The staff is very kind Free parking for the whole time Very welcoming!!
The wood in the room and red color of bed sheets is horrible
Garden and backyard, location
Our room didn't have a terrace. Bathroom was a little bit odd
Perfect location Good price Parking Walking distance to the fortress Very good breakfast
Rooms a bit small, and the Air-conditioning gets turned of on the 1.October,had to leave the window open which attracted the mozzies.
Location to lake and the old town. Proximity to Restaurants.
Aircon didn't work, and several attempts to resolve the problem were unsuccessful.
The furniture is very very old. Terrible smell of old age in the room. Air conditioning doesn't work.
Room was old, no shower curtain.
Good breakfast, close to city (15 min. walk).
The hotel needed a fresh and modern decorative look. Our bedroom furniture was very dark brown and the yellow walls should be a bright white colour.
The location of the hotel. The garden of the hotel was right on Lake Garda. The breakfast was excellent. Our room was always clean. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Great location, short walk to centre of Sirmione. We had a room with lateral view of lake, with lovely views. Breakfast good and being able to eat in the garden was lovely. Plenty of parking
The Free bike hire, not maintained they are dangerous and unsafe, nice idea but have to be looked after.
The Hotel is situated a short walk (10 minutes) near the Old Town of Sirmione where you will find an abundance of restaurants, bars and shops. The Hotel is located on the west side of the peninsular jutting in to Garda with good views of the lagoon. it has a pleasant garden with sun loungers directly facing the Lake and has a relaxing atmosphere. The location is a good base for exploring the other Towns located at the Southern end of the Lake such as Garda, Lazize and Bardolino which are all worth a visit. There is a Ferry Boat and Hydra foil that can be caught from the Old Town to the other Towns on the Lake and is a pleasant way to spend your day. Breakfast was good and ample and can be taken on the Balcony.
Air conditioning was just a noisy fan and room was dark. Front reception was too busy smoking to check us in.
Room was large and beds were comfortable. Good location.
Hotel could do with a little brightening up as dark furniture & dull colours in rooms. Our shower was very basic & not enclosed enough - no door - floor got quite wet & slippery. You do need a car to get around.
We attended a Riva Club Event & we had our boat opposite the hotel for 4 days @ Nautica Bisoli which has mooring & lifting facility for boats. Hotel was very clean & rooms basic but comfortable. Fresh towels daily. Food good & Bar food also good. Outdoor pool was an advantage & looked very clean. Staff very friendly .Large car park
The beds were not comfortable and the pillows are like rocks, could do will be changed. Dinner menu was poor in terms of variety.
The location was excellent. In terms of distance to the centre, and also its gardens where directly on the edge of the lake.
The booking in system left much to be desired. We Arrived in total darkness at 11pm on a Saturday. A receptionist who could not speak a word of English traipsed us around the the garden in total darkness to a room that was tucked away in the corner and left us to it no explanation, information, nothing. The room No 8 was in total darkness and required the lights to be on for the three days in order to see clearly, we were in it until we complained and were then provided with another room a bit better. There were also tree rats in the tree overlooking rooms 8&9 from the hotel next door. When we complained we were fobbed of with the excuse " they are not rats". I know a rat when I see one !!!. Also during the second week of our stay we had a swarm of ants crawling up the wall and the exterior to the patio door on the balcony, preventing us using the balcony. The janitor sprayed repellent on the nest promising to return next day to poison and clear the ants, needless to say this was not done up until the day we left. Also the WiFi reception was appalling. We could only get reception on the balcony,(Sometimes). Overall I feel the receptionist's could have been more client friendly, one always got the impression that you were disturbing them from surfing the net. I did not feel that that this hotel was value for 2044 euro, and did not live up to it's post review comments. Would not visit beautiful Lago de Garda staying at this hotel again. Would make another choice.
The view from the garden. The cleaners were efficient and very pleasant. Sheets were changed every 2/3 days. Plenty of variety for breakfast. Beach bar operator was very pleasant and efficient and could not do enough to please.
Breakfast very average - often running out of plates, bowls, cutlery and food choices. clearly dis-organised management systems when busy. Coffee awful. Scambled egg unappetizing. Breakfast fruit canned - or peel your own orange. Bedroom aircon not good. Wifi in rooms pathetic./ totally unreliable. All these don't likes could be so easily fixed but they are not open to feedback.
Good, friendly, helpful staff. Great location - 5 mins walk into Sirmione. Good private car park. Good lakeside sunbathing area.
Not sufficient storage space for clothing in the rooms (no draw space).
Conditions of the free use bikes. Especially in comparison with other hotel bikes. It would have been really nice to have a nice bike to tour around the lake. But the bikes werw barely road worthy.
Location and breakfast and pool
Access to the lake.
Hotel is taking great place for anything what you want to do in surroundings. Parking for free! Bicycles for free!
Bar /pool food terrible. No real bar in hotel to enjoy a drink in the evenings. Selection of food available is not good which means you need to walk down to nearest restaurant to get anything during day or evening
Location is great for walking to old town
WiFi reception terrible in the room, worked only in the lobby. TV was not working in the room. Air conditioning in the room was quite noisy during night.
Good service and perfect walking distance, even with children, for trips to historical center of Sirmione.
Most staff (except cleaners) at best civil at worst rude. Showed no interest in guests (hardly ever greeted by reception staff although stayed for 6 nights). Stupid booking system for dinner (handled by chef who did not appear until 6 pm to say yes or no) meant we could never use restaurant in evening. Breakfast staff rushing about almost bumping into guests and removing items right in front of people - presumably to top up supplies. Such a shame - could have been a great place.
Location within walking distance of pretty Sirmione centre. Good rooms, although marble shower "enclosure" meant whole bathroom sprayed every time shower used. Toiletries a bit on the mean side.
There was little welcome or courtesy shown. At its worst, the receptionist did not say thank you when we paid our bill which was substantial! If having a shower early in the morning the water was cold. It was difficult to find sufficient cutlery for breakfast each morning
Rooms were clean and showers were modern. Breakfast was good, Some of the staff were quite friendly and helpful.
No fridge in room and no balcony:( no English channels on tv
Location was about ten minute walk from town n bus routes etc... V helpful lad at reception printed our boarding passes because we couldn't get then printed. Always sun. Loungers available at pool but not at lake . Wifi good at pool and reception but not in room
